"Okay, so what are you going to wear?" Asked Ally as i smashed my locker hard, looking at her sternly.
"Ally James im not going" i said and started walking in opposite direction.
"But Eva-" she said running after me.
"Eva tell Ally we are not going to that party" said Mason as we catched up to him.
"Oh my God you two, can't you just for once agree with me?" Said Ally looking at us.
Me and Mason looked at each other for a moment and then replied:
"No"
"Aahhhhh" groaned Ally as we made our way to the ground outside.
"Ally do you even consider what might happen if we show up at Carter's house? He's already making our lives hell in school, have thought about what he might do to us in his own damn house?"
"Ally he might kill us brutally and bury our body somewhere in his huge house, no one will ever find us."
"Oh stop being dramatic you two, he won't do anything and besides there would be too many people at the party for him or anyone to notice us."
Me and Mason again looked at each other for a moment as we sat down next to a tree.
"No" we said again looking at Ally.

The rest of the week was better at school because of Carter's absence. He was suspended from the school for hitting Mason and as i enjoyed the days without any torture from him, i dreaded the time when he comes back . I'm sure he wouldn't have been happy about being suspended and wondered what he would do to me and Mason.
I groaned at being distracted again. I was on my bed working on that english project which Carter William was suppose to do. I was beyond angry, this was a lengthy project and i didn't want to do alone. I even went to miss Jean to ask her for a new partner but she refused.
I throwed my pen across the room and groaned again. After a few minutes i heard the door bell ring. Getting up i rushed to the door as i opened it i saw a women in her early thirties standing in front of me. She had blond hair and a beautiful smile.
"Hello, you must be Eva" she said coming forward and hugging me.
"Hi" i replied taken aback by her hug, i have no idea who she is.
"Im Jennifer" she said aftet seeing my confusion.
"Oh-hi um... come in" i said moving aside as she stepped in. This was the women my father told me about that day.
"Dad has gone out for something, he will be back soon though." I said as we reached the living room. I motioned for her to sit on the couch.
"Do you....need anything?"
"No, im good" she said.
I stood there like a dumb not knowing what do say or do, i wanted to leave but i didnt want to be rude.
"You can sit next to me, i took a bath before coming"
I smiled and sat next to her, she had humour, that was good. At this point i was totally judging her.
"So Eva, tell me about yourself." She said turing towards me.
"Um...i don't know what to tell."
"Anything would do."
I thought for a second what to tell her, something random but didn't come up with anything.
"I don't really have anything." I said again.
"What's your favourite sweet dish." She said out of the blue.
"Um.....i like cookies."
She got up to her feet and looked at me.
"Do you have the ingredients?"
"Yes...i guess" i replied standing up to.
She started moving towardd the kichen saying:
"Lets make cookies then."

We were sitting on the kitchen counter, eating the cookies Jennifer made. I have to admit they were really good. My father still
"So you tell me about yourself." I said.
"Me? Well i work at an advertising company, its not a very much but pays of the bills and lets me shop"
"What do you want to do after high school?" She asked.
"I have no idea" i replied taking another bite of my cookie. I have thought before what i wanted to do with my future but didn't come up with anything."
"Okay i think i would be heading back now." She said grasping the last bite of her cookie. "Eva if you need help regarding anything you can tell me okay? I'm always here to talk."
Eva looked at Jennifer with a small smile.
"I know what your trying to do..." said Eva.
"Get along with you just for the sake of your father?" She replied with a laugh. "No, its not just that. When your father first told me about the four of you i was so excited, i wanted to meet you all so bad."
She sighed for a moment.
"I've never had children and i can never have them so i guess i just really want you all to like me."
"Oh i'm....." I started, fumbling through my mind to find the right words.
"Its fine, we all lose words sometime" she said dismissing the topic with the wave of her hand.
"We dont mind you being part of our dad's life, i think you will be good for him." I said trying to make her feel better.
"And what about your life?" She asked looking towards me directly.
"I already have a mother but i think we will get along good." I said carefully.
I don't know why i said that mother part, maybe i should'nt have. But i just wanted to let her know that we did have a mother and no one takes her place here even if i don't talk to my mom anymore she is still my mom and i don't want to change that.
"Great! Now i need to get going" said Jennifer standing up.
I stood up along side her as she picked her bag.
"It was so nice meeting you and making cookies together, i hope you had fun." She said as she hugged me.
"Yes it was fun to make cookies and they tasted great we should do that again sometime." I replied hugging her back.
"Goodbye" she said as she walked towards the door leaving me with this uneasy feeling for the rest of the day.

