Thanos slowly got to his feet, shrugging off the collapsed metal pieces. A blue girl jumped and punched Thanos in the face. She slid into a crouch and glared up at Thanos. She then flicked out a collapsible baton and pressed a button. An electric current was running through it. I got my holographic decoys ready for the next step of the fight.

"Well, well." Thanos gravelly said.

"You should've killed me." Blue Girl told him.

"It would've been a waste of parts." Thanos yelled at her.

Blue Girl swung her baton at Thanos with a grunt. She jabbed and swung at him, landing every hit as she maneuvered around Thanos. Figuring she was on our side, I deployed the decoys. The replicated her moves around Thanos, disorienting him. She was able to land more crucial blows to his wounds.

"Where's Gamora?" She demanded as she stopped fighting.

The other decoys followed suit. Thanos swung an arm through all of them. Eventually, he landed a hit on her that forced her to fly backwards. Blue Girl landed into a pile of metal. Doctor Strange casted thick red metallic looking ribbons around Thanos's gauntlet. Thanos tried to break free of the ribbons. Doctor Strange tightened the ribbon.

Drax ran behind him and slid. He kicked the back of Thanos's bleeding calf. Thanos fell onto his knees with a small grunt. Quill fired an electric magnet, that bounded Thanos to the device with blue electricity. Peter swung in, wrapping webbing around Thanos and tugged in the opposite direction. Tony dropped in and grabbed a hold of the gauntlet.

Thanos struggled, pulling Peter towards him. Metallic spider legs came from Peter's back and steadied him. I ran at Thanos while Mantis jumped on his shoulders. She wrapped her legs around him and placed her hands on his head. I fired four tranquilizer darts that should be strong enough to knock him out based off of the calculations I made of his strength throughout the fight. Luckily, Tony had installed tranquilizer darts into my suit.

Thanos yelled as he tried to fight us off. Drax held onto one of his legs while I went to go help Tony. I yanked at the gauntlet but nothing was happening. Suddenly, Thanos's yells fell silent. I glanced up to see his eyes be glazed for milky white waves.

"Is he under? Don't let up." Tony stated.

"Be quick. He is very strong." Mantis warned. "Even with the tranquilizer darts."

"Parker, help! Get over here." Tony called. Peter quickly let go of his webbing and went to help Tony. "She can't hold him much longer. Let's go."

The three of us pulled with all of our might. Quill flew his way over to us and landed in a few feet in front of Thanos with his back towards us. I gritted my teeth and tugged at the gauntlet again. Quill pocketed his gun.

"We gotta open his fingers to get it off." Peter realized.

"I thought you'd be hard to catch." Quill taunted as he walked towards us. His mask materialized away. "For the record, this was my plan. You're not so strong now, huh? Where is Gamora?"

"My Gamora." Thanos groaned out.

"Quill, shut up." I told him, my eyes widening in fear.

"No, bullshit!" Quill got up close to Thanos with anger in his eyes. "Where is she?"

"He is in anguish." Mantis informed.

"Good." Quill said.

Thanos groaned in pain as we started to tug at the gauntlet more harshly. Peter and I were trying to open his fingers out more to slide the gauntlet off.

"He...he mourns." Mantis's eyes started to water.

"What does this monster have to mourn?" Drax strained.

"Gamora." Blue Girl realized.

Quill's face dropped. He slowly turned towards the blue girl with fear in his eyes. I managed to pull back a finger and tugged at the gauntlet again. The gauntlet forced the finger to stay straightened out.

"What?" Quill uttered.

"He took her to Vormir. He came back with the Soul Stone. But she didn't." Blue Girl sorrowfully stated.

There was a beat of silence as everyone processed her words. Anger started to wash over Quill's features. Tony quickly rushed towards Quill, his mask now gone. Peter and I kept trying to tug off the gauntlet.

"Okay, Quill, you gotta cool it, right now. You understand?" Tony told him. Quill slowly turned to face Thanos wearing an all too familiar look. It was a look of someone with their mind already made up. No sense would breaks through them. Tony panicked. "Don't, don't. Don't engage. We almost got this off!"

"Tell me she's lying." Quill said thickly. Blue Girl swallowed the lump in her throat and dropped her gaze to the ground. Anger was drowning Quill. "Asshole, tell em you didn't do it!"

"I had to." Thanos choked out.

"Oh God." I breathed out in horror.

"No, you didn't." Quill shook his head, the anger replaced by sorrow. He took a step back, his eyes watering. "No, you didn't."

Impulsively, Quill hit Thanos with his gun with a frustrated yell. Thanos let out a pained grunt. Rage took over. Quill hit him again. Mantis dropped her hands from Thanos's head from the hit.

"No, you didn't!" Quill hit him again.

"Hey, stop!" Tony rushed towards Quill. Another hit. Peter and I pulled at the gauntlet. Quill raised his fist again. Tony grabbed Quill's hand to stop him from hitting Thanos again. "Hey, stop! Stop!"

I tugged at the gauntlet as Peter worked on loosening more fingers. The gauntlet slid a little from Thanos. My eyes widened hopefully.

"Hey, stop! Stop!" Tony told Quill.

"It's coming, it's coming." Peter helped me pull the gauntlet. The gauntlet was sliding off of Thanos's hand. Anxiety filled my chest. "We got it! We got it!"

