Roshini was winding up her works sadly. All her teammates were getting ready to leave the office enthusiastically but she was very upset and worried.

It was Valentine's day evening and their team members had planned for a dinner outing in ECR.

Roshini was least bothered about it as she was not in the mood of celebrating valentine's day.

All these years she had been avoiding that day as she was single. But this year things were different..

Brushing aside her pain she quickly wrapped her table and left home before anyone could ask her a question why she didn't join for dinner.

After having dinner she was sitting impatiently in front of her laptop waiting for a call.

Every second seemed to be like a year when she had been waiting for his call.

The moment his name flashed on the screen she attended it but kept silent..

Yes they both were staying away from eachother. Roshini and Harish got engaged three months ago. It was a pure arranged marriage.

They both were software engineers working in MNCs. They got to know about eachother through matrimony.

Their first meeting was in a coffee shop a day before they had arranged for an official meeting with parents.
Their likes and dislikes were almost same and they had their wavelengths matching.

As they were in the same line of work , their work pressure was well known to eachother. So they were ready to take the next step in life together.

They held a simple engagement at a temple with the closer family circle.

Within few days of their engagement, Harish got an onsite opportunity! Harish considered Roshini as his lucky charm. After her entry in his life, he got this opportunity which is another leap in his career.

Roshini was equally happy when she heard this news. As they both were in the initial stage of the relationship this distance didn't seem a big deal to them.

One Year Later

Harish and Roshini got married happily. It was 13th of February and Harish had returned home earlier due to the continuous pesters from his wife.

They had a quick dinner and she dragged him to the terrace.

They both sat down on the floor leaning to the terrace wall.

They both were  sitting and taking randomly.

After sometime she took his hand and checked the time.

Few seconds were only left to strike twelve.

She leaned on his shoulder and slowly whispered happy valentine's day

He kissed her forehead lovingly ❤️
