"How I wish to return to the day I first met you..."

"He did it!" Jae-hwa said, pointing at Taehyung as soon as he came outside, still smirking, obviously content and not even attempting at hiding it.

Neither Kyung-mi or Yoongi were anywhere to be seen.

The police chief immediately looked to Taehyung. "This would be the last straw, Kim Taehyung." He sighed, shaking his head. "Can't say I'm surprised."

Taehyung felt his breathing get quick and his heart pound. No, I didn't start it, I was only...I was... Hana had been standing beside him, and he felt her grab his hand, weaving her soft, warm fingers with his.

"Bullsh*t!" Jimin yelled, coming out of the crowd of students that seemed terribly silent considering how loud they were not so long ago. "Yoongi was going around assaulting people, he's not even supposed to be on school grounds! And You're going to let that slide?!"

The police chief was in the middle of taking out handcuffs, "My job isn't to investigate, unless you have some sort of way to--"

Jimin balled his fists, his hands shaking, Jimin was going to punch the Police chief if this kept on, and the chief seemed to plainly see that. Jimin, please don't. You'll make it worse...

"Kim Taehyung, answer me one question," The police chief started, looking away from Jimin. "Did you, or did you not, participate in a fight and take a swing at someone?"

Taehyung licked his lips, looking to the ground. "I...I did." I'm scared. You're going to take this the wrong way, I don't want to go back, I don't want you to shove me in the back of that patrol car, I don't want to cry anymore.

"Then you're coming with me. It's as Simple as that."

"Wait!" Jungkook started, grabbing Taehyung's arm. "You can't do that, just send him to the principal's office, just let him get detention, but don't take him away, you don't have to take him away!"

The Police Chief was quiet, staring at Jungkook evenly, but Jae-hwa smiled. "It's not their jurisdiction, maybe you didn't read your precious boyfriend's paperwork, but in the event of an act of insanity or violence, temporary or otherwise, the Principal can't decide the punishment or the action taken." Jae-hwa pouted. "Sorry, baby-face."

Jungkook took a series of deep breaths, then Taehyung saw him bite his lip, "Jae-hwa...I'm going to f*cking beat the sh*t out of you." Taehyung was surprised how calmly he said it, but even more surprised when he grabbed a hold of Jae-hwa's collar.

Jae-hwa shrieked, sounding akin to a pig and there was nothing even remotely cute about it. The Police Chief immediately took hold of Jungkook, grabbing at his fists when he tried to punch Jae-hwa.

Jungkook, please don't, please...I don't want you to get in trouble too, I don't want him to put you in handcuffs. Not because of stupid Jae-hwa, not because she knows about....

"Kid, I'll arrest you, don't push my buttons..." The police chief warned, pulling Jungkook away from Jae-hwa.

Jungkook huffed, taking short, loud breaths, his hands in fists and shaking. "Don't talk about Taehyung like that, in fact, don't say anything, just glue your mouth shut, because you've never felt anything in that ice you call a heart, your b*tchy ass shouldn't say a goddamn thing to someone who has one." Jungkook's voice was shaking, he was on the verge of crying, but Taehyung didn't even really notice until he saw how much his lip was trembling, how much his eyes glistened.

Jae-hwa didn't touch you, but she hurt you. Why can she do that? Why does she get away with it?

By the time Taehyung looked up, the police chief was in front of him, and he felt a tear roll down his cheek. I want Jae-hwa to disappear, I want everyone to be happy.

"Taehyung, You're coming with me, whether you like it or not."

Taehyung absently felt Hana grab hold of his arm, holding him tight. He bit his lip. He'd gotten what he wanted, right? Someone cared about him, someone loved him...They did all that for him.

"And who gave you permission to take him anywhere?!" Jimin yelled, not able to keep it under wraps like Jungkook could.

The police chief was going to say something, but Taehyung spoke before he could. "Jimin, it's okay... I'll be okay..."

Jimin frowned and shook his head, "Taehyung, don't lie to me, I know how scared you are, don't you dare lie to me--."

"I'm not--."

"Would you stop lying?! You're not helping anything!" Jimin Looked like he wanted to punch Taehyung, like he wanted to slap an ounce of sense into him, and he couldn't deny that he needed an ounce of sense. "Taehyung, damn it, you didn't do anything wrong!"

