"You shine so brightly, so perfect in every way. To me you're so beautiful, I want you. Just the way you are, you're the only one."

At school the next day, when Taehyung opened his locker, a whole bunch of paper fell out. Most of it smelling like perfume. When Taehyung bent down to collect all the paper, Jimin sighed.

"Do you know what those are, at least? Mr. Sexy-with-endless-admirers?"

Taehyung kept picking up all the paper, getting it into a neat stack. Then he looked up at Jimin. "No, what are they?"

"Love notes." Jimin said simply.

Love notes? Why? No one's even talked to me... Wouldn't they buy into what Jae-hwa said? Like everyone else did? He took a look through the one on top, addressed to him with little hearts all around his name. "But they don't even..."

Jimin shrugged. "Girls are like that, they're probably just a bunch of notes saying they want to hang out with you or something. You don't have to read them..." Jimin drifted off, seeing that Taehyung was already reading them. "Dude, I thought you liked Hana."

"I do." Taehyung said, still reading, "But they wrote it for me to read." He didn't want to outright ignore anyone. He knew what it was like to be ignored, to have no one care, the way it hurt.

Jimin knelt down with Taehyung. "You're going to lead them on if you do that."

"No, I'm...not..." Taehyung stopped at a note with Hana's name on it. It didn't have any hearts on it, just a dozen smiley faces.

Kim Taehyung-ssi =)

My mom wants you to come over for cookies. You don't have to, but I also wanted to thank you for...everything =)

-Lee Hana

"Ooh, got something from Hana? She tell you how irresistible you are to her?" Jimin asked.

Taehyung shook his head, Still looking at her hand writing. "She...wants me to come over for cookies..." Taehyung couldn't say he understood why her mom would want that, or even why Hana wanted to thank him. He hadn't done anything. Jae-hwa still picked on her, and if Yoongi was around, he wouldn't let him stand up to her without beating him.

"Sounds like a play date, want me to text Eomma and let her know?" Jimin asked, already taking out his phone.

It had only been less then 24 hours, but since Mrs. Park had told him they planned on adopting him, Jimin referred to his mom like she was Taehyung's mom too, and it made Taehyung almost uncomfortable in a way. That word means a lot, I can't...not yet...not yet. "...Yeah, you can tell her..."

Jimin made kissy faces before standing up and sending the text. Taehyung took the remainder of the letters and notes and put them back in his locker. He could read the rest later.

"Whatcha doin'?" Jungkook asked, running up and getting kind of close kind of suddenly when his shoes skidded and he couldn't stop. Taehyung heard a teacher scold him and he bowed, apologizing, then turning back to Taehyung, his hair styled at a 3/4 part line today. "Ah, have the letters rained in already?"

Taehyung absently nodded, trying to get them to fit back in without falling out. He couldn't understand what any of these girls saw in him. Not at all.

"Well, you're cute, didn't you get all these before?" Jungkook asked.

"Before?" Before... He could remember being at an orphanage, everyone thinking he wasn't right in the head, because he was overly excited, overly happy. It scared them. Because he was the freak whose parents actually didn't want him. Everyone else's parents had died, or were deemed unfit. When Jae-hwa and her dad had adopted him, every one at the school had just made fun of him. No one had ever put letters in his locker unless they were to tell him he was better off dead.

"Taehyung, you should wear cologne." Jimin said before Jungkook could say anything else. "Kookie, you got cologne?"

Jungkook raised an eyebrow. "I don't know, maybe, I guess? Why? What's he need cologne for?"

Jimin grinned big, giving Taehyung a little push. "This guy got a date with Hana, absolute one on one time if he's lucky, and he'll probably be lucky. He should smell nice, right?" Jimin pointed to Taehyung's neck. "Right here especially, right? That way she can bury her face in--"

"Ah..! J-Jimin...!" Taehyung succeeded in closing the locker without everything spilling out, but now he could feel his face heating up. "Cookies...I'm going over for cookies..." That was all it was, that was it.

At lunch Hana sat with them again. Teaching sign language in between bites. every sign she did was too fast, and she slowed it down, Taehyung imagined he was giving her a mostly blank expression, his mouth hanging open a little as she would explain what each sign meant.

After lunch and during class, he kept thinking about what Hana had taught him rather then what the teacher was trying to teach him. He heard snippets of what he was talking about, watching him walk back and forth, writing things on the chalk board, but he wasn't listening. He read whatever was on the board in a absent sort of half dreaming sort of way.

When class was over, Hana got up right away and grabbed Taehyung's hand, not letting him be one of the last out, and being one of the first. Jae-hwa didn't look happy, and Taehyung wondered if that was why Hana usually stayed. Was it because Jae-hwa told her to? That she said she'd do something bad? Taehyung didn't like how Jae-hwa frowned like Hana shouldn't have done that. Hana's an angel, she doesn't belong to anyone.

