A/N: I wanted to finish the second part of my "Baby Steps", yet also do a little holiday short, so I thought why not put them together! Now I know some of you don't celebrate Thanksgiving (USA), but I still made this enjoyable for all. I hope you like it my lovelies! Have a great day and HAPPY (belated) THANKSGIVING!!
XOXO Megan
Y/N's POV
The sounds of Tyler's and our children's laughter is resonating throughout our home, which is the only reason I'm smiling like a goofball through my stressed out state.
The holidays are my favorite time of year, don't get me wrong, but this is the first year I'm preparing Thanksgiving dinner for our family, which extends to our friends, and I'm silently freaking out.
Whilst preparing one of my famous dishes, I listen to the kids and Tyler playing. They deemed him The Turkey King, as he chased them throughout the house wearing none other than the infamous Turkey costume. Well, more like carried little Lily while chasing Arthur around. When he pulled the dust-covered parcel from our attic, I only laughed and was more than happy to discard of it. My children, including my lovely husband, had other plans. They cleaned up the horid thing and since have forced Tyler to wear it nearly every day.
Cleaning up after myself I felt his familiar presence. I smiled as he wrapped his arms around my waist from behind. I hummed with a smile and leaned back into him. "Hmm... Hello sweetie. It seems you worn the children out, hmm?"
He laughed heartily and quickly kissed my cheek before resting his chin on my shoulder and letting out a sigh. "Ughh...no. It's definitely the other way around. I'm beat! I love little Lily-Bug, but she needs to start walking or I'm going to throw my shoulder out again."
I immediately turned in his arms and gave him a once over. "Tyler Scheid! You know I worry enough about you doing that, why would you say that. You're not allowed to be doing that. You know what the doct-"
He quickly shushed me, pecked my lips and continued. "Beautiful, it's ok! I'm fine. I guess I should've worded that differently. I know my limits, Y/N. You need not worry." He smiles down at me, reassuring me, and then his eyes find my famous dish-Tyler's favorite. "Now what have we got here!"
He quickly started reaching over my shoulder to pick at my delicious dish, but I equally fast smacked away his hands. "Ah-ah! No! Don't you dare!". He gave me the biggest pouty face and I almost caved. Almost. "Tyler?! I can't! Babe, it'll ruin the whole dish! Just a few more hours, hun."
He left out an exaggerated groan of disapproval, yet smiled against me as I pecked his lips. "Fine. I guess I'll whither away to nothing until my beautiful wife decides to feed me!"
"Oh gosh...hun you're sounding like Mark!" We both burst into a fit of laughter as he agreed with me. "But since my starving husband can't contain his hunger, will you taste this for me? It's my first time making it and with everyone coming over and the...". Tyler kissed me silent. He pulled away with a slight smirk and shushed me. Yup, the man shushed me.
"Y/N, how many times must I tell you that everything will be fine for you to believe me? We can do this. Besides, the added stress isn't good for the little one."
"Shhh...you'll spoil our surprise goofball!"
He placed his palm against my barely visible baby bump and smiled. "Mhm, don't worry beautiful. Now what can I do to help?"

Ding dong
"TYLER! TYLER! Can you get the..."
"I'll get it mommy!" Arthur came bounding into sight and then towards the front door.
"Oh. Thank you baby!" I quickly relieved my hands of the steamy dish as I set the last item on the table.
Mark and Amy were always fashionably late, but now with little Charles, they had their hands tied. The kid was too smart for his own good. Only being a couple months older than our Arthur, it was amazing how quickly he grasped things.
Like bad words.
Where Mark found that ever amusing, Amy looked like she was going to combust in place. Poor girl!
Speak of the devil.
"Y/N! Hey girlie! Come here!" Amy embraced me into the tightest hug she could give.
"Hey there caffeine rush!" I nudged her shoulder and sent her a wink. Old habits die hard, so yup, she still has her nickname.
"Oh shush! You know I can't stand this decaf junk right now! Listen I love Charlie and I know our little one here will equally be my angel, but for the love of all things Alien, give me a d*mn coffee!" We both fell into a fit of laughter. As we wiped the tears from our eyes she quickly moved my hand towards her protruding baby bump. "There she is! Or he! We don't know, but I really think she's a girl."
