Taehyung and Jimin prepared a few things for the camping trip. They couldn't gather more things because it was only for a short period of time. Besides, the trip was mainly for the kids because Sunmi thought it was a good idea to let the children experience outdoor life but she wanted to make sure everything was as safe as possible for the kids so she chose a safe location free from wild animals. It was located at a forest reserve in Daegu which turns out to be Taehyung's home town.

Not all the students decided to go since exams were drawing near but the seven boys definitely went as well as Minho, Yugyeom and a few other people including Nayeon much to Jimin's chagrin but he was sure of Taehyung's loyalty. He knew that whatever she throws at him wouldn't work but he also knew he was being selfish, that Taehyung deserved much more than he was getting but he needed to clear something up or else he would never be comfortable loving Taehyung in this time line.

Sunmi hired two luxurious buses to take the kids and the students to Daegu. It was only a two hours journey from Seoul. The morning for the scheduled trip, Jimin and Taehyung arrived together.

The others also arrived together. Jin looked really excited as he whispered about all the naughty games he had planned for them. Everyone else just groaned tiredly.

Jimin was happy that at least Taehyung wasn't ignoring him. He wasn't the type to hold a grudge and that made him feel more relaxed around him.

Soon, they started to help the staffs to load instruments into the buses. It was while they where loading that Sunmi called Jimin and Taehyung into her office. They where a bit surprised especially Jimin because he had never personally interacted with Sunmi before so he wondered what could be so important that she had to summon them.

"Please sit" Sunmi said gesturing to the two of them.

They did as she said and sat on the two chairs opposite her table.

"Miss Sunmi, what's this about?" Taehyung started.

"It's about Jung min!" Sunmi answered.

Jimin and Taehyung shared worried glances as they looked at each other before turning their heads to face her again.

"What about Jung min" Jimin asked.

Sunmi took a deep breath clasping both her hands together.

"He refused to get adopted!"

They both blinked repeatedly.

"What? But why?" Taehyung said.

Sunmi smiled wryly.

"Apparently, it's because of you two!"

Jimin and Taehyung looked at each other again, surprise etched into each other's eyes.

"The two of us?" Jimin whispered and the woman nodded.

"He said and i quote 'I only want Jimin hyung and Taehyung hyung to adopt me' I asked him why and he said 'because they truly love me'"

She said all these while making sign language. When she stopped, Jimin felt tears threatening to pour down his eyes but he held them back strongly when he felt Taehyung's hand tighten around his own.

Sunmi continued. "There was a nice couple willing to adopt him, care for him and even send him abroad to have surgery on his ears and throat"

She looked at them critically. "This was something we have always wanted for Jung min but for some strange reason we can't understand, he loves you both so much that he refuses adoption"

Jimin sighed. "Can't you make him get adopted?"

Sunmi shook her head. "I'm afraid we can't. The child must be willing to accept his new parents. If not, we'll be violating his free will"

Jimin and Taehyung looked worried as Sunmi continued. "You both will have to let go of him so he can have a family...a real one"

She shook her head pitifully. "You're both very young which is why i don't think you're ready to take responsibility for a six year old boy"

They both looked at each other again, silently agreeing with Sunmi. They loved Jung min but they couldn't adopt him. Even if they wanted to, they still hadn't sorted themselves out. Jimin looked at Taehyung and noticed the conflict in his eyes. He could tell when the other was worried and Taehyung was definitely worried at that moment so he spoke to Sunmi instead.

"We'll do what we can. Jung min deserves a happy family. We won't want to take that away from him" he said.

Sunmi looked pointedly at Taehyung. "Do you agree with Jimin?"

Taehyung finally looked up and put up a smile. A smile Jimin knew was fake.

"Yes... I agree with Jimin" he whispered in a hollow voice and Sunmi nodded her head wearing a satisfied smile on her lips.

"Then it's fine. I leave everything up to you guys" She said.

When they left her office, Jimin noticed how pale Taehyung suddenly looked and the sadness in his eyes broke him. Slowly, he rested a hand on his shoulder.

"Are you okay Tae?" he whispered and the latter just groaned tiredly.

