(Momo POV.)

Today I'm on my own again and it sucks.. Ochaco made plans with her mom, all the other girls are busy with work, same with Katsuki, Eijirou, and Shouto. It's just boring at home right now... Shouto told me that his mother would always be happy to spend time with me, but today she was also busy with Fuyumi. And my parents... They just got back from a trip and are dealing with their company..

"I'm just so bored," I groan aloud as I set my book down. "Being restricted to home sucks.."

I saw my doctor again last week and she put me on bed rest until the twins are born. So for the past week I've been hanging out on the couch being utterly lazy and contributing nothing to society or to anyone...

"I'm thirty four weeks along now. I wonder if they'll come soon.. Rei said they could be born around now," I sigh as I click on the TV.

"-up next is our exclusive interview with Pro Hero Red Riot about his recent engagement," the newscaster states.

"Oh wow.. Guess they're finally giving some insight to it," I mutter while watching.

The news goes to the video of his interview. "So tell us the scoop Red Riot. Why now to propose to Ground Zero? Your relationship with him has always been somewhat secretive to the media, so this interview is exciting to us as well as our viewers!" the interviewer exclaims.

"Well first of, Katsuki was the one who initially was gonna propose to me that night. He made us this great dinner at home and it was so perfect. He's an amazing cook and I'm always more than happy when we have date night at home!" he replies happily.

"So Ground Zero was the one who popped the question?"

"Well, yes and no," he laughs. "I was also planning on asking him to marry me since I didn't think he'd wanna be the one doing it. It's not really his style and I was waiting for the right time to ask.. The dinner was so perfect, it just felt like the right time then and there. We both pulled our rings out at the same time and wound up just proposing to each other," he chuckles while rubbing the back of his head. "He was so frustrated and so cute."

"That is rather funny. Eijirou and Katsuki have been tight lipped about their engagement for the last few weeks. Mina couldn't even get Eijirou to tell her anything," I mumble while watching the segment go back to the normal news.

"You heard it here first. Two of the most reliable and headstrong Heroes around tying the knot and how it happened!"

I turn the volume on the TV down and pick my book back up. "Just the background noise is nice for now. Hopefully Shouto is doing okay out there today. It's nearly the middle of May already and he's been trying to go on as many missions as he can since the twins will be born soon... I think today he said he was going to Hosu to assist the Ingenium agency with taking down some trafficers..." I mumble to myself.

I set my hand over my stomach as I feel one of them kick. "Your dad will probably be home late tonight. Which means I only have to make dinner for myself," I say to them as they start to kick more. "You guys are are active now. Just wake up from a nap?" I giggle.

They're really going at it now. I can feel them moving a lot which is normal, but.. It's starting to hurt more...

(Shouto POV.)

"Glad we got that taken care of. Thank you for your assistance today, Todoroki," Iida tells me as we watch the police take the criminals away.

"Yeah. No problem. It's always great working together," I reply, focusing away from the Villains we caught. "Is there anything else going on in the area that you could use some help with?"

"Nothing major now that this operation has been handled," he tells me. "We could always take a late lunch, or, early dinner. There's a pretty good ramen shop not too far from here if you want to get a bite to eat before heading back to Musutafu," he suggests.

"Sure. Sounds good. Momo's not expecting me back for another few hours so it should be fine," I say as we start to leave the scene. "I'm gonna call her and check in though. Today she's alone at the house, and I know she's not too fond of being alone right now since she's on bed rest."

"Are you sure you shouldn't just go home and be with her then? If the doctor put her on bed rest then wouldn't she be grateful to have your assistance?"

"Well.. I guess.."

"Don't worry about me, Todoroki. We can always catch up later," he tells me while smiling. "Go and be with your wife. I'm just going to get a bite to eat before I go and see Mei. I need to pick her up some food anyway."

"Alright. I'll see ya later then. Maybe next week we can team up on something else."

"Sure. Just come by the agency when you can," he proudly says.

I nod and start to walk off, waving goodbye as I pull my phone out. "Alright. I still should call Momo. I can probably pick up some takeout- Wow that's a lot of missed calls... What number is this..?"

As I'm about to call them back, my phone rings again from the same unknown number. "Um. Hello?"

"Is this Shouto Todoroki?"

"Yeah? Who's this?"

"This is Musutafu Private Hospital. Four hours ago one of our ambulances responded to a call at your house and your wife was brought in. She went into labor and has been in hard labor for nearly thirty minutes now," the man on the line says to me.

"Wait.... She's giving birth now!?" I exclaim, trying to wrap my head around it all. "Wh- Agh! I'm on my way!"

I hang up the call and ignore everyone who's looking at me. I use my Quirk to blast up into the air, using my fire as a booster and my ice to slide across. No way in hell am I waiting for the damn train. I can get myself back to Musutafu in about a half hour if I push myself and regulate my temperature accurately.

I need to get to Momo.

A/N: Short chapter I know, but I got what I wanted across 🙃 and I think I've got their names and appearance and Quirks figured out 👀 but I probably won't get to editing the next chapter until I feel a little better since I got sick 😣
