We walked into school as Luhan munched on his last donut. I know I had already eaten more than my fair share but I couldn't help but drool at the sight of it. The heavenly smell wasn't helping.

Too busy trying to think of a way to steal his last piece I didn't realize Kai was standing in front of me.

"Good morning" he said with a smile. I had to admit he looked extra handsome today.

"Good morning" I said returning the smile but at the same time wondering what he wanted.

"I wanted to be the first one to congratulate you. At least now I will be able to see more of you" he said before winking and walking away.

"What just happened?" I asked Luhan but he looked just as confused as I was.

"So do you want the good news or the bad news?"  Xuimin said as he appeared out of nowhere with Chen.

"Good then bad" I responded.

"You made it into the basketball team" Chen shouted out and we all screamed in celebration like a bunch of girls.

"That's awesome. What's the bad news?" I asked thinking nothing could spoil my mood today.

"Considering what we just witnessed between you and Kai you will definitely be in bad books with Taemin" Xuimin said.

"Who is that and why is that a problem?" I asked.

"Lets just say Taemin has an unspoken claim on Kai and the moment she notices you in his lane then he will start to cause trouble for you" Xuimin explained.

"I don't know him and I don't care. It's not my fault Kai knows a good thing when he sees it" I said and they all laughed.

"I thought Taemin had finally settled with Minho" Luhan said.

"I don't know the whole story but apparently some drama happened and Minho broke his heart and so Taemin is back to his old ways. Every good looking man is his so basically stay away" Xuimin said.

"How can you not know the whole story Xuimin. You are like gossip girl and the whole school school depends on you to get the juice" Chen said and we all laughed but Xuimin gave him a glare.

"You're so dead" Xuimin said and Chen ran for his life. Xuimin followed with a look that could kill.

"Those two crack me up" I said.

"They should just date already"  Luhan said and we laughed all the way to our first class. Ignoring all the weird looks we got from people.

After lessons we all headed to the music club because they was a meeting.

"Congratulations on making it into the basketball team" Kris said as soon as we all sat next to each other in the club room.

He looked as yummy as yesterday with his signature smirk to complete his look.

"Thank you" I responded with a smile.

"Now I wish I had stayed in the basketball team" Kris said with a frown.

"Why?" I asked.

"Because the more I see you the better" he said his smirk back in place.

There he goes flirting again like its a reflex action.

"And why did you quit the team?" I asked with interest.

"Its a long boring story" he said.

"Then cut it short and make it interesting"  I said.

"Let's talk about something else more interesting like your phone number" he said and I just laughed.

"How many number have you got with that line?" I asked.

"You would be my first rejection if you don't give it to me" he said with confidence.

"There's a first time for everything"  too bad I had to crush it.

Soon our patron Mr Kim arrived and every student settled down.

I didn't like the fact that I was sharing breathing space with Kyungsoo but since he was at the other side of the room I pretended as I'd he doesn't exist.

"Thank you all for coming today. As you all know this term we are performing a musical" Mr Kim said and everyone cheered in excitement.

Our last music team only use to sing on certain occasions and that was it. So this was very exciting for me.

"For those who do not know we have a new member. Baekhyun could  you please stand up" Mr Kim said as I stood up and he introduced me to the class.

"I already know everyone here's voice, strengths and weaknesses.  I'm so sorry to put you in the spotlight but could you please give us a little performance so that I know where to put you for the musical" Mr Kim explained.

I took a deep breath before standing in front of the whole club. I guess it was now or never.

After finishing my song there was a moment of silence. Then one person started clapping and everyone joined in.

"Wow. That was just wow" Mr Kim said as he approached me.

"You have quite a voice there Baekhyun. Kyungsoo you have some serious competition here" he commented and I couldn't help but face my evil step brother who was looking at me with his famous glare.

Just when I thought I could stay out of his way now I was literally stealing his spotlight.

I could feel his hatred for grow with every glance.
