Ice.Cold ice.Heartbreaking ice.It makes you numb.Somewhere within the war in my head,I've stumbled into a hole in the lake which was covered with ice.Once I was submerged,the hole closed itself.My nerves screamed with the pain of numbness,it felt surprising to me how even becoming numb could give you pain.There I was,suspended under the icy lake,begging to be noticed.My hands danced around,
desperately grasping at nothing,my mouth wanted to scream out loud but my mind willed it shut with a magic thought ," you would perish if you open it."So my lips were sealed,struggling to keep my voice in.

My nails scratched at the ice,asking it to show mercy.My eyes stared at it with a strange coldness and the ice stared back,it's gaze even colder.Heartless.Soon I couldn't hear the thumping of my heart anymore and my eyes faded to black.
