-Chapter 38-

-Mia's POV-

Me and James went back into the room where Ze and Becca are. Becca and Ze are on the bed laughing together. Becca then moves her hand on top of Ze's. He takes hold of her hand properly.

"You're so cute." Becca says laughing.

"And you're beautiful." Ze says back smiling "How would you like to go on a date this week?"

Becca giggles.

"Of course!" She says.

I turn to James but before I see him he's out the door. I run after him. He grabs something of the side which I know what it was and it wasn't good. He runs out the door. I follow him. I look up at my bedroom window. You can see Becca and Ze with their arms around each other and then they start kissing. I move my eyes to in front of me. There stands James looking where I was looking. Tears running down his eyes. He continues running. I run after him. Then he turns left into an alley. It's a long alley and he's near the end and I'm near the entrance. I trip suddenly stumbling onto the ground. Unluckily for me there was a broken beer bottle which had gone into my skin causing me to scream in pain. There was glass sticking out of my arm and leg. I quickly pulled them out screaming in pain. Blood was rubbing down my arm and leg. Tears run down my face too. This pain is too much but I need James to be safe. I get up slowly steadying myself. Once I was steady I continued running. I ran and ran not knowing where to go. I soon ended up at this bridge place. Just as I was about to turn back I saw James standing on the edge of the bridge. I ran to the bridge. I notice that he had just thrown the knife to the ground. As his feet left the bridge I leapt for him. I grab his wrist but it was hard trying to keep grip. I left a red handprint around his wrist. We both fell into the water. And unfortunately for me. I skipped my swimming lessons. So. Shit. I struggled to stay above water. I took a deep breath of air and ducked under water. I search for James seeing his legs I swim badly towards him. Just before I reached him something caught my leg. I tried to grab his hand but it slipped out of my grasp. I couldn't breathe anymore. I open my mouth but all I do is swallow more water.

"JAMES!!" I try to scream before blacking out.
