After a week...

Myrah was in her room packing her bag with a smile on her face humming a song when manik walked inside.

Manik-(muttering) how can she be so happy for school?? Nandini 2.0.

Myrah Turned around and saw manik standing there, she walked towards him carrying her bag with a smile on her face.

Manik-(lovingly) let's go?

Myrah-(nodding her head in yes) yeahh, I'm already late.

Manik- come

They both walked downstairs to see everyone sitting at the dining table laughing and talking about something.

Myrah-(hurriedly) maa, I'm late please give me breakfast na.

Nandini-(coming out of Kitchen with a bowl in her hand)  yeah yeah coming.

Aarav was, again and again, nudging karan asking him to speak making him hell irritated.

Cabir-( looking at them) what's going on junior Malhotras?

Aarav-(immediately) dad, karan wants to talk with you.

Karan looked at aarav shockingly but then looked at manik shaking his head in disbelief.

Manik-(confusingly) say Champ

Karan-(looking at manan) maa, papa...me and aarav have decided to join Malhotra industries now.

Everyone turned silent hearing him while happy tears were flowing from nandini and Manik's eyes.

Seeing them both the boys immediately got up and went near manan.

Karan-(dramatically) maa papa promise we won't make you bankrupt yrr, at least give us one chance.

A giggle escapes from their mouth making everyone smile.

Myrah- you need to stay away from this temple guy bhaiyu.

Aarav-(proudly) he is learning from me, good going

Karan rolled his eyes and took nandini in a hug while aarav went and hugged manik.

Karan-(whispering) don't cry beautiful, we are still your babies.

Nandini-(sobbing) when did you both become so big?

Aarav-(wide eyes) ohh please mom we took full 25 years to grow up.

Manik-(laughing)  vo bhi kam par gye tere liye nalayak.

Aarav-(whining) dad yrrr

Karan-(smiling) okay enough, now tell us dad...can we get a job in your company?

Manik-(acting as if he is thinking something) will see, present me your resume at the office.

Myrah-(pouting) if you will go based on resume or skills this temple guy won't even get a job as a peon in your office papa.

Everyone laughs while aarav went and hugged nandini making a bad face.

Nandini-(fake sternly) shh, quiet everyone. Don't tease my loving baby.

Manik-(getting serious) okay so karan you already have office experience isn't?

Karan-(nodding) yeah dad

Manik- cool then you go to the factory today instead of the office and see how things work there and aarav you come with me, I'll help you with smaller projects for now.

Both nodded and then again settled down on the dining table while navya asked looking at varun,diya and aradhya.

Navya-what about you three?

Varun-(eating his sandwich) I'll be joining dad's company from next week.

Diya- I got the job too.

Aradhya- me too

Myrah-(pouting) all of you are getting jobs I'll be so bored at home now.

Aarav- boards aarhe hai na? Padhai kar.

Myrah-(angrily) shut up temple guy!

Diya-(hissing) you guys fight a lot. God!!!!

Myrah/aarav- he/she started.

Everyone rolled their eyes seeing them fighting like kids and continued with their breakfast.

Manik was in his cabin with aarav where aarav was asking necessary Questions from him regarding his work while manik was patiently answering him.

They were hell busy in their discussion when Manik's phone rang.

Manik-(on-call) hello?

Caller- Can I talk with Mr Malhotra?

Manik- speaking

Caller- ...........

Manik-(shockingly) what??? Yeah, I'm coming.

Soon he cut the call and seeing him all worried aarav got up and asked him the reason.

Manik-(hurriedly) it was from Myrah's school. She got  indulge in a big fight. We have to go to school, come.

Aarav-(muttering) shit!

They both came out of their cabin to see karan entering the floor but aarav without saying anything dragged him with him ignoring his Questions.

Karan-(irritatingly) at least tell me where are we going temple guy.

Aarav-(still walking) your "kiddo" had turned into hulk at school today. Now come fast.

Karan was confused but nevertheless, follow them and the trio settled inside the car to reach school.

In principle office

Myrah with 2 other students was standing in the office looking at one boy who was bleeding a little but was looking really mad. She wanted to go near him but he was not even sparing a glance towards her while another boy was looking really scared.

That's when the parents of rahul and manik with karan and aarav entered inside.

Manik- (taking her in a hug) myruh baby are you okay?

Myrah-(cryingly) papaa

Her tears made karan and aarav really worried. They were cool earlier as they thought myrah was indulged in a normal fight but now seeing her crying was making them scared.

(Boy 1- Rahul Kapoor)

(Boy whom myrah was looking at - Ahaan Singhania)

Lady-(worriedly) Rahul beta what happened? Who beat you this much?

Rahul pointed at ahaan who was already glaring at him.

Man-(angrily) how can you hit our son dammit?

Ahaan( dangerously) should I show you?

His this tone made both of them really scared while Malhotra men were shocked seeing his anger.

Principal-(sternly) behave yourself ahaan. Where are your parents?

Ahaan-( Rolling his eyes) I told you they won't come but you didn't listen-

He was cut by a loud voice and they all turned around to see a woman standing there with an irritated look on her face.

She came near ahaan and slapped him tightly making everyone shocked while more tears slipped from Myrah's eyes.

Woman- ( angrily) do you even know how busy I was?? I was in a damn meeting when I got this stupid call and your father forced me to come here. I'm so fed up with you, God!!

Ahaan- (rudely) I didn't ask you to come here. I would have talked with dad, no one wants you here.

Mrs Singhania-(shouting) is this the way you talk with your mother ahaan?

Ahaan-(glaring) you are not my mother. She died years ago and a woman like you can never take her place.

