Morals
Today, I heard from a wise, old man the following:
"It doesn't matter how much you pray during the day or night, how much you feast, what you wear, because what really matters at the end of the day is your honesty and that you can be trusted."
Appearances are nothing but a mask that plays a vital role in deceiving the observer.
As we always heard don't judge a book by its cover. They were right!
Actions must speak.
Words are stronger than the sword.
The way a person speaks, if s/he is trustworthy, would never betray your trust, such people are worth having in our lives.
This what our religion teach us, despite what's your religion, it is always about morals.
Some people call it etiquette which having a polite behavoir.
Partly we learn this from our parents, the people we interact with.
Remember one thing, you can always change your habits. It can be difficult at first, but you need to believe you can do, then you would achieve.
If people used polite behavior with each other, then people wouldn't fight. They would respect each other.
A person with good morals tend to hide his sorrow, he is always happy and wants all those around him to smile.
Always smiling and being positive will lead to good things to happen to you.
Psychologically speaking, being optimistic and always smiling would influence our life positively. You wouldn't be depressed, no need for a psychiatry.
All I am trying to say is when you do the same things everyday, things become easier. It become a habit. If we were honest and acted accordingly, treated others as our equal, then we could live in peace.
Don't lie even if you're doing it for good reasons. Even if you'll be punished. Stay strong and say the truth.
I am not saying be a saint, even I lie from time to time. However, an honest person, live with a clear conscience. No regret or remorse.
Live a simple life, an easy one, problems will always chase us and find its way but with good intentions and morals, we'll give our life a better taste.
