There was a knock on the door, I was making the twins do their homework.

"I hope its Ally, I could use a break right now" said Daniel.

I got up and walked towards the door, opening it to reveal Henry.

"Hello" I said.

"Oh hello dear, how are you" he replied with a smile on his face.

"I'm good" I said and stepped away from the door letting him in.

"Is your mom home?"

"Yea, she is in the kitchen" I said closing the door behind.

Henry went towards the kitchen while I went back to the living room. The twins of course were no longer studying, Daniel was jumping on the couch while Alex lay on the floor with eyes closed, his legs and arms streched out.

"GET UP" I said loudly sitting next to Alex.

It took me about ten minutes to get them back to work but Millie joined us soon, holding a teddy bear. She tried hard to get a pencil and doodle something on the twins books. It is so hard to manage these kids, I have no idea how my father manages to do it.

"Eva Millie is teasing me because she has no homework to do" said Daniel.

"Daniel she is going to do this too one day now COMPLETE YOUR HOMEWORK" I replied.

After a few minutes Henry came. He sat on the couch and for a while watched us. Its still strange to have Henry around us, around me but I'm getting use to it. I guess that the only thing to do now.

"You know your mom is really happy to have you here" said Henry.

I turned to look at him and nodded.

"You should visit her more"

"I will" I replied.

He stopped talking and I thought he was done but then he spoke again.

"Eva, can I talk to you about something"

I looked at him again, wondering what he wanted to talk about. I got up from the carpet and went over to sit next to him on the couch.

He remained silent at first as if thinking about what he should say.

"I wanted to talk to you about Kaiden" he said finally.

Kaiden?

"I am worried about him, he isn't acting like himself lately"

"Oh I didn't know that" I replied.

I did know that. Kaiden wasn't being himself lately, that there was something up, something wrong.

"You and him get along quite well, so I was wondering if you know or if you can find out what's wrong with him. I mean I can offer him help but I'm scared he will shut me out but if its you maybe he can tell what's bothering him"

"Yea sure" I replied nodding.

Now when I look at him, Henry looks worried. Of course Kaiden is his son he would want everything to be okay with him.

"Thankyou" said Henry.

I was sitting on the steps outside the front door waiting for Ally. Today we were going to wonderland with Mason and Nina. Wonderland is a big mall here that has everything from clothes to games to cinema. Me and Ally usually go there for shopping.

My phone started to vibrate in my pocket and I took it out. Carter was calling again. It was his fifth call of the day.

Since what happened last time I have been ignoring him. I have had enough of him playing with my feelings so I had to put an end to it.

The phone stopped buzzing and a message came from him after.

'Pick up the phone' it read.

I closed the phone putting it back in my pocket.

From the distance I heard the horn of a car approaching. Looking up I saw it was Drake's.

What the hell? What is Drake doing here?

I stood up as the passenger side door opened and Ally stepped out.

"What is this?" I asked her as she walked towards me.

"What?" She asked innocently.

"Ally" I said woth a warning.

She sighed and looked back at the car.

"I thought if Mason can bring someone with him so can we"

"Ally are you crazy?" I asked looking at her bewildered.

She is not doing this.

"What Eva? If you want you can call Carter too now lets go we don't have much time" she said turning away and walking back to the car.

Oh my God. I hope everything goes smoothly.

I walked behind her and opened the backseat door.

"Hello Drake" I said as I sat in, closing the door.

"Hey" he replied back starting the car.

He looked better now, much better than before. I'm glad he is okay.

"How are you" I asked sitting in the middle.

"Much better, don't worry about me" he replied with his same cheeky grin.

It didn't took us long to get there. Drake parked the car and we got out, at a distance I could see Mason and Nina waiting for us. I wonder what Mason is going to say about Drake being here.

We jogged up to them, me ahead of Drake and Ally. Mason's face showed confusion as he stared at the three of us, Nina's was the same.

"What is he doing here?" He asked looking at Drake sternly.

"I thought we could bring friends" answered Ally innocently.

"Ally he is not a friend" said Nina.

"If you two have a problem you can leave" replied Ally grabbing Drake's hand and moving inside the mall.

Mason and Nina both looked stunned, like they didn't understand what was happening. Mason's shock was soon replaced by anger.

"What the hell is Ally doing?" Said Nina not pleased herself.

"Oh I know exactly what she is doing" replied Mason and then looked at me.

"Tell her its not going to work"

We were all sitting in a cafe inside the mall. All through the day Mason and Nina had been on their own while Drake and Ally were roaming together. I was all alone following either one of them. It didn't seem like we had come here together, to spend some time with each other. There was an icy air surrounding us now that I have never sensed before and didn't like at all.

After the whole day at least we decided to eat something together. Drake and Mason had gone to bring our orders as the three of us sat in utter silence.

I so wish I had stayed at home.

"Ally you shouldn't have brought Drake with you" said Nina.

"Why not Nina" retorted back Ally.

"Why not? Are you even listening to yourself? This is Drake we are talking about. Have you forgotten how many times he has teased us? Teased you? How many times he has hit Mason and others?"

"He has changed" replied Ally shortly.

"Oh I never thought you were this naive. Changed? For you? He is just playing with you, you are most probably a dare to him"

Ally looked up at her, anger radiating from her body.

"Okay stop it-" I said quickly not wanting them to create drama here. They both looked at each other sternly, ready to kill.

Then something changed in Nina's posture. Her anger gone as she looked at Ally with pity?

"Listen Ally I get it your heartbroken" she said

"What did you say?" Said Ally.

