"Are the two teams ready?!"the teacher yelled and the class yelled louder in response.

"Ready!!"

"Alright! I will count to three, and the attacks can begin. One..."

Both Nagisa and Karma were on their poles. You were in the defense team, standing close to your pole, protecting it from possible attacks. You were SO against that since you wouldn't fight Karma for the time being, but Nagisa said that if he thought that it was necessary, he would put you to the offensive teams.

All the units of your team were ready. You could feel Karma's eyes on you, and you looked back at him. Seeing him on his pole, with his team around him, you could sense how powerful he was. Well, your team was at a disadvantage considering the fact that his team had Isogai, the best leader of the class and Karma himself, the sadistic strategist. Still, you couldn't let these things affect you. You had to win.

Hiro-kun's identity... even if I never find love, at least I will know his identity... if Akabane says the truth...

"...Two..."

Both Nagisa and Karma had decided to divide the teams into three units: one defensive and two offensive ones. Your best attacking team had Rio, Maehara, Sugino and Kimura.

"Damnit... I was separated from Isogai. I feel like Yukiko has taken my place by his side" Maehara whined silently and you noticed that Sugino was about to cry too.

"I know, right? And now, I have to give up my secret crush on..."

Maehara stared at him and Sugino froze. He couldn't say to Isogai's best friend that he had a crush on Isogai's girlfriend.

"On...on... Isogai!"

You facepalmed yourself, Maehara got a heart attack and the game began after the last word came out of teacher's mouth.

"...Three!!"

And the fight began. The first two offensive teams attacked one another, so the game was intensive from the beginning. That was happening in the middle. You were standing next to the pole with Kayano, right in front of you there was the second offensive team waiting for orders and in front of them the fighting was already taking place.

You saw Nagisa on the pole carefully observing the forming of Karma's team in order to decide what action he would take.

"Sugino, Maehara, attack from the two sides. Kimura, Rio, don't move yet. Y/N..."

You turned your eyes on him.

"Chiba and Hayami are Karma's defenders. They are not good at close combat, but I don't know what Karma has planned. He looks like he has no intention of going down from the pole, that's why in order to defeat him we need to be smart. Me and you will go there. But Karma will realise it quickly. That's why I will stay on the pole until you move to the center of the field, where the main battle is taking place. First you will change places with one of the second offensive team, then with one from the first offensive, and then I will run to you from here and we will approach Karma's pole. Kimura will be close to us."

You nodded, agreeing that it was a good plan; however, something was telling you that Karma had an even better one.

"Rio, change positions with Y/N!"

Rio came behind and you stepped in front, next to Kimura.

"Nagisa!" Kayano said"Me and Rio... why are you putting only girls in the defense?"she sounded unsure.

"Our 3-E class may have a wild spirit, but... our boys wouldn't hit girls, so they will probably sent their girls here. You and Rio are two of the best for this position. Hazama and Yada will also be sent here. Don't worry, Maehara, Sugino and the rest of the offensive teams will be sure to keep the main combat in the middle of the field, away from both poles."

The girls nodded in response, and Rio was pretty confident. Well, she could manage most of the boys in the class, so this was piece of cake for her.

You and Kimura had to wait until Nagisa gave you the signal to move forward. Yada and Hazama were the ones to go back, close to your pole. Now you were in the main battle, so you had to go against  Hinano from Karma's team and Kimura against Terasaka. You hoped you wouldn't be there for a long time, in order to have powers to fight Karma.

When you and Kimura were in a comfortable position, you heard Nagisa's signal and the three of you rushed to the place Karma's pole- and Karma himself- was.

"For the time being, it looks like we are stronger in the main battle" you said to Nagisa and he nodded.

When you were close enough, you noticed Karma looking at the three of you and smiled, as if he had been waiting for that moment.

The plan was for Kimura to bend slightly so that you and Nagisa would jump from his back on Karma's pole and would try to bring it down. However, suddenly Chiba and Hayami attacked only at Kimura.

"What?? Both on me??" Kimura yelled before fighting them.

You and Nagisa looked at each other, and then you realised who your opponents would be.

"Nagisa"

"Y/N"

You turned your heads and saw Isogai walking to Nagisa and Yukiko to you. Of course, Karma had chosen your best friends to fight you.

You little red devil.

You wanted to look back and take a glance at the situation over there, but you couldn't take your eyes away now. Yukiko attacked you and you defended, and at the same time Nagisa was fighting with Isogai.

This was going on for a while, until you managed to throw Yukiko to the ground. You tried to run to Karma, but she grabbed your foot. Right then, Sugino came to your rescue and pulled you away from her.

"Thanks, Sugino!"

At the same time, Maehara saved Kimura so that he could go with you. Nagisa had defeated Isogai but couldn't leave yet, since Karma's reinforces had come.

"Hurry, Kimura, Y/N! Our pole is about to fall!"

Kimura ran first towards the pole, he bent and you stepped on his back to fall on the pole. Karma smirked, grab your hands and threw you to the ground. You were surprised from the gentleness of that move, since it didn't hurt at all.

I guess Akabane wouldn't hurt girls, like Nagisa said.

You noticed that there was no battle anymore. Half of the players were around the one pole, and the other half on the other. It was just a matter of time to see who would win.

Maehara and Sugino tried attacking at the same time, but Karma easily defeated them. When it was Nasisa's turn everyone just stopped doing whatever, even breathing, knowing that he was the most capable opponent for Karma. He made some turns around the pole, slightly confusing Karma and then with Kimura's help he grabbed the pole's upper end and tried to pull it. Karma kicked him and Nagisa's small body soon met the ground too. That was obviously more painful.

You exchanged some glances with Nagisa and the others, and for some reason, you all knew what to do.

Nagisa began moving around the pole again, making Karma being careful of his every move. Then, Kimura bent as if Nagisa would jump again, but no.

When Karma's attention was only on Kimura and Nagisa, you run from behind and with Maehara's help you jumped and grabbed Karma himself. You put your hands on his shoulders and he was surprised to see you there. You moved yourself behind, dragging him with you, but he was tightly holding the pole. The pole was moving to your direction.

Nagisa, Sugino, Kimura and Maehara, after saving themselves from the other team's attacks, they pushed the pole too. Karma was about to battle them, but you were clinging onto him so hard that he couldn't even move anymore.

"So in the end... you came up here..."

Karma murmured to you and he smirked. How could he possibly smile at this situation?

You forced a smile.

"I just love defeating you at times"you replied.

"Or... is it that you took the chance to hold me tightly?"

After hearing that, for some reason, it had a weird effect on you. From Karma's shocked face you knew he hadn't planned it, but still, you slipped, losing your grip from his shoulders. You felt your body falling.
