Avoid mistakes

It's been 2 months now since manan saw Karan's scars. Alot has changed. It was aarav's and Karan's 18 birthday which they celebrated with great enthusiasm. Manik gift both of them brand new cars as promised while Nandini gift karan a guitar and aarav a piano. About Karan's health ? well Even though karan made them understand he is fine and now doing well, manan knew he is not. His therapy too can't start right now cause the doctor who was going to attend him, his wife gave birth to a beautiful baby girl. Manan knew that doctor is best for Karan and apparently he is the only doctor who is best in his field and manan don't know him personally. That's why they have to wait for 2 months more before that doctor actually starts his sessions. Manik was not ready to wait and asked nandini to take appointment of any of her friends who is good at this field but Karan straightforwardly denied and was adamant on his previous decision so manan had to agreed too.

Now Karan is going to rejoin his school From today so they were sitting on dining table and having breakfast. They all were chit chatting with each other and having there gala time. Nandini have some important operations today so she was in little bit hurry while manik was making sure of his presentation.

Manik- okay everyone I'm getting late so kids, lets go I'll drop you guys on my way.

Abhi- ahhhh don't worry, I'll do that. Vaise bhi I drive better than you.

He said last line naughtily to which karan said-(laughing) Agreed.

Saying this they both hi-5 and Manik made a bad face.

Since the time abhi has come back Karan and abhi made a really good bond which was not very pleasant to manik. It's not like he don't like it, he is just quite possessive for his kids.

Flashback

So the thing is after Abhi came back from New York, he went to his room to freshend up and Nandini sent karan to call him for dinner. When he went there he saw one file coming out from abhi's bag, it was going to fall so karan ran and immediately caught it but the words written on that file shocked him. It was abhi's Medical report which stated Abhi was the one who donated his kidney to Karan. He grab that file and ran downstairs calling everyone loudly.

( Thank you Vartika22  for asking me to let abhi donate🥺♥️ She asked me if I can let nandini donate kidney ,I told her I can't due to some reasons and also cause it will be too  evident as everyone will expect her only to donate. She is such a sweetheart,agreed immediately and then asked if we can let abhi do this? How can I deny such cute request?🥺♥️)

Manik-(worriedly) what's wrong champ? Are you okay?

Karan-(showing that file) dad see this, abhii uncle was the one who gave me kidney.

Nandini (shockingly)- what?

Raj- how is this possible Karan? Didn't doctor said there was a person who was dead and he donated his body organs to everyone who was in need.

Karan-that was all bullshit dadu, it was abhi uncle only. Check this file.

Everyone read that file and yes, it was true Abhi is the one donated his kidney. At the same time Abhi came downstairs unaware of recent happenings.

Abhi-what happened guys? Everything okay?

Manik(coming closer to Abhi)- what's this?

He asked showing those same Medical reports while abhi's face lost his colours. He started looking here and there which confirmed everyone's doubts.

Nandini (slowly)- why did you do this Bhai?

Abhi- why? Karan is my son too Nandini, if varun can get yours and Manik's love why can't Karan get my affection? Also, I wanted to do something for him, cause of me and my family only Karan and you both went through alot. Karan tou is still suffering. I knew if I'll told you the same you guys won't agree that's why I asked doctor to tell you guys all that story and next day after operation only I went to New York making an excuse of meetings. Only mine and Manik's kidney match with karan, I knew you guys will get suspicious that's why I only told doctor to tell you guys that only Manik's kidney match with karan.

Karan-(softly) you never have to do that uncle,I was never angry at you or anyone. It's okayyy...I don't know how many times I have to tell you all the same thing. There was absolutely no need for you to donate your kidney.

Abhi- if God forbids , Varun would have been in your place, you would have said the same thing to me Karan? I'm telling you for the very last time you are also my son like Varun. No more no less. Get it?

Karan nodded in yes hugging him and everyone else smiles Brightly seeing them.

Abhi- btw even you can call me dad or papa like Varun.

Before karan could say something manik loudly shouted- No way! Already he calls this sanki( he said pointing to ram who scoffed at him) dad, now you also comes in line. Only I....only I'm his father for God's sake. Dare you karan to call anyone else papa or dad other than me, Huh.

Karan (naughtily)- okay I won't, should I call him apppa?

Manik(irritatingly)- no appa chappa, only I'm your father you idiot.

Everyone was rolling on floor by now but manik was still having a bad face. For some reasons he is very possessive about karan, maybe even more than nandini,aarav or myrah. Years of distance has actually made him more close to Karan which everyone in the family is aware of and they absolutely love this fact.

Flashback ends

From that day abhi and Karan kind of best friends. They together tease everyone, laugh together and have all the serious conversation as well but still whenever karan is low or is confuse about something he want to have manan only. Specially Manik. Whereas aarav is more close to nandini. Aarav finds it easy to talk with Nandini on serious matters whereas karan finds same in Manik. And myrah? Well she is close to both of her parents for now...she goes to Manik when she wants to trouble Nandini and vice versa.