Jimin didn't know what to make of Taehyung's reaction when he saw his eyes suddenly widen and his lips break into a sweet smile.

Jimin wondered what made him change so quickly when he saw Jung min running towards them. Taehyung opened his arms and the boy rushed into them.

Jimin saw the relief on Taehyung's face as he squeezed the boy into a tight hug. Jimin thought he saw a tear fall down his cheeks but maybe it was only just his imagination because it wasn't there anymore.

Jimin finally realized something as his heart melted at the adorable scene before him. Jung min was special to Taehyung. There where more than fifty children in that orphanage but out of all of them, Taehyung had a stronger bond with Jung min. He hadn't bothered before to find out why but now, he was curious. 

Jimin couldn't believe he was curious about everything that concerned Taehyung. Before now, he hadn't bothered to find out more about his friend. The reverse was the same but ever since he started falling for Taehyung, he realized that he wanted to know everything about him. He also realized didn't really know him that well and was only starting to discover about him day after day.

Taehyung carried Jung min in his arms as they both walked towards the bus. One of the buses where filled leaving the other one fairly occupied so they approached that bus. As they entered, they noticed Hoseok waving at them from the back of the bus. He was sitting with Yoongi who as usual, had a bored look on his face like the only thing he wanted at that moment was to sleep.

Hoseok pointed to the three seat at the other side of his own. They both offered him a smile as they walked over to the seats and sat down. As soon as Taehyung placed Jung min on his lap, the boy squirmed over towards Jimin's laps causing him to blush. It's not like he could help it. Jung min was too adorable.

Since Jimin was sitting close to the window, Jung min was looking out of it with wondrous eyes. He made a sign language to Taehyung and he replied with another sign language.

"What did he say?" Jimin asked.

"He said he can't wait to see the nature" Taehyung responded and Jimin sighed. "You really have to teach me this sign language thing some day"

Taehyung nodded his head. "Don't worry...i will"

"Move over!" a loud voice suddenly barked above them taking them unawares. They both looked to see who owned that voice and it was Nayeon glaring angrily at them especially at Jimin.

Taehyung looked at her warily. "What are you doing Nayeon?" he murmured.

"Can't i sit here with you or am I going to bother your little boyfriend?" Nayeon said throwing a sinister look at Jimin who clenched his fist to try and calm his nerves.

"Bitch, there are other seats in the bus. Why do you have to be a nuisance?" Hoseok attacked and she peered at him disdainfully.

"I wasn't talking to you and I surely don't remember bringing your loud mouth into this conversation!" She leered.

Hoseok rose from his seat, anger flaring in his eyes

"What did you just say to me!" he yelled only to be held back down by Yoongi. Nayeon just rolled her eyes non chalantly still standing beside Taehyung. It looked like she wasn't ready to leave.

"Okay fine...sit down and stop causing trouble" Taehyung said hesitantly and quickly earned a glare from Jimin.

Grinning from ear to ear, Nayeon sat beside Taehyung while Hoseok murmured insults at her but she didn't seem to care as long as she had gotten what she wanted.

"Hi Jung min" she said gleefully towards the boy seated on Jimin's  laps but Jung min just stared blankly at her. Seems he didn't like her that much anymore but she just rolled her eyes seeming unaffected.

The buses started to move and the journey began. Within few minutes, Jung min had fallen asleep, his head resting on Jimin's chest but all the while, Jimin was very much aware of Nayeon and definitely didn't fail to notice how she pressed herself closely to Taehyung. Jimin even saw her running her hands slowly over Taehyung's thighs causing the latter's face to turn totally red as he brushed her hands away from his thighs.

"What are you doing Nayeon?" Taehyung whispered boring angry eyes at her.

"Yes Nayeon, what do you think you're doing with my boyfriend?" Jimin said with with a dangerous glare. At the mention of boyfriend, Taehyung looked at him, a small smile forming on his lips as Nayeon started to mutter incoherent words until she just laid her back farther to the seat and crossed her arms.

"I thought so. Keep your little hands to yourself" he added daringly and caught Taehyung's smirk.

"You're scary when you're jealous" he muttered and Jimin blushed wishing to sink further into his seat.

