*Ally James*

I heard the beep of Drake's car from outside. Grabbing my school bag I walked downstairs and out the house. I am so mad at him.

Moving towards the car I opened the passenger side door and looked at him. He was wearing a grey hoodie with light green shirt, he's not good at fashion. But anyways he looked gorgeous.

"What the hell?" I said.

"I'm not in the mood Ally" he replied not looking at me.

"We were suppose to go to out yesterday and you didn't show up and YOU didn't even pick up my calls or replied back let alone messaging me before hand that you won't be coming AND you're not even apologizing right now. " I said glaring at him.

"I have been up all night for two days, searching with that idiot Carter for Eva, knowing full well we're not going to find her. I have zero sleep, zero food in my stomach and zero energy to fight with you right now. So please get in the car so we can go to school" he said looking directly at me.

"Go. To. Hell" I said and slammed the door shut.

Sometimes my temper gets the best of me. I have my excuse. My best friend is still missing.

I was walking past a vacant class when I saw Carter sitting inside it alone. He had his eyes closed while his foot was moving constantly.

I walked in and closed the door behind me. Hearing the sound he opened his eyes and looked at me. I walked over and sat next to him.

"Can I request you something?" I asked sweetly as he closed his eyes back and nodded.

"Can you please stop driving my boyfriend crazy"

"He's my best friend, I can do what ever the hell I wanna do with him" he replied.

"And he's my boyfriend" I replied looking at him wide eyed.

"Ally leave me alone" he said opening his eyes and looking at me.

"Ahhhh" I huffed throwing my arms up.

Taking in a deep breath I turned back to him.

"Carter this isn't going to help. I get it, your upset about Eva, we all are but you should leave it to the police to find her cause you won't be able to" I said.

"I am going to find her" he said glaring at me and then turned his gaze away.

"Carter you need to live your life"

He froze for a second and then turned to face me completely.

"Live my life? Are you giving up on Eva Ally?"

"No that's not-"

"You think she's never coming back, you all think that"

"I did not say that-"

"And you ALL can't wait to move on with your life"

"Its not like that-"

"Do you not for a second think where she is? How she has been for more than a week now? Did they do something with her?" His voice cracking now.

"STOP. OKAY JUST STOP" I said as my body started trembling.

"If she was here instead of you she wouldn't have lived her life" he said finally.

I looked at him angrily. Who does he think he is saying there is no one out there worried for Eva except him?

"Oh so you care about Eva more than anyone else? The guy who walked away when she told him she loved him? Let me tell you one thing Carter, all the other people in Eva's life said 'I love you too' back to her instead of you" I said and got up to leave.

*Drake Richards*

"Should we skip searching for her tonight and just....you know....sleep?" I said carefully to Carter, hoping against hope that he would agree.

He just glared at me and then went back to wearing his shoes. As I looked at him tying his shoes the bell rang.

"Who would be here at this time?" I said and walked towards the door.

Opening it I saw Caroline standing outside. Her arms wrapped around her body as cold wind blew outside.

"Hi" she said with a smile.

"What are you doing here?" I asked trying to think of her motives.

"Can I come in?" She asked.

I couldn't keep her out in the cold so I nodded and moved aside to let her in.
She walked to the living room and stopped in her tracks when her eyes fell on Carter. He too froze looking at her.

"You're here too, that's good" she said.

I walked over and stood next to Carter knowing Caroline had to say something.

"I'm going back" she said finally, as if it was a big wieght on her that she had let out now.

"What?" I said.

Carter beside me as usual didn't speak, didn't react.

"I want to start anew and I can't do that here with so many dark memories. I just came to say goodbye and that I will miss you" she said as tears spring in her eyes about to fall. Her voice cracking.

I leaned forward and hugged her, she hugged me back, my shirt getting wet from her tears.

Caroline had been a mean person to alot of people, many people out there hate her but to me she had always been and always will be a friend. She had been by my side way before than Carter was. She stood up for me and fighted for me when I was weak, I can never abandon her. And she cried on my chest I was already missing her.

All the memories that I made with her, the adventures and troubles we got in together will always mean something.

She stepped back clearing her tears away from her face. Whenever I used to look at Caroline, I used to think God must have given a lot of time to her cause she beautiful.

She looked up at Carter waiting for him to say something. When he didn't she smiled a small sad smile and walked towards him.

"Best of luck Carter, in finding Eva and when you do don't let her go. She is the one."

She went forward to hug him, I didn't expected Carter to hug back but he did. He hugged her back, tightly, his eyes closed and I knew he was missing her too. There was a point when Carter did love Caroline, when I could see both of them together till end but not anymore and both of them knew that.

"Take care" said Carter.

"I'm sorry, come on now, we'll go on a date tomorrow, today, right now just don't be mad at me" I said to Ally.

We were in the school parking lot as she refused to look at me.

"Baby please, talk to me"

She sighed and placed her head on my shoulder, I wrapped my hands around her.

"I'm sorry" she mumbled.

"Its okay, I get it, at least your better than Carter" I replied.

She looked up at me, her dreamy eyes staring at me.

"Carter is like a-"

"Wild animal right now and even I will get injured if I go near him"

She let out a giggle. I feel a lot better now. From the distance I saw Carter's mom roll up to the entrance of the school. He got out of it and walk towards us.

"I need to talk to you" he said standing next to us now.

"Okay, are your parents still here?" I asked.

"Yea, their not leaving why are they not leaving?"

"Shouldn't you be happy about this? You finally get to spend some time with them" said Ally beside me.

"Am I talking to you?" Said Carter looking at her.

"Oooh now I get it. Your jelous of me because Drake is spending more time with me instead of you. He's not giving you the usual attention-" said Ally smiling her mean smile.

"Hey, listen Drake is my-" started Carter but I cut in.

"Okay, stop it you two, this is enough" I said not wanting to see them fight.

"Ally" came a distant voice.

I turned to see it was Nina. She was walking towards us.

"Hey, I wanted to tell you that we were going to Eva's parents today. They must be going through alot so we thought we could give them some company-" she said.

"Where were you at the night of the party" asked Carter.

I looked at him, surprised at his sudden, out of the blue question. He was looking at Nina with scrunted eyes.

"At the party" replied Nina.

"I didn't see you there" said Carter moving a little forward.

"That's your problem" she said crossing her hands over her chest.

Ally pushed Carter back with her hand.

"Yea sure Nina, I'll come along" she said with a smile.

Nina nodded and then left with a sad smile of her.

"Dude that's Nina the weird, your overthinking everyone" I said to Carter as soon as she left.

Carter's eyes were still following her. After a moment he turned and looked at me.

"I need to talk to you" he repeated.

"I get it, I'm leaving" said Ally.

Grabbing her bag she left as I watched her with a small smile on my face.

"She's annoying" said Carter.

I rolled my eyes and asked him what he wanted to talk about.

"I found her" he said calmly.

"WHAT!!??" I said looking at him wide eyed.

"I found where they are keeping her. Tomorrow night I'm going, do you want to come?" He said.

"Wait, how-"

"Its okay, I understand if you don't want to go"

"NO! its just why don't you go and tell the police where she is"

"Yea and what do I say when they ask me how did I know?"

I didn't had an answer to that.

"But if we go-"

"Then I am going to kill every single one of them and bring Eva" he replied

"So are you coming?"

"Yes" I nodded.

I didn't wanted to go knowing that its going to be dangerous not only for me and Carter but for Eva too. But I cannot let him go alone.