I stood in front of my mirror, staring at my reflection.Did i look good enough to go to CARTER WILLIAM'S party? Of course not and I'm sure Carter wouldn't even consider me worthy of his party. I groaned loudly as i thought about how he was going to throw us out of his house.
I checked myself again in the mirror for the last time. I was wearing a dark blue tuckin shirt with jeans of the same color, i did'nt look anything special, just the same as always. I grabbed my bag and hurried downstairs as i heard the knock at the front door. I walked inside the kitchen where dad was making dinner for the kids, a crease on his forehead as he concentrated on cutting the potatoes evenly.
"Dad im going" i said not really wanting to distract him, he looked so calm and at peace when he's cooking. It's beautiful to watch.
He turns towards me and a smile appears on his face as he sees me.
"You look beautiful" he says putting down the knife.
"Thankyou very much" i reply with my own smile.
"Okay, have fun, do'nt do drugs, do'nt let Ally do something stupid and come back home on time."
"Yes sir" i say with a giggle and turn around to leave.
"Eva?"
I turn back around and look at my dad knowing exactly what he wants to talk about.
"So......um......how did you find Jennifer?" He asks staring at the ground.
"Dad it's really not the time for this, Ally and Mason are waiting outside."
"Yes yes of course have fun and be on time."
I nod and head out the kitchen towards the front door.
"Where do you think your going young lady?" Says Daniel standing in front of the door with his hands crossed in front of him.
"Oh God Daniel i do not have time for this" i say as i push him aside and open the door to see Ally standing.
"Eva you did'nt need to be this quick we could have waited another hour."she says sarcastically.
"Shut up" was my simple reply as i turn to closr the door.
"Can i come with you?"
I look down to see Daniel sticking his head out of the door. I push his head back in with my finger and close the door.

I could hear the light hum of the music as ee neared Carter's house, even though i did'nt really wanted to go i could feel excitement forming inside me. It's been so long since i went to a party and i was so exhausted with all the drama happening in the last few days that i could feel myself relax a little just by hearing the music.
Mason parked his car one street away from Carter's house in fear that something might happen to his car. And he was right in fearing, kids at parties are crazy.
"Ah tonight is going to be so much fun" said Ally sniffing the air filled with perfumes and sweat.
"If something happens Ally James, i swear im going to kill you." Groaned Mason as he started to move towards the house.
Carter William's house was everything a rich kid's house could be like. Wood floors, expensive furniture, beautiful painting. As we entered the house all i could see was humans, it seemed like everyone from the school was here and not just our school, there were so many people roaming around that i did'nt recognise. Some were gathered around at different spots playing games, some were dancing right in the middle of the living room as the music was playing blasting, it seemed like everyone was having fun. It was just a typical party.
"Ohh there they are" said Ally moving towards the familiar group from school."
"Hey you finally showed up" said Nina running towards us.
"Yea Eva is a slow human and Mason is a slow driver there is nothing i can do about that" replied Ally hugging her as Mason scowled at her.
I stood there for a while talking about one thing to another.
"I'm going to get a drink." I said and moved towards the kitchen. There were people there too eating snacks and chattering. I grabbed coke and two chips, placing one in my mouth.
As i turned around to leave a splash of coke came onto me wetting my shirt and face, the sweet taste of coke on the tip of my tongue. I wipped my face with my hand as i saw Haley standing in front of me.
"This is the most typical thing for a girl like you to do to a girl like me at a party." I said staring at her, my anger tempting me to force my drink on her.
"Listen you whatever stay the hell away from Carter or there will be consequences." She said sternly looking at me as if to scare me and then walked away.
I took a deep breath to calm myself down and walked outside the kitchen to find a bathroom.
The bathroom on the ground floor was filled. I moved upstairs in hopes to find a clean vacant one.
The first room was locked as i tried to open it, i moved on to the second one and opened it.
"Mom you promised" said a frustrated Carter as i opened the door, his back towards me.
Upon hearing the door open, he turned around and looked at me.
"I will talk to you later mom." He said his eyes still on me.
"What are you doing here" he said as his call finished.
"I need to use the bathroom"
"Get out of my room, get out of my house." He said.
"I will after i use the bathroom" i said and walked towards the door. He did'nt objected and i closed the door behind me. After washing my face and cleaning my shirt as much as i could i walked out to find Carter still in the room, sitting on the bed. I thought he would have left.
"Your done? Good now get out." He said without looking at me.
I walked towards the door but then stopped and turn around facing him. His room was like any other guy room.
"Look can you stop it?"
"Stop what?" He asked stubbornly.
"You know what, i am seriously tired of you making me a joke and i think its time you move on and find a new target."
"You know Eva you can fantasize all you want thinking that i think about you but i don't, your a nobody and i could'nt care less about you and stop trying to get my attention by showing up at my parties cause you are not my attention worthy. Now please get out."
In that moment i could think plenty of ways to kill Carter, to kill Ally for bringing me here and myself for coming knowing exactly what was going to happen.
I turned around to leave, opened the door and then stopped for one last time.
"You know you can come by my house for dinner anyday i mean it must get lonely eating alone in this big house all the time."
With that i left the room refusing to look at him.