But the way Hana smiled, he couldn't pay attention to Jae-hwa for long, her smile was too sincere, she was so excited. I'm not special, you keep acting like I am, I'm not.

After saying a quick goodbye to Jimin and Jungkook, Jimin smirking and Jungkook raising his eyebrows, Hana pulled Taehyung outside to wait by the curb for her mom to drive up. When Hana stopped pulling, Taehyung looked down the street, then glanced at Hana.

He tapped her shoulder, "Hana-ssi, is your house far?"

Hana shook her head using her thumb and forefinger to illustrate the distance, which wasn't more then an inch between her fingers.

"We could walk." He suggested, since she seemed kind of impatient.

Hana's eyes widened, then she shook her head quick, ending looking down at her feet.

Hana, you look so sad... Taehyung bit his lip. He didn't know what to do. He couldn't even think of anything that would make the thought of walking to her house something that depressed her. I wish I understood you better, Hana. He licked his lips. He wondered if it was hard to understand her because she was deaf and didn't speak, or because she was a girl, and he didn't know how to act around her.

It was an absolutely silent wait for Hana's mom, but when she pulled up, in the same car she had yesterday, Hana smiled. Then took her seat in the front. So Taehyung just climbed into the backseat. The interior of the car smelled new, and the seats were nice. Hana's mother drove a nice car.

Mrs. Lee looked over her shoulder and smiled at Taehyung. "You're awful quiet."

Taehyung licked his lips nodding, "Ah... Hello." He started, realizing he hadn't even said that. "Thanks for inviting me over."

Mrs. Lee frowned then looked from Hana to Taehyung. "Is that what she told you? I thought she'd have the courage to tell you if she woke up at 4AM to bake cookies."

Hana gave her mom a slap to the shoulder, then hung her head low. You did that for me, Hana? Why didn't you just tell me? The thought of Hana baking made his heart constrict in his chest. And he couldn't say he minded.

"Isn't she cute?" Mrs. Lee giggled, before turning back front and pulling away from the curb. "Did you know you're the first boy she's ever invited over?"

The first? Taehyung blushed. Hana... If he was honest with himself, this was the first time he'd been invited to a girl's house. Not a girl, a lady, an angel.

Probably seeing that she'd embarrassed the two people in the car, Hana's mom didn't say anything else, but smiled big. Nudging Hana every once in a while.

Hana was right though, her house wasn't far at all. And it was a cute little house, only one level, but a charming little white house with a porch and a little wood porch swing. The walkway to the steps onto the porch was straight, going right from the sidewalk to the house in a perfect line. The lawn had a short tree surrounded by little flowers, the tree's leaves were purple in color. The whole lawn surrounded with a hedge.

Taehyung got out of the car, and was immediately pulled along by Hana again. Her hand was warm in his, and he could hear her mom giggling behind them as Hana pulled him toward the front door.

When they got there, she didn't have to knock or even wait for her mother to open it, the door opened almost before they got there, and Hana was scooped up by the man who had opened the door, letting go of Taehyung's hand so he didn't get dragged along as the man spun her around once before setting her down.

Must be her father. Hana's father... He hadn't even thought of that before. Maybe it was because Jimin didn't seem to have a father. Well, of course he had one, but he wasn't there. Taehyung hadn't asked, he didn't want to upset anyone with the situation being as fragile as it was. He wouldn't ask. But he didn't see him in any of the pictures that were out. Maybe he'd died. Maybe he'd left. But he knew Mrs. Park wore a wedding ring, so she was married at one point.

Hana's dad kissed his daughter's forehead, and Taehyung couldn't say he didn't feel a little jealous. He was glad Hana had a family, she deserved one, especially one that loved her, but it reminded him of the family he didn't have, the family that just left him by choice.

It's okay, It's okay, Mrs. Park said she would adopt me, didn't she?

"And who's this?" Hana's father asked, clearing his throat when he saw Taehyung. "Orange hair...kids these days."

"Kim Taehyung." Taehyung said, bowing. "I'm glad to meet you."

Mrs. Lee jumped in, "You know, I was telling you this afternoon about how Hana wanted to invite the boy over who'd made her smile." She paused to kiss her husband's cheek.

Hana's father gave Taehyung a long look, staring him down, squinting. Since he had this long to look, Taehyung noticed how professional her father's clothes were, though he'd taken the jacket of the suit off and loosened the tie, Taehyung could still tell he worked in an office.

"Taehyung, thank you." Her father started, then sighed. "Now that that's out of the way, if you plan on hurting Hana in anyway, there will be hell to pay, if you're using or trying to hurt my princess, I'll be hell on earth." He squinted. "The deepest pit of hell."

I could never. I wouldn't ever. Taehyung licked his lips then nodded. "I understand. I won't."

Her father seemed content with that, taking a step back and smiling at Hana before she could grab his hand again. Because when she did, she pulled him into the house. Why do you keep touching me so much?

I like it, but why are you doing it?