Mrs Singhania was so angry and embarrassed that she raised her hand once again to hit him but stopped listening to myrah's voice.

Myrah-( slowly) please don't hit him, aunty, it's my fault. He fought for me. Rahul was teasing me from the past few days, I thought it's all friendly teasing but today he locked me in a dark room with a rat even after knowing I'm scared of rats for 2 straight periods. Ahaan asked me earlier also to complain against him but I didn't listen to him and today when he locked me in a room ahaan saved me and beat rahul afterwards.

Rahul was scared as hell listening to him while Mrs Singhania rolled her eyes. She was least interested in this drama but she knew if she said a word against myrah, Malhotra's won't leave her and also cause she wants to do business with them.

Mrs Kapoor-(glaring) what is she saying, Rahul? This is what we teach you? To trouble innocent?

Rahul-(looking down) I'm sorry maa. I thought of having fun but I didn't know she will get so scared. I'm sorry myrah, please forgive me.

Mr Kapoor-(angrily) you just wait and watch. I'm gonna ground you for this whole month. ( Turning towards Manik) I'm really sorry Mr Malhotra, please forgive us. I'm really sorry myrah.

Myrah-(slowly) it's okay uncle.

Manik- it's fine Mr Kapoor and rahul make sure you don't do such things with anyone again.

Rahul-(nodding his head in yes)  yes sir, I'm sorry.

Mrs Kapoor- we will take your leave now.

They all come out while kapoors left leaving Malhotras and Singhanias behind.

Karan came forward and hugged ahaan making him smile lightly

Karan- thank you ahaan for Saving myrah.

Ahaan-( giving him slight smile) it's okay bhaiya.

Aarav patted his shoulder while Mrs Singhania made a bad face.

Myrah was continuously looking at ahaan which manik noticed and smiled.

Manik- ahaan, bacha you should come today to our house for dinner. Mrs Singhania, please come with your husband.

Ahaan- It's not needed, sir-

Mrs Singhania-(cutting him+ extra sweetly) yeah yeah sure Mr Malhotra. Ahaan's father is not in the city but me and ahaan will surely come.

Ahaan glares at her but she was least affected. She wants to be in the good books of Malhotras anyhow.

Manik-(smiling) great. Ahaan, do come beta.

Ahaan give him small smile and nodded. He clearly doesn't want to disrespect Manik at all. Myrah always tells him how he and nandini love her so much and he respects both of them a lot. In fact, he wants to be like manik in future as well.

After bidding bye to each other, they all went towards their respective home.

Malhotra's entered inside the house to see Nandini sitting on the couch with neyonika, aradhya and Diya.

Myrah as soon as saw nandini, ran towards her and hugs her tightly making her worried.

Nandini- Janno what happened, baby? Manik? You guys together? What happened??

Aarav- (sighing) ....maa actually...

Then in the next 10 mins, he told Nandini everything including Mrs Singhania hitting ahaan without any reason.
Nandini was so worried about myrah and was feeling bad for ahaan as well but she was happy manik invited them to their house.

Aarav- I don't understand this, ahaan's mother is so weird.

Myrah-(breaking hug) she is not good Bhai, she is his stepmother and loves money only. His mother died in a car accident on his 8 birthday and after that, his dad never talked with him too as he reminds him of her.

Karan-(confusingly) what do you mean?  His dad is mad or what?

Myrah- I know right, I hate his whole family tbh.

No said anything, they all were just feeling bad for that poor soul.

Manik and nandini reached their room after spending some time with everyone.

Manik started removing his coat and shoes while nandini was removing her mess which she created a while ago as she was completing her hospital work.

Nandini-(Still busy working)  manii, what do you think about ahaan?

Manik-(casually) he is a nice boy nandini, myrah and ahaan loves each other.

As soon as manik spoke these words everything fall down from Nandini's hands with a thud making manik turned around worriedly.

He reached near her hurriedly and cupped her face.

Manik-(worriedly) you okay? Are you hurt?

Nandini-(ignoring his Question) what do you mean by ahaan and myrah loves each other?

Manik-(sighing) so what Jaan? Even aarav and Karan were in a relationship at this age. You and me were together when we were 18 and 19 respectively? So what if they love each other?

Nandini-(dramatically) there is absolutely nothing wrong that my daughter loves a guy but there is something wrong with you Malhotra. You are so casual about it?? You hated the idea of myrah being with some other boy and look at you now.

Manik rolled his eyes at his overdramatic wife who was looking so adorable right now with that pout and accusing look in her eyes.

Manik- fineeeee! I would have reacted impulsively if it was some other boy or if I wouldn't have met ahaan. No one told me anything about myrah and ahaan but I saw it today with my own eyes. You know he was looking so mad when we reached there. He was glaring rahul as if he will kill him at this moment only and I guess he was angry at myrah too for not listening to him earlier but the moment myrah started crying bitterly hugging me na, he was all worked up. He was looking in pain as if someone is throwing daggers at his heart.
I think even karan and aarav noticed this but your boys were so mad at rahul, I don't know if they saw anything other than that. 

Nandini-(concerning tone) but manii, what if myrah don't love him back?

Manik-(chuckling) oh my princess is so in love. You should have seen how he was continuously looking at him and also how scared she was when Mrs Singhania hit ahaan. That's the only reason I have called them today for dinner. I absolutely adore that boy nandini but I'm concerned about Mrs Singhania. His father is a good man, I have met him before but this lady is really evil. What if she hurt our Princess?

Nandini-(smiling) our princess is no less than a warrior when needed and if you are right about ahaan and myrah then I'm pretty sure ahaan will always be there for her as well.

Manik- (muttering) I hope so. I don't want anything to hurt my baby. I'm going to get more info about ahaan as well.
