01's POV

I let his heart drop and walked away without a second thought. I didn't worry about the mess I left because I knew Commander would take care of it.

In 30 minutes, the place would be spotless and nobody would be able to think a single suspicious thought about it.

I casually exited the warehouse and slid the bracelet off my wrist. It hit the ground once more and I rode off into the dark night back to the mansion again.

After I arrived, I transformed the bike again back into the bracelet and placed it on my wrist. I walked silently around the outside of the house until I stood below my window.

Even from the ground level, I could tell that there was an unwanted presence was in my room...Whatever. Wanted or unwanted, they won't be a threat either way.

I jumped up to the balcony outside my window on the third floor without hesitation; not even worried about the person waiting.

I left the window unlocked before so I just climbed through without an issue. I was met by a sleeping Shu who was currently lying on my bed.

His attempt at unconsciousness was poorly acted as I could easily tell that he was very much awake and just had his eyes close...I should burn the sheets later or something.

I ignored him and grabbed my school clothing. I changed in the room instead of the bathroom since I didn't care if I was seen.

In the military, you don't have the luxury of privacy. Also, I had no reason to be self-conscious of my body, seeing that I'm basically all muscle except for my chest.

Even if I did change in the bathroom and had locked it, they could just as easily teleport in. However, if they were stupid enough to try anything, it would give me an excuse to execute them.

About half-way through changing, I felt eyes on me but continued. It didn't really matter anyway since I already had my bra and jeans on while holding my shirt.

I changed in under a minute and placed my previous clothes in a drawer along with my bracelet. I walked into my closet and placed my weapons in a secure briefcase that can only be accessed by me.

I placed the case in the corner where the outer shell blended into the wall so no one could tell it was there.

Though, the case is somewhat redundant since if someone saw me with my guns in public, they would appear as something else entirely and they would never be the wiser.

Another gadget developed by the military. I exited the closet and was met with the gaze of a pair of bright a** blue eyes.

His headphones were still stuck in his ears but all of his attention was directed towards me. I began to move my feet and his gaze remained on me as I walked towards him calmly.

His expression and body screamed lazy but his eyes told a different story of interest and a slight desire. I reached the bed and looked down at him with lifeless eyes.

"Where were y-"

He didn't get to finish his sentence because I grabbed his collar with one hand and threw him out the door. I grabbed the ear piece off the desk and placed it in my ear.

After it was secured, I followed after the bloodsucker out the door and went to Yui's room.

Instead of finding her alseep, she was wide awake and already changed. She stood in front of the door with her hand held out as if she was about to leave herself.

"Ah, Kaori-san! Good morning! Are you leaving as well?"...I do question if her brain exists. I'm dressed in my 'uniform' and yet she still questions if I'm leaving.

*sigh* Without a word, I stepped away from the doorway and started walking towards the dining hall. I heard her door shut soon after and her footsteps that quickly followed closely behind me.

We arrived and sat down in our respective places. A few of the vampires were already there, including Shu, and the rest came in after us.

The food was served and everyone else ate. This time Yui had no issue eating willingly and remained quiet. Since I didn't touch the food, I just kept my eyes closed and tuned everything else out.

A task that was done easily since the only sound was Kanato's bizarre and unstable comments while talking to the inanimate bear in his hand again.

I felt eyes on me once more but I didn't care to find out who they belonged to. Breakfast ended and we left to the limos. The drive as usual was silent but the eyes never left me.

And, I still couldn't care less. We arrived and the fangirls swarmed around the car in the very next second.

I wonder if they can still scream with my foot down their throats. I exited first and just as I expected, they shut up immediately.

As soon as Yui was out, I stepped through the path the fangirls created for us.

Yui timidly hid behind me while I impassively walked towards the entrance, without acknowledging the glares of the girls surrounding us.

Not even 10 seconds later, their screams erupted once again telling me that one or more of them had exited the limo by now. We entered the building and went out separate ways.

All through class, I felt eyes constantly follow me and I would have been pissed if I actually gave a d*mn. I'll just deal with him later if he tries anything.

Shu's POV - After 01 Left The Music Room

It had only been 5 minutes after Kaori had left the music room and I was completely bored. After playing the piano, I went back to lying on the couch but I didn't put my earbuds back in oddly.