I felt the little one kicking around and couldn't help but feel overwhelmed! I was eager to tell everyone, especially Amy, about our own little surprise.
"Whatever there gender, we already they'll be precious and so intelligent. See, they're already yelling at you for saying no-no words!"
"Oh...I should probably stop that! He or she will come out cursing like a sailor. God knows how many times Mark's slipped in front of Charles." Amy huffed.
"Yeah, well he's a good father Ames...that's all you can ask for right?" I reassured her.
"Definitely! So what can I do to help here?" She looked around the kitchen for something to do.
"Eat darling! That's all honestly. Everything is ready. Tyler, honest to God, knows his way around the kitchen. He was a huge help." I smiled at my husband, whom was standing a distance away.
"I'm happy for you two" she said linking her arm in mine.
"Me too Amy, me too." I rested my head on her shoulder for a moment, just lost in the look in Tyler's eyes. He was happy; I was happy. And I'm so grateful for my family. I step back into reality and step away from Amy. "You know Ames, I'm happy for you two as well. You guys are my family...Thank you for coming over today."
Oh...Y/N/N! Stop it! My emotions are all wacky and I'm blubbering like a baby! Come here!" She embraced me and we cried and giggled into each others shoulders.
We heard the clap of hands and footsteps approach as we were pulling apart. "Alrighty ladies, I'm starving! Chit chat later...OMG!? Amy? Y/N? What's wrong? Is it the baby? Sh*t what can I do?!" Mark started to panic whilst approaching us.
We tried to stop the confusion, when suddenly Tyler was two steps away and wearing the same horrified face. "Y/N?! Is everything alright? Amy? What's wrong? WHY ARE LAUGHING...or are you crying?! Y/N/N?" Simultaneously, Amy & I clamped a hand over our husband's mouths.
I started. "We're fine!"
"Hormones boys!" Amy stated, pointing towards her large baby bump.
A series of relief and realization hit the boys and the laughed at there reactions.
"OK OK! I get it! We can't be 'concerned husband's' or the wives will remind is of it for years to come. Jeezsh!" Mark deadpanned with a slight smirk.
"You bet! And don't you forget it, darlings!" I said and pinched Mark's cheek. He shot me a playful glare, but I can see the humor in his eyes. I stepped closer to Ty, smacked his bum, and shot him a wink. I knew he'd get me back for it, but for the time being he just shook his head and pulled me into his side, kissing my forehead.
"OK for real though? When are we eating?" Mark whined.
We all laughed and gathered around the table.

"And every word of that's true! It's insane isn't it?!" Mark slapped his knee, laughing at his own recall of a family memory.
Mark you're insane!" Tyler replied. "The sad thing is I know this is true. I was there!" Tyler rolled his eyes and smiled at me. We continued chatting amongst one another.
The kids, on the other hand, had long moved to the game rooms and have been there ever since they gobbled up their dessert.
After some more small chit chat, Tyler and I found the time to make our announcement. With a wink, I stood and cleared my throat. Tyler approached me and wrapped his arm around my waist, giving me a reassuring nod.
"So friends and family, there's something else that Tyler and I would like to say. We've known this for a little while, but knowing Thanksgiving was right around the corner, we decided to wait. You guys are our family and we wanted to share in person." I looked up at Tyler and he smiled down at me. "Go ahead." I whispered.
He shook his head with a smile and quickly kissed my lips. With a deep breath he announced that we were expecting our third child. Amy was first to embrace me, amongst the others whom followed. With the immense amount of joy and commotion in the room, none of us had heard the pitter patter of a little one's first steps into the room.
I knew it happened though.
Tyler ran to our little Lily-Bug and broke into happy tears. She had waddled her way into his arms and was tiredly rubbing her eyes.
"Lily! Baby girl you're walking! Guys she took her first steps! She took her baby steps right into my arms." A series of awes broke out across the room and I sat back and watched. Tyler had a look of completeness.
This...This was what I was grateful for.
