When Rahul left Ash's room to go and change , Jinks decided to follow him out and after a while, he asked " Rahul, What was this whole dinner thing ?" .

Confused Rahul stared at jinks and said " Actually I don't know exactly how the plan was made but Shrey said something he heard Harry saying virtual dinner and then Jassi called all the kids in his room, but why do you ask ?"

"Actually I wanted to call Ro but thought to ask you if he is free or not because you guys just spoke to him." Said Jinks trying to clarify.

" Oooh okay but Ro is busy with Jassi at the moment " said Rahul 

Jinks raised his eyebrow and questioned " This late🙃 he is still busy ?"

Smiling sheepishly he said " I don't know much but I guess Ro promised Jassi to spend some time and give him treat ."

" Oooh so he can spend time with his kiddo but won't call back his bestie once " mumbled Jinks bit sad.

Seeing Jinks sad  , Rahul was about to say something but someone cut him out saying " Jinks bhaiya , my bhaiya didn't forget his bestie , he gave me a message for you " said Jassi pouting at Jinks.

Sighing Jinks masked his sadness with a small smile and said " Here comes Ro's lawyer to defend his bhaiya"

Still pouting Jassi said " It's nothing like that and if you don't want to hear Ro Bhaiya's message then I'll go and  sleep "

Rahul who was witnessing this scene started laughing at once seeing Jinks shock face and Jassi's proud sheepishly smiling face.

Jinks recover soon and pulled Jassi's ears and said " badmash Baccha , since when did you became this naughty ha"

"Aaah bhaiya chodona it's hurting " said Jassi making a hurt and sad face.

Jinks left his ear concern " Did I hurt you bacche "

Smiling Jassi said " Naah bhaiya that's fine and vese Ro bhaiya's message is that he will call you tomorrow as for today he said something like pups needed more attention then packs and I know my delta can handle my alpha ."

Jinks clucked inwardly thinking ' leave it to Ro and his animal love even to give hidden message' and gave a understanding smile to Jassi and Rahul who were giving him confuse look. So he said " Thanks Jassi for the message now go both of you sleep it's getting late."

"Okay goodnight bhaiyya/Jinks" said both Jassi and Rah together.

" Goodnight " said Jinks and saw them disappear in corridor and thought ' I understand you Ro, elder brother in you was concern about kiddos but I can't be you for Vi' , sighing he too went inside his room.

In corridor Jassi turns suddenly towards Rahul and say " Sorry Rah, I didn't mean to take all of Vi Bhai's time to myself , I just wanted to keep my promise to Ro bhaiya and take care of Vi Bhai."

Understanding where Jassi is coming , Rahul said " It's okay Jass, I understand you just wanted to take care and be there for Vi just like bRo would have done it , if he was here , Ro made me understand so now it's all sorted vese you will  also have to share Ro's time with me when he comes here just like I did."
Chuckling Jassi said " Okay done deal , but you won't get much time , knowing rishu won't leave bhaiya ."

Sighing Rahul said " That's fine I'll adjust somehow and let's go , it's late anyway I need to go sleep in Vi room"

"Good night Rah , take care of Vi bhaiya , see you tomorrow" said Jassi and went towards his room.

Next Day :

Whole team went to practice for second ODI and Jinks , Ash and Puji were planning for dad and daughter's day out. So when Jinks was getting ready he received a call but seeing the caller ID he had small smile on his face and he answered it saying " So, finally you got some time for poor me "

He heard chuckling on the other side and caller said " Aree Ajju when did you turn into a drama queen ?" 

Smiling Jinks said " What drama queen Ro, I'm serious ." (Yes, guys you guessed it right, the caller is none other than Ro.)

"Ooh hello serious , I'm Rohit " said Rohit laughing.

" Seriously Ro , what are you upto" asked Jinks.

" No , but what crawled your pants and died that you are getting so irritated." Asked Ro.

Sighing jinks said " Seriously Ro , we are talking after almost  two weeks and that to this non sense talk"

Sighing Ro said " Isn't that what bestfriends do Jinks , we don't have to talk daily to know how and what other is feeling and if you are pissed because I didn't call you back yesterday then I'm sorry ok my training ended late and then I got to know about match and I knew Kids needed little cheer up so ___ " he trailed off .

" But Ro even Vi needed you yesterday " said Jinks .

"But Jinks for that you were there right , I know you will take care of him and be there whenever he needs someone" said Ro trying to control his breathing.

" But Ro I can't be you , Vi needed you " said jinks adamantly.

Sighing Ro replied " Ajju you don't need to be me , the bond you and Vi share is special enough and I know very well that you will take care of Virat and will always stand by him whenever he needs support, just like Mahi Bhai."

Sighing Jinks said "Okay Ro but  are you angry on Vi for that conference thing"

Gasping Ro said " I can't be angry on my captain when even I failed to inform him personally"

" Ro you are taking it wrong , Vi didn't mean it like that , he was ____ " Jinks was saying but Ro cut him off saying " That's fine Jinks you don't have to explain anything"

"But but Ro you got this wrong " again Jinks tried.

Ro tried controlling his heavy breathing and said " Jinks please can we talk something else please "

Jinks didn't knew why his heart pained listening to Rohit's tone , so,  he suddenly asked" Ro you are okay na "

Taking long breaths , Ro replied " Yes yes  m okay "

Still not convinced Jinks again said" Ro  you sure, you are okay "

Trying to sound cheerful Rohit said " Yes Ajju m fine but I miss you all that's it and vese where's my niece."

Jinks could see through Rohit's desperate attempt of topic change and said " We miss you too Ro , and vese your niece is getting dolled up for dads and daughters day."

" Dad's and daughters day ,what is that? "asked Ro

"Aree we I mean Ash , Puji and me are taking kids out so Rads Prithi and Puja can have some rest " explained Jinks.

" Ookaay ladies deserves that break vese you guys enjoy and take care of kids outside. Now I need to go Jinks it's my training time ,bye." Said Ro.

" Okay bye , you too take care of yourself and Ro we seriously miss you alot , come soon." Said Jinks disconnecting the call.

' I can't force you to talk over the call , I should wait for you to get here anyway you will come soon for the test series.' Jinks thought in his mind . But his thoughts were broken as he found Aadhya, Ash's daughter, calling him saying " Jinks chachu, we are ready , Appa is waiting for you downstairs, come , we will be late otherwise."

Aadhya said and started taking Jinks with her.
