Natasha looked outside the window of her new office. It wasn't far away from Rogers Enterprises, so she could visit Steve sometimes.

Natasha felt arms wrap around her and a kiss on her cheek.

"It's a great view." Steve says

"I know you're looking at me." Natasha says and walked to her desk to order some papers.

"Wauw, my mom gave you a lot of work on your first day." Steve says

"Well I need to take care of this whole building, people got questions about things and I have to answer them or send them to Sarah." Natasha says

"So you're like the highest ranked person in this building?" Steve says

"Yes." Natasha says

"Seems like were finally at the same rank." Steve says and turned Natasha around.

She leaned against her desk and wrapped her arms around Steve's neck while his rested on her waist.

"You deserve it, Nat. You finally got the job you wanted." Steve says

"But at a different company." Natasha says

"I know, but my mom thinks you can do it and I know you can. Your dad will soon probably realize he should've picked you for the job." Steve says

"I don't even care about his business anymore, it can fall apart. I'm happy here." Natasha says

Steve started to smile at what she just said, he kissed her lips and pressed her against the desk.

The kiss turned into a make out session leaving them both breathless, but they didn't pull away. They did pull away when someone cleared their throat.

"I'm clearly interrupting something." Maria says

"Maria, hi." Natasha says and turned around in Steve's arms to see her best friend.

"I'll just go." Steve says and kissed Natasha's head.

"Okay." Natasha says disappointed.

"I'll make you dinner tonight to celebrate." Steve says and leaned closer to ear. "Wear something nice."

He kissed her cheek and she started to blush. Steve walked out of her office and shut the door behind them. Natasha fell in her chair and sighed.

"What was that?" Maria asks

"What was what?" Natasha asks

"That kiss." Maria says and sat down in one of the chairs across Natasha.

"It was just a kiss." Natasha says

"I never saw you kiss someone like that before." Maria says

"Maybe because it's fake." Natasha says

"No, that was real." Maria says, "You really do like him."

"Maria." Natasha says

"Natasha." Maria says

"Okay, fine, maybe." Natasha says

"Maybe? Natasha this is Steve Rogers, do you like him or not?" Maria asks

"I don't know." Natasha says, "He's really cute and gentle, he opens doors for me and gives me flowers, and when I was sick last week he took care of me."

"Are you happy?" Maria asks

"Yes." Natasha says and put her face in her hands. "I really like him."

"What are you gonna do?" Maria asks

"Just keep dating him, I guess. I mean he likes me too." Natasha says

"Or he is doing the same thing you did. Remember all those years ago?" Maria says

"He changed. He isn't the person he was back then." Natasha says

"I'm just saying that he can be manipulative." Maria says

"Well he isn't anymore." Natasha says

"Just be careful." Maria says

"I am." Natasha says

"I know, I just don't want to see you get hurt." Maria says

"I know you don't want me to get hurt, but I'll be fine. I can take care of myself." Natasha says

"Okay, then I won't bother you anymore about him." Maria says

"Good." Natasha says, "Now if you'll excuse me, I have some work to do.

Maria nodded and got up. She left Natasha's office without saying a word.

Natasha walked around in the shopping mall trying to find something to wear tonight. She already found a good dress, she just wanted some new lingerie to suprise Steve.

Natasha finally found a store and walked inside. She picked out a black set and a white one since she couldn't choose. She walked to the changing rooms and picked out a stall, she shut the curtain and started to get changed.

The black set fitted more with the black dress she picked out for dinner. She would just use the white one on another occasion.

While Natasha was putting on her own clothes she heard girls talk outside the changing rooms. Natasha did regonize the voices, but couldn't put a face with it.

Natasha opened the curtain and grabbed her belongings. Then she saw who the girls were.

"Wanda?" Natasha says

"Nat, umh, hi." Wanda says

With Wanda she saw Pepper, Maria, Jane and Darcy.

"So you guys are always complaining about how I spend all my time with Steve while you don't even invite me to things." Natasha says and crossed her arms over her chest.

"We thought you were working." Pepper says

"I finish at 5pm, but you could've known that if you would ask." Natasha says and walked away.

Natasha quickly paid and left the mall. Once she sat inside her car she started to cry. Even as a grown up she can still get hurt by her friends.

Steve just finished putting the steaks in the pan. He pulled out his phone and called someone.

"Hey Phil. Set up a meeting with Fury, I think we can start negotiations." Steve says

"Of course." Phil says

"Great." Steve says

Steve heard the front door open and Natasha walked inside.

"I gotta go, we'll talk tomorrow." Steve says and hung up.

"You could finish your phone call if you want, I have to get changed anyways." Natasha says

"It's fine, I'll talk to him tomorrow." Steve says

"Okay, well I'm just gonna get changed, I'll be right back." Natasha says and kissed his cheek.

"Okay." Steve says and focused on the food again.