Nayeon did keep her hands to herself. She even shifted a bit from Taehyung's side but Jimin could see the determination in her eyes. She wasn't ready to give up and that was keeping Jimin on edge. Much as he knew Taehyung loved him, Jimin knew he was only human. He couldn't forget what Hoseok told him.

Taehyung is a human being and he will turn to the very person who is willing to give him the love and attention he wants which means he can replace you with someone else

Those words kept bothering him because deep inside, he knew he was right. Nayeon was throwing herself at him, showing him she was available. She was pretty, attractive and definitely ready to mingle but here he was holding back from his happiness because he was scared to love his best friend from another time line.

He needed a sign, something, anything at all to show him a light. He was confused and really didn't know what to do.

The journey finally ended and they all reached their destination. The buses parked in front of the forest reserve and when they highlighted. The reserve was lightly packed with people who came to watch the animals. They where greeted by security officials who where there to assure them of their safety. The forest reserve wasn't far from the main town so the children and adults hiked to the camping ground situated close to a beautiful valley and a calm river side where they set up their tents and equipments.

The place was beautiful and picturistique. While Jimin was setting up his tent, Taehyung was taking pictures of the scenery and every other person including the children and the other students but most especially Jimin.

He took so many pictures of Jimin setting up the tent and packing up food, even doing trivial things. They had decided to share the same tent to make things easier. Besides, Jimin hated being alone and everyone had somebody plus again, it would be weird if they didn't share the same tent since everyone thought that they where really a couple.

"Yah Kim Taehyung, can you help me set up the tent. You've been taking pictures all day" Jimin complained looking tired.

Taehyung hung the camera around his neck before helping Jimin with the tent. They where finally able to finish it up together after a while. When they where done, the other couples met them but Jimin was surprised Taemin was with Minho and not Jungkook.

"Where's Jungkook?" he asked.

Taemin lowered his eyes. "We had an argument!"

Jimin glanced at Minho and the boy looked downcast. "It wasn't because of me" he whispered defensively.

Jimin just shook his head and looked towards Jungkook's direction but paused when he saw him talking with Yugyeom, Taehyung's room mate. He raised his eye brows. Jungkook and Yugyeom? Since when did they even start talking but then he remembered that he had once seen Jungkook looking at Yugyeom back at the orphanage and it had been a weird sight to see. This fundraiser seemed to be bringing unlikely people together.

"We are going into town. Wanna come?" Jin said as he was being wrapped in Namjoon's arms.

"Yoongi is taking me to his parent's house. How about Taehyung take you to his since it will be a nice way for you guys to bond more and know about your boyfriend's home town" Hoseok said.

Jimin thought he saw Hoseok wink at Taehyung but perhaps, it had been his imagination.

"See you guys!" Namjoon said cheerfully and they all left. Jimin turned to Taehyung who gave him an uneasy smile.

"Jimin, I do want to take you somewhere but not my house. It's somewhere more important than my house right now"

He suddenly grabbed his hand and Jimin shrugged.

"Don't worry, I know your house anyway but what is this place you're talking about?" Jimin whispered.

Taehyung sighed. "You'll know about it soon"

They left the camping site after ensuring Jung min was safe with the staffs. Jimin wondered where they where going when they left the forest reserve and got into town after riding a bus for about twenty minutes. Taehyung was unusually quiet and Jimin was uncomfortable with it but he tried not to show it.

When they got down from the bus, Taehyung took his hand and started to lead him as they walked the streets together but then stopped abruptly in front of a rusty gate with a sign Armies orphanage written on a faded board resting on the wall close to the gate.

Jimin peered closely at Taehyung.

"Where are we?" he whispered notice the tense look in his eyes.

Taehyung grabbed both his hands looking deep into his eyes. Jimin thought to himself that he had never seen Taehyung look as vulnerable as he did that moment.

"There's something I have to tell you. You don't really know much about me Jimin even though we have known each other for years. There where just things i was okay keeping to myself but now, I want you to be more involved in my life. I want you to know everything about me so I'm going to tell you something i have never told anyone in my life. A secret i have kept to myself for the past thirteen years"

Jimin squeezed his hands softly. "Tell me Tae" he whispered with the utmost concern and Taehyung told him.
