Chapter 8
"You did WHAT?" I asked incredulously.
"I brought along a guy I like, OK? He insisted," Olivia told me.
"I still can't believe it. Your parents wanted you to marry some Italian prince that you obviously don't like, and you tell them you like his assistant!?" I reprimanded.
"I'm sorry OK? Where's Alice? I thought she would appear by now," Olivia changed the subject.
I'm here. Who is this?
"His name is William." Olivia announces, "He's came with me and he's not going to leave."
Why did you not tell us of this?
"Because she didn't know he was coming." I remark sarcastically.
Olivia leaves to go discuss things with her suitor. I am partly upset because I am jealous. Why don't I have somebody like that? Somebody that will love me no matter who I am. I watch William argue with her. He looks so sweet and determined.
Your sisters will always love you. You have not found the one yet. But do not think about such trivial matters, I need to discuss something with you.
What is it Alice? I ask in my head, remembering that I don't need to talk in order for her to hear me.
I fear something is happening to the world in which I live in. The grand ghost mother is desperate for you to bring her up to the surface. And something else. The king told no one about me. Yet the fairy knew. She knew, and that is what troubles me.
Wait, you guys have a leader called the grand ghost mother?
Yes, but that is beside the point.
Ok, alright. I'll think of your grand ghost mother, if it makes you feel any better.
"Um, Hi... I'm William, I just wanted to say that I'm sorry..." Olivia's boyfriend came up hesitantly and told us.
"It's alright. We've decided you can stay," I say. He looks visibly relieved. "You don't seem like a suspicious sort, but just so you know, we can do some pretty devastating things. So don't try anything funny," I warned him, knowing we could do nothing.
Olivia started walking up to us hopefully. William turned and embraced her. When he finished, she came over to us.
"So what's the plan?" she asked bravely.
"Well, I hadn't thought to come up with a plan, you know, you never told us we were leaving." I responded hotly. Olivia looked shocked.
Lelia! Do not treat your fellow sister this way!
I sprang back at her sharp retort. "Sorry Alice," I muttered.
I am not the one you need to apologize too.
"Sorry Olivia, I'm just..." I broke off, sniffling. How has this happened too me? I used to be able to endure a beating from the Blacksmith's son, and now I am reduced to tears after a simple reprimand? I must be going soft.
A/N: Hey! this is all I have so far. Any ideas? cause I've got none!
