"You look stunning, Nat." Steve says and wrapped his arms around her waist.

Natasha looked in the mirror and saw Steve grabbing something from the table. Steve put the necklace he bought her around her neck.

"Now it's perfect." Steve says and kissed her neck.

"You're wearing your watch." Natasha says

"Of course." Steve says and turned her around. "Ready for our parents to meet?"

"No." Natasha says and Steve smiled at her.

Steve pecked her lips and led her hold his arm. The two walked downstairs and sat down with Steve's parents.

"Mr Rogers, the Romanoff's are here." A maid says

"Bring them over here." Steve says

"As you wish." The maid says and walked away.

A while later the family approached the table.

"Natasha!" Yelena says

"Hi." Natasha says

"You look beautiful sweetie." Melina says and gave her daughter a hug. "And happy birthday Steve."

"Thank you mrs Romanoff." Steve says

"Call me Melina." Melina says

"You still have to call me mr Romanoff." Alexei says

"Dad." Natasha hissed

"It's good to finally meet you all." Melina says

"It's nice to meet you too." Sarah says

"Have a seat." Joseph says

Dinner went great, they talked about Natasha and Steve their vacation and other things. After dinner guests started to arrive, Natasha made small talk with her friends while Steve said hi to everyone.

In the corner of Steve's eye he saw Peggy and Sharon entering, Peggy was wearing a silver colored glitter dress, so it was hard not to see her.

Steve quickly ran into another direction, he made his way through the crowd to find Yelena eating food.

"I need your help." Steve says

"I won't help you propose to Nat, you two haven't been dating for that long." Yelena says and put a piece of chocolate in her mouth.

"What? No. Not that." Steve says, "My ex is here and I need you to keep Natasha away from her at all cost."

"Why?" Yelena asks and sipped her champagne.

"My parents really like her and she is evil." Steve says

"If she's evil, why do you parents like her?" Yelena says

"It's complicated, please just keep Natasha away from her." Steve says

"Fine, but I want something in return." Yelena says

"What do you want?" Steve asks

"Four boxes of this amazing chocolate." Yelena says and pointed at the table.

"That's all you want? Sure." Steve says, "Thank you."

The house was getting more crowded with the minute, Steve had to say hi to everyone and received birthday wishes while he was looking over almost everyone to see Peggy and Natasha. Till now they were far apart and he saw Yelena dragging Natasha to the opposite direction of Peggy the whole time.

"Happy birthday, Steve." Thor says

"Thank you, Thor." Steve says

Steve looked at the smaller woman beside him, she looked familiar, but he couldn't put a name to her.

"I don't believe we have met." Steve says

"Oh, right, I'm Jane Foster." Jane says and held out her hand.

"Steve Rogers." Steve says and shook her hand. "Your name sounds familiar."

"Jane works at the Daily Bugle." Thor says

"Right! You wrote that article about Natasha, I loved it." Steve says

"You did? Thank you. It was one of my bigger jobs for the first time." Jane says

"You did amazing." Steve says

"So, about Natasha, how are you two?" Thor asks while sipping his beer.

"We're great, the best, our parents met and we went on vacation together, so you know, normal dating stuff." Steve says

"From what Thor told me, I never pictured you as a guy who would settle down." Jane says

"Me either." Steve says

Meanwhile across the room Natasha was dragged to the other side again.

"I just wanna see Steve, it's his birthday party and I'm his girlfriend." Natasha says

"Well I'm your sister and we're getting a drink." Yelena says

"And you have to stop pulling me, you're breaking my feet." Natasha says

"Have a drink, it solves everything." Yelena says and tossed her vodka shot into her troat.

"You seem on edge all night, what's wrong?" Natasha asks

"Nothing." Yelena says

"Is it Steve?" Natasha asks

"Nope." Yelena says

"Then what is it?" Natasha asked

"Just avoiding someone." Yelena says

"Who?" Natasha asked

Then Yelena heard that British accent laughing at something Sarah said.

"Oh, boy." Yelena says under her breath.

"Oh, Peggy, you were always our favorite girl Steve brought home. You haven't changed a bit." Sarah says

"Well I just wanted to make his parents happy beside him too." Peggy says and Steve's parents laughed.

"What the hell?" Natasha asks as she turned around nearly crushing the cristal champagne glass she was holding.

"Natasha." Sarah says

"Oh, so you're his new girl." Peggy says

"Who are you?" Natasha asks

"Nat, I see chocolate, let's go." Yelena says and grabbed Natasha's hand but she pulled it away.

"Again, who are you?" Natasha asks

"I'm Steve's first girlfriend. Guess he never told you about me, you would probably be too jealous." Peggy says

"I will never in my life be jealous at someone like you, you and Steve probably had a good reason why you broke up." Natasha says

"He didn't, dear, he just left her one day and became what he was before you." Sarah says

"Right." Natasha says

"Hey, Tasha, wanna get chocolate?" Steve says and wrapped his arms around her waist and kissed her cheek.

"What is it with everyone and god damn chocolate tonight!" Natasha says

"You look tense, maybe you should go to bed." Steve says

"Get off of me!" Natasha says and pushed him away, almost everyone was quiet and looking them.

"What's wrong?" Steve asks

"What's wrong? Really? Don't act dumb with me Steven!" Natasha says

"Steven? Oh, that's not good." Yelena says and took another shot of vodka.

"You invited your ex-girlfriend and didn't bother to tell me! If you we're committed to me you would've told me." Natasha says

"I didn't invite her, my assistant is her cousin and she basically invited herself." Steve says

"Well you knew and didn't send her away." Natasha says

"Look, Natasha, I understand you're mad." Peggy says, "I mean it's not nice to hear you're always second, even from the parents of your boyfriend who don't think you're their favorite."

"You better shut your mouth." Natasha says

"You're unemployed, a little rich girl who has a big business man for a boyfriend, you haven't accomplished anything. Right now, tonight, you're his little trophy girlfriend." Peggy says and stepped closer to Natasha. "I suggest you take a drink, go to bed, and call it a day."

"I can see why Steve broke up with you, you're nothing more than someone who thinks they know best." Natasha says, "You know absolutely nothing about me or my relationship with Steve. So my suggestion is that you leave now before I use my martial arts on you."

"Fine, but just know you'll be second no matter where you go." Peggy says and grabbed her purse.

She and Sharon walked out of the house and Steve tried to grab Natasha's hand.

"Don't touch me." Natasha says and pulled it away.

The band started to play again and everyone forgot what just happened, but not Natasha. She walked outside and sat down on a bench beside the lake.

"Steve, can you please tell her we're sorry." Joseph says

"I'll try." Steve says, "But why did you even say that? Peggy is a horrible person, she plays with minds."

"Well we always liked her, she was nothing like Natasha, Peggy was so helpful in everything." Sarah says

"Well at least Natasha didn't cheat on me." Steve says and finally revealed the reason why he broke up with Peggy.

"She what?" Joseph says

"I'm gonna go to Natasha, have a lovely evening." Steve says

A long chapter filled with drama for Steve's bday! I actually wanted to post this sooner, but today is Steve Rogers his bday, so why not?

Also I really like Peggy in the mcu, but I have to create drama in this story, I hope you liked the drama since I'm bad at writing it.
