Chapter 2
Alice It said.
"My sister?" I must have said it out loud, because Olivia looked up.
"Do you think we could be sisters? I think we might be... We look almost exactly alike..." she said slowly.
Yes, All sisters. We looked up in astonishment. There was a third girl here, a girl with violet-blue eyes, a girl just like us.
"Hi Alice," I squeak.
"Alice?!" Olivia yelled, "But you're dead! Didn't you just say she was dead?"
That's right sis. I was buried right over there, beneath the cherry blossom tree. The blossoms on the ground really do look like snow. She wavered. This is my first time APPEARING.
Olivia's eyes were big blue pools of wonder. "Can ghosts do magic?" she asked. Alice smiled.
A little bit.
"Can you see into the past?" I ask.
yes. we can travel into the past, but Future, we only see hazy glimpses. Alice explained.
"I'd like to see why we were separated," Olivia declared.
O.K. Alice DISAPPEARED.
Can you both hear me?
"Yes."
"Yes."
Nothing out loud, Just think it and We can hear you.
OK
Alright
We're heading in.

There was a couple outside. This was odd. This was odd because it was raining. But they had no umbrella. You come closer. The woman is carrying something purple.
"I'm sorry," she whispers.
They walk slowly. You follow them. They stop at a door with a holly garland on it. The door is red. There is a cherry blossom tree in the back yard. The snow underneath it looks disturbed, with specks of brown.
They knock on the door. The door knocker is shaped like a branch with some cherries on it. They leave the purple bundle and walk away. You move to the window of the house.
The door opens. A man looks out, to the sides, and finally, down. He looks surprised. This is not a usual package. He picks it up.
"Honey, look what I found!" he calls into the house. He looks around again and then shuts the door. He goes through the hallway, into the living room where a woman is lying. She looks up, her eyes red with tears.
"Look what I found," he says more softly. He sets the bundle down on her lap gently. She smiles and unwraps the top half gently. chubby little arms reach out and grab the woman's hand.
"She's perfect. Alice would approve,"she pauses, as if considering. "Her name will be Leila and I'm keeping her," she says and smiles.
"I wouldn't try to convince you otherwise," he declares.
"Goodbye Alice. Your sister will grow up thinking about you," she whispers, so softly her husband doesn't even hear her. "I love you." This is for both Alice and Leila. She smiles to herself and makes room for the child. You are backing away. Far away, so far you can't see the rain, or the snow that covers the ground.
