Author's Note

This series is told through two primary perspectives: Tuck's POV on the outside, and Sparky's POV inside the facility.

Tuck's chapters focus on life beyond the walls—love, bullying, recovery, and the struggle to keep moving forward while someone you care about is fighting their own battle elsewhere. Sparky's chapters offer an inside look at mental illness, treatment, fear, and survival within the facility itself.

These two perspectives are meant to run in parallel, showing how healing can look very different on either side of the same separation. Other points of view may appear when the story calls for them, but Tuck and Sparky remain the emotional core of the story.

This is a story about love that endures distance, recovery that isn't linear, and growth that happens even when people are apart.