"I know you liked Mason and wanted to be with him and that you are doing all this just to get him jealous but its not going to work. He likes me and will never like you so I suggest that you give up and move on"

She said it like she was sorry but didn't seem like it at all. I had the urge to slap her across the face. Ally beside me was as stunt as I was. I could see the hurt surface on her face.

"Here we go" came Drake's voice as he slide in beside Ally.

Mason sat next to Nina, we ate in silence no one uttering a word. A strange kind of tension surrounding us.

Now sitting here I wish I had called Carter to come here with me.

After finishing eating we all said our goodbyes. Me, Ally and Drake walked back to his car. I felt completely exhausted.

"Gosh I am so tired" said Ally standing next to the car.

Drake walked over to the driver's side and instead of opening the door and getting in he stood their and looked at us.

"I guess this is goodbye then" he said seriously.

"What do you mean?" Asked Ally as I took a step forward.

"My job is done here isn't it Ally? I mean you have used me enough the whole day to make Mason jealous so this is the time I get off the job" he said looking at her.

Ally didn't say anything just looked at him, guilt surfacing on her face. In one swift movement Drake opened the car door and got inside. Starting the car he reversed it out of the parking lot and drived away. I watched his car disappear.

"What a jerk" said Ally next to me.

I was sitting in my room doing my homework. Trying to keep my mind off everything.

I had got a call from Ally earlier going on and on about how much she hates both Drake and Mason. The call lasted for two hours with me not uttering a single word.

I also got more calls from Carter, I tried to stay away from him at the school.

I am scared of the way he makes me feel, I have never felt something like this before. With Carter my feeling have always been complicated. Its butterflies and honey bees together.

As I tried to concentrate the door creaked open and Carter stepped in.

I sat up straight seeing him standing there, my eyes wandering down his body. He looked hot in his dark blue shirt and black jeans. His colonge so stronge I could smell it sitting here on my bed.

"What are you doing here? Don't you knock before coming?" I snapped at him standing up.

"Why aren't you answering my calls?"

"Because I don't feel like talking to you" I replied crossing my arms on my chest.

He closed the door behind him and moved forward.

"What were Caroline and Kaiden talking about?" He asked.

I looked at him surprised.

"What do you mean?" I questioned.

"You said that Kaiden was talking to Caroline on phone and you saw them talk at the party. What were they talking about"

"I thought you didn't believe me"

He walked over towards me and stood in front of me.

"Eva can you please stop being stubborn and answer my damn question" he said sternly looking at me.

He looked the most serious I have ever seen him. His eyes boring into mine, telling me he's playing no games just want an answer. I wonder why he needs an answer now, does this mean he believes me?

I sighed and starting talking.

"At the party they were kind of fighting, Caroline said that she didn't came all the way back for nothing and if Kaiden doesn't get him anything then he would suffer"

Carter's expression remained the same. He stood their in front of me not moving an inch, listening carefully to every word he was saying.

"At Kaiden's flat he was talking to her on the phone so I wasn't able to hear her. Kaiden was saying something about the window, that the window is alway open and she should climb in through. I don't really know what the subject was, it doesn't make sense. Kaiden was talking about someone who was hiding something in that room. It seemed like they were trying to get into someone's house" I babbled on.

I haven't been able to understand the phone call that Kaiden and Caroline had. It seemed like they were doing something wrong.

I looked up at Carter and was stunt. His expression of a rock had changed. There was fear in his eyes, the kind that I saw when those men stopped our car the night of the concert. His colour was drowning a little.

He was looking at me but seemed somewhere far away.

"Is everything okay?" I said but he didn't respond.

It was like he couldn't even hear me.

"Carter" I said moving a little forward and placing my hand on his arm.

I shaked him a little and he came out of his trance. His eyes travelled along my room and then landed on me.

"Was that it?" He asked his voice not as complete as it used to be.

I nodded looking at him. He stepped back a little and took a breath. His hand om his hips as he stared down at the floor.

"I need to go" he said turning around and making his way to the door.

"What!?" I asked bewildered staring at his back.

"I got my answer, Caroline isn't cheating on me. I was right" he replied still not facing me.

"What the hell?" I said walking over to him. "You think I am lying?"

"Eva can't you just leave it?" He said turning around to look at me.

"No I won't"

"What do you want me to do? Break up with my girlfriend just because you don't like her?" He asked agitated.

I could feel my anger raising up.

"Get out" I said trying to control my emotions.

"I am but one more thing before I go, when I call you, you answer."

"No"

"What?"

"I said no, I am not going to answer your call and I suggest you never call me again. I am sick and tired of this. I am not any other girl at the school that you can play games with, okay? I am not going to let you play with me and my feelings" I said as anger consumed me.

I could feel the burn of tears in my eyes ready to spill. I blinked furiously wanting them to go away. I am not going to cry for Carter in front of Carter. I am stronger than this.

"I don't understand what your saying Eva" he said softly now.

"Are you really that stupid or you pretend to be. Can't you see it? Can't you put the dots together?"

He just stood there looking at me. Not doing anything, not saying anything. I wish he had said something, something that could have made me stop from saying what I said next.

"I like you Carter" I said so softly that even I missed it.

A rebel tear slid down my face. If only we never had these rebel tears.

This is huge, what do you think is going to be Carter's reaponse.
I am sorry it took me long to update but its being hard for me to manage my school and this is love. So an important announcement.

I will try to update between when I have time but with all the tests and my saturday on too its going to be hard.