It's not okay. I've been telling myself that I'm okay, that it'll be okay, all I ever do is run, run from reality, run from the truth, run from what I don't like, that's all I've ever done.

Taehyung felt his eyes start to sting from the beginnings of tears threatening to spill out, but he gently made Hana let go of him, though she held on to his arm like she didn't ever want to let go, he managed to somehow silently convince her to release her grip, giving her a kiss on her forehead, to which she blushed. And normally he would have cared that practically everyone was looking, but he wanted her to know it was alright. Don't worry, it won't be that bad. What can he do, it was just a school fight. Then he took a step toward the Police chief.

The Police chief only ever seemed to have a look of distain on his face when he looked at Taehyung, but this time he looked back with one that seemed more confused then anything else. But after a second, he took Taehyung by the arm roughly and led him toward the patrol car.

Though he was practically going willingly, The police chief still slammed him into the side of the patrol car, "Don't forget, you're still a murderer in my eyes, you pull any sh*t and a piece of paper can't stop me from arresting you."

Taehyung looked over at him, that nervous, terrible, scared feeling was bubbling up in his stomach. But if I resist, it'll make it worse, if I act like I didn't do anything, they'll take it as a lie. I just want to get this over with.

~~~
They made him sit by the one or two holding cells they had at the Police station, just making him sit on the outside of it, on the opposite side, facing the cells. It felt like they were trying to guilt trip him into doing something. He wasn't sure what, so he sat with his hands in his lap, just staring at his fingers.
He'd figured out on the ride there that they were only bringing him to the station so he couldn't run away. Because they called that doctor.
That doctor that he hated, that he wanted to go back to hell, that wanted to stuff him with pills all the time--was going to come into the room soon, and he wasn't read to see him. He didn't ever want to see him again.
When someone came around the corner, Taehyung's heart hammered against his ribcage like a rapid drum beat. But when he looked up, he almost sighed in relief, because in the doorway, disheveled and with a worried expression, was Mrs. Park. She looked like she'd just come flying down the road from work.
She grabbed Taehyung and hugged him, not saying anything at first. Taehyung hugged her back. Eomma, I didn't mean that, it was just...I was scared, Yoongi was... He wished he could find his voice to say that, but his mouth felt as dry as sandpaper, and his lips like he'd glued them shut.
"Jimin told me... I understand why, I don't condone violence, but..." Mrs. Park left it at that, just rubbing his back, quiet, and probably thinking over the situation, "Taehyung, It'll be okay..."
Taehyung hugged her back, look down at the floor from over her shoulder. He believed the likelihood of it being okay was starting to get less and less likely, even he could see that now, and he felt it wasn't just him being negative.
Taehyung looked up, and what he saw made his heart stop, and he back-pedaled out of the hug faster then he thought he could and faster then he wanted to. Then his heart went from absolutely still to beating out such a frantic fast rhythm that he could barely tell the difference between beats and it felt like a constant beat.
He fell back into the seat, looking up at Mrs. Park. She was biting her lip, not looking back at Taehyung. Why aren't you...? Eomma? Why is...? I'm so stupid, I'm so stupid. I thought...
"I had to bring him, honey, please don't be mad, I had to..." Mrs. Park was saying.
Taehyung barely heard it, his eyes were locked onto the man behind her. He'd known he was coming, but Mrs. Park being the one to bring him, Taehyung didn't know what to think.
"Hello, Kim Taehyung, it's been a while, we've missed you back at the hospital." The Doctor said, smiling. He looked Taehyung up and down. "You've gained weight...and a tad more emotion then is necessary..."
Taehyung felt his whole body shiver. I hate you, I hate you, I hate you, I hate you! Go away, Go away!
A/N:
Everytime I write, "the doctor" I think David Tennant, and just .... No, just no. If you want to put a face to it, don't do what I did and imagine David Tennant O_O
ANYWAYS. I'd like to apologize for me being lame and not updating in forever, I've been dealing with a lot of crap, and this book takes the longest for me to update because it's nearing it's end, and I'm trying to get everything to make sense before it does. Does that make sense? *plays that song *
Hahaha~ ^^"