Thanos snapped. He threw his head back to Mantis. I looked up at him with wide eyes as I tried to tug it completely off. Thanos looked in our direction and yanked the gaunlet back on. The force made Peter and I to stumble backwards. Thanos grabbed Mantis and threw her off of him.

"Oh, God." Peter stumbled to his feet and went to go help Mantis before she crashed into metal debris.

Peter managed to grab her, activating the spider legs to save them from the fall. They rolled for a little bit before the legs dug into the ground to stop them. I quickly got to my feet and fired micro repulsers at Thanos to try and slow him down. Thanos kicked Drax toward Quill and Blue gGrl.

Thanos fisted the red ribbon and tossed Doctor Steange away. Tony flew at him. Thanos swiped an arm at Tony, sending him away. I leaped at Thanos, grabbing ahold of his arm and threw myself upwards. My body spun around his arm and forced Thanos to flip onto the ground with a grunt. I landed on my feet and grabbed his arm, pulling it sharply.

Thanos released a pained cry as I dislocated his shoulder. He raised his gauntlet and aimed it at me. The purple stone glowed as he shot an energy wave my way. It absorbed into my suit and a grin spread across my lips. I took out a throwing knife from my thigh holster and flicked it at the gash I gave him on his forearm.

Frustrated and panicked, Thanos quickly punched me. I stumbled back a little bit. Thanos quickly got to his feet and grabbed me by the arm and tossed me aside. I let out a groan as my back harshly hit a pile or rubble and debris. My head banged against my helmet as it hit the concrete. I winced in pain as in blinked away the blurriness.

By the time my vision was cleared, I noticed three people unconscious on the ground a few feet away from me. Quill, Drax, and Blue Girl. I quickly stumbled to my feet, my body aching. Large chunks of rocks fell from the sky. The purple stone glowed on the gauntlet as Thanos motioned for the rocks to follow after Tony. Tony weaved between the rocks until a larger one crashed down on him. It crushed Tony into the ground.

"Tony!" I cried out, trying to rush towards him.

The aftershock of the crash knocked us off the ground. Debris and dust clouded the sky. I flew into the air, my flight system kicking in to stop me from falling. Peter was swinging around with Mantis attached to some webbing. I flew towards Drax, Quill and blue girl. A large chunk of metal was hurtling at me. I quickly twirled around it and caught Drax by his arm.

"Woah!" I ducked to avoid a flaming rock coming from outer space.

"I got you." Peter stuck the webbing attached to Mantis to a secured metal rig. He waved me down as the spider legs held him to the metal. "Lina! Throw him to me. I'll catch him. Get the other guy."

"Okay." I did my best to throw Drax towards Peter.

"I got you." Peter shot a web at him and yanked Drax towards the rig. He quickly attached the webbing to the metal like Mantis. "I'm sorry man, I can't remember everyone's names."

"I've got Quill!" I shouted, grabbing him by the ankle.

"Toss him over here." Peter moved down the metal and shot a web at Quill when I threw him.

"Where's the blue girl? And Doctor Strange?" I asked.

"I don't know." Peter called out over his shoulder. He stuck Quill a little away from Drax. "Where's Mr. Stark? Has he come out from under that rock yet?"

"I haven't seen him." I stated with worry.

"He's going to be okay." Peter tried to reassure me. However, I could hear the slight panic in his voice. "He's Iron Man. He's okay."

"Right." I said in a small voice, looking below to see if I could see him through the dust.

I couldn't.

I was trying my best not to panic. I saw an orange glow coming from down below. It had to be Doctor Strange. It was still too dusty to really see anything. Not long after, a purple beam was shot towards the area the orange glow was. It stopped suddenly as if it hit a shield. A few seconds later, a purple ball shot at Doctor Strange.

The dust was starting to clear due to the fighting between Thanos and Doctor Strange. The purple ball was turning into millions of green lunar moths. They flew towards Thanos. He flinched as some of the moths fluttered past him. He seemed to soften a bit from the gentleness.

Doctor Strange levitated and he raised his hand. Suddenly, six more pairs of arms sprouted from him. Doctor Strange crossed his arms before extending them by his side. Clones shot out of Doctor Strange. They surrounded Thanos in the sky. The casted an orange whip and simultaneously shot it at Thanos. Their glowing whips wrapped around Thanos's arms.

Thanos struggled to break out of the bonds. He activated the purple stone causing purple lightning to flicker across the clones. One by one they vanished until Doctor Strange was the only one left standing. He flew back from the impact of all of the clones returning to him. Thanos closed his fist and pulled it closer to his chest. Doctor Strange was magically pulled toward the alien. Thanos wrapped his hand around Doctor Strange's throat.

"You're full of tricks, wizard." Thanos said. Doctor Strange tried to break free. Thanos used his other hand to grab and yank the necklace from Doctor Strange. The wizard let out a sharp cry of defiance, his eyes wide as he stared at the broken necklace. "Yet you never once used your greatest weapon."

Thanos closed his fist and crushed the necklace. It crumbled and revealed that there was not an infinity stone. He dropped the broken pieces to the ground.

"A fake."

Thanos kept autocorrecting to Thanks and it was hilarious 😂

Also, I may not update for the rest of this week. One of my friend's lost her boyfriend in a bad car accident. I'm going to with her as much as I can. I may try to update next Monday.