The first room was the living room, which Hana didn't give Taehyung time to see before she pulled him straight across it and to the kitchen. The kitchen wasn't all that big. it was a decent size to not be crowded in, but there wasn't a space for a dining table like there was in the Park's house. But the kitchen had a cute feel to it, decorated with a light green and pink. it almost looked like a candy shop in some spaces.

Hana let go of his hand, opening the fridge and reaching in to get something. Taehyung peeked around the door and looked in to see what she was trying to get. She was trying to reach in and get a tray of cookies. But the tray was too big for her to grab one handed, though it looked like she was going to try.

Taehyung frowned, "Hana-ssi..." He started, she wasn't looking, so he made his way around the door, leaning down next to her until she saw him, she looked like she was intensely thinking of how to get the tray out. You're cute when you pout, Hana. "Ah, I'll get it, Hana-ssi, don't hurt yourself." Don't hurt yourself?

Hana smiled, then looked away before stepping out of the way. Taehyung hadn't realized at all that he'd put his face so close to hers until then. He'd made her blush again. I'm sorry, Hana. He reached in the fridge and lifted out the tray of cookies.

It was considerably heavier then he thought it would be, so he held it with two hands. Hana baked at least four dozen cookies, probably more, it was more then enough, and really, there wasn't any way that Taehyung would have more then five.

Hana closed the fridge door, and pointed back toward the living room, then put her hand to her chin before angling it toward him. If he remembered correctly, since Hana had showed him that sign, that was 'Thank you'.

Taehyung took the tray of cookies out of the kitchen. The tray itself was cute, covered in multi-colored polka-dots. and the cookies were chocolate chip, and they looked really good. Hana followed him out of the kitchen, then instructed him to put the tray on a table to the side of the couch, since the only thing in front of it was an ottoman.

The living room was mostly open space, really, there was the white couch, the matching ottoman, a reclining chair, and the TV that was across from that. That, and little tables to the side of either side of the couch. Over next to the doorway to the kitchen was a table with a few chairs around it and a jigsaw puzzle laid on top. Behind the TV was a hallway, which was probably bedrooms and such. The carpet was ornate, and the walls had striped wallpaper, but it was a charming room.

When Taehyung set the cookies down, Hana's mom was already sitting on the couch, twirling a lock of hair around her finger. "So what are you guys going to do?"

Hana responded with a string of sign language that went by too fast for Taehyung to register. and her mother smiled and replied with another string of sign language.

"Sounds fun." She laughed. "I'll take it you want me to leave then?"

Hana blushed, then nodded.

Mrs. Lee put her hands up in surrender. "Don't act so excited about it, Hana, you'll make him blush too." She winked at Taehyung. "Oh! Too late!"

Taehyung put a hand to his cheek. It did feel a little warm. Not so much embarrassed, but the thought that Hana wanted to be around him at all made him warm inside. He wasn't used to the feeling at all. You want to be around me? But I'm... Didn't you hear what I did?

"Cute." Mrs. Lee said, getting up. "Let me know if you need anything, I'll be doing the laundry, ok?"

Hana nodded, and as her mom left the room, she grabbed a cookie off the tray and held it toward Taehyung's face.

His first thought was just to bite it, but thought about it, and took it with his hands and sticking it in his mouth himself. Hana giggled. Her giggle was quiet for the most part, probably because she couldn't hear herself and didn't use her voice often. But either way, her face lit up and Taehyung's heart skipped.

"Hmm?" He mumbled, his mouth still full of cookie.

Hana pointed to her cheeks, puffing them out, then pointing to Taehyung, giggling more, then mouthing a word. It took Hana a few tries with the word before he understood.

"Chipmunk?" He asked, having swallowed the cookie.

Hana nodded, then pulled Taehyung to sit on the couch, holding up a finger to go get something.

Taehyung watched her go. People had laughed at him before, usually in some way that they were making fun of him, and it always made him feel bad, because they never laughed when he was trying to make them laugh. But when Hana did it...

Taehyung giggled, realizing how silly he had probably looked shoving the whole cookie in his mouth. At the moment, he didn't so much care about his deep sounding giggle, or even his weird boxy smile. I want to make Hana laugh more.

A/N: There was no way on earth I could make this chapter short. And the fluff continues next chapter too xD

I keep imagining Hana's mom just sitting in the laundry room just cracking up because of this amount of cute. Like seriously, I keep picturing her just sitting in there, laughing hysterically.

I'm going to go ahead and dedicate this to miss Luvonlykpop4 Why? Because she's Taehyung's wifeu~ lolol, and she's really cute~ and a great person who deserves three billion hugs, and a bucket full of ice cream and cakey cake~ *Hugs* Dongsaeng, if you're ever upset, just remember it gets better, ok? There's peeps who care a lot <33 ^-^

My second choice for a song was "Body" by Taeyang, but then I was like.... e.O maybe naaah, that'd be awkward xDD