Manik-(fake anger) hahahah, fine then you come with your best friend I'm taking my baby and my beautiful wife. ( He said pointing towards myrah who immediately jumped in excitement)

Myrah-(happily) only myrah and papaji mummaji time?

Manik(smiling)- yess jaano.

Myrah started jumping around house like a bunny whereas everyone else smiles looking at her. Till now they were just teasing manik but seeing myrah getting excited for some alone time with her papajii they all decided to go with Abhi only.

Nandini-(smiling)- baby, you want to come na? (Myrah nodded in yes) Then come and finish your milk, come come.

Myrah immediately finish her milk this time but before they could get up manik got a call from his office.

Manik-(shouting) what? How can you be so irresponsible dammit?

Caller-........

Manik- fine! I'm reaching there in 30.

Saying this he cut the call and looked at Abhi helplessly- abhi can you drop myrah too? There is this problem in construction site and I really need to go there urgently

Everyone's smiles dropped and myrah was most sad.

Manik- actually no wait, nandini, Jaan you drop her na.....her school is on your way to hospital as well....she will feel good too.

Nandini- (little angrily)Manik, why did you ask her to come with you then?

Manik-nandini what's my fault? I just got a call, even I want to drop her but I'm helpless right now. There they need me.

Nandini (angrily)- yes everyone needs you except us.

Manik- now you are really overreacting Nandini, you know what? Do whatever you want to do I'm going.

Nandini- yes please, you don't need to take any tension, I can handle my kids by myself.

This angered Manik to no extent. He was having his own reasons to go but he was not understanding why she is reacting this way? But he failed to notice how he is not giving any time to myrah which he used to do earlier. That's what is making myrah so upset and Nandini so angry. According to nandini, this man needs to learn to manage his time accordingly.

Manik-(shouting loudly) my kids nandini? Seriously? Just cause I didn't drop myrah for one day, you are reacting like this? When you go to your hospital at odd hours did I ever said anything? When I can understand why can't you dammit?

Hearing his loud shout myrah flinch badly and soon had tears. Looking at her Karan immediately grab her and made her hide in his arms while aarav was patting her head in order to calm her down.

Nandini (in same tone)- oh really? I don't understand? I don't understand when you went to your business tours for days and sometimes even for months? Don't I understand when you come home late somedays?
I fullfill my responsibilities towards this family too Manik, which apparently you don't!

Manik-(glaring) are you saying, I don't do anything for this family?

Seeing argument getting worse karan got up and shouted.

Karan- (loudly) ohh God stop it both of you! No one needs to drop her, I'll drop her and will even pick her up at afternoon.

Saying this he went out angrily with myrah in his arms followed by younger clan. While everyone was shocked to see manan fighting like kids.

Manan too went to their respective work angrily without saying anything.

Navya- what was that? Why Nandini was shouting like this? She could have easily drop myrah na?

Cabir- navya, it was not about dropping myrah, it was about spending time with her. Obviously Nandini would have dropped her if this was the case only but didn't you notice how sad myrah is nowadays? First Karan, then Mukti and all... Manik and Nandini are not spending enough time with her. She is a kid so they used to send her to her friends house so that she won't see all that drama going on but obviously even she needs time na? Nandini just noticed this, she wanted Manik to come with them cause she knew myrah is missing them alot. But yes, she should have explained him or maybe drop myrah by herself atleast myrah would have get little time with one of her parents.

Raj-(angrily) I don't know when they both Will grow up.

In car

Karan was driving with aarav besides him. Myrah was sitting on his lap in driving seat as she was not ready to leave him. Mrudula and aradhya at another row while Diya and Varun at back seat.

Aarav and Karan were hell angry on their parents. They shouldn't have argued like that in front of myrah. They were angry on Manik for not getting how sad myrah is nowadays and for not giving her proper attention and they were angry on nandini cause she knew how upset myrah is, she should have made manik understand later or argues with him later and drop myrah for now. But no! They both decided to act like immature adults.

Myrah was still hiding her face in Karan's waist. She was still sobbing wetting his shirt with her tears which was increasing her both brother's anger.

Aradhya from back signals something to aarav to which he looked at his side and asked karan to stop the car.

Karan-what happened?

Aarav pointed towards one shop and then towards myrah. Karan understood and blinked his eyes.

Aarav-(dramatically) ahhh, I really want to have ice cream before attending that stupid school buddy, you handle this cry baby till then I'll go and grab some icecreammmmmm.

That's it. Myrah and ice creams are like two irreplaceable bond. According to her, more than oxygen ice creams and chocolates are necessary to survive!

Myrah-(coming out from Karan's arms + shouting) I'm not a cry baby temple guy! (Turning towards karan) even I want ice cream bhaiyu.

Her cute pout with Little bit tears in her eyes and red nose made her look so cute that karan just wanted to gobble her up. He took her in his arms and placed a big fat kiss on her cheeks and they all came out to eat ice cream.