I doubt I would have actually paid attention to it as my mind kept wandering back to her.

Less than a day and she has already plagued my thoughts...What a dangerous woman. I stayed in the music room the rest of the school day and was woken up by the dismissal bell.

Must have fallen asleep again, I guess. I teleported to the limo. Fangirls as usual surrounded me and my brothers, screaming and throwing themselves at out feet. So noisy.

We finally entered and drove off. As we drove, I noticed that only my siblings were inside and we were missing 2 people. I didn't question their absences since I didn't really care and was too tired.

However, there was a small underlying sense of worry and disappointment of her disappearance which confused me somewhat.

I was lost in thought but snapped out of it as the limo jerked to a stop. We exited and went out separate ways. I went straight to my room and took off my sweater and blazer.

I dropped them on the ground and unsurprisingly just laid on my bed. We didn't have to eat dinner together today so I just skipped it and slept through it, waiting for the next school night.

Dream
~~~~~~~
I was laying in bed but I was holding onto something. Better yet, someone. I felt them squirm a bit and began to move away.

Out of instinct, I tightened my grip and opened my closed eyes. The first thing I saw were a pair of beautiful grey eyes looking back at me.

What didn't surprise me was the fact that I was holding Kaori and we were sleeping together but that she was smiling.

She didn't say anything and just looked at. I recognized the expression on her face because I've seen it on countless girls faces as they stared at me.

She looked as if she was in love. I don't know why but I felt like lying here forever with her in my arms.

I found myself slowly dropping my gaze to her lips and that our heads were drawing closer. Just as our lips were about to meet...

Back To Reality

My eyes shot open and was met with the sound of my idiotic brothers fighting with each other through the loud music playing in my ears. So close. I reluctantly sat up and got out from the comfortable bed.

I changed my shirt and put on a clean sweater over it. I hung the blazer on my shoulders again and teleported out of my room only to find myself in her room.

I was curious as to what a girl like Kaori would possess so I began to snoop. I only found clothing and nothing else. Nothing personal could be found in her room.

I was about to open another drawer when I heard the window open. I stopped snooping and teleported onto the bed. I could have just left but I didn't feel like leaving just yet.

...Silence. That was all that could be heard. If the window had opened, then someone must have opened it and entered. Also, meaning I should be hearing footsteps but all I heard was nothing.

I opened my eyes lazily and was met with the sight of a half dressed Kaori.

Shouldn't she be terrified of changing in front of a guy, a vampire nonetheless? But I heard nothing from her heart, no nervousness...not even a beat.

Now that I think about it, wasn't she supposed to have been here already? Since the room was empty, she had to have been somewhere else. Where could she have gone?

I watched in silence and just before she put her shirt on, I saw that she had a giant scar slashed on her lower back. Wonder how she got that.

She finished dressing and walked into her closet holding...stuffed animals? Why do I think that isn't right? Whatever, I'm too tired to figure it out.

She walked back out with the stuffed animals no longer in her hand and her eyes met with mine. I expected her to look away but she just looked at me without fear. Interesting.

She began to move closer to me and I didn't move.

When she finally reached me, I asked her, "Where were y-".

Unfortunately, I wasn't given the chance to finish my sentence as she grabbed my collar with one hand and literally threw me out of her room. She's quite violent, isn't she?

Before I hit the ground, I teleported to the dining hall and waited for breakfast. I sat down and thought over what HD just happened.

Instead of being mad, I was surprisingly slightly amused. She's different from other girls and her behavior is a little entertaining. I waited silently as the others filed in the hall soon after me.

I quietly watched Kaori as she sat down next to Yui. The food was served and everyone ate in silence. I didn't touch my food as usual and I would have kept me head down like always...

...but instead I continued to keep my eyes on her. As I observed her, I noticed things like her small nose, her long eyelashes and her beautiful grey eyes that could peer through any soul.

All day, I watched her. I kept my eyes on her in the limo and during class however she never paid me any attention.

It kind of irritated me that she didn't even take a glance at me. But, the more I watched her the more I kept thinking, 'I want her'.
