Chapter Three
“Who’s their”?
The journey of a young witch as they first uncover the presence of their familiar or guide is a universal experience. Initially, they are unaware that a connection exists; an entity from the great beyond is attempting to reach out, yet the young witch remains oblivious to these signs at first.
Bailie looked all around her unorganized room, desperately trying to find the source of the sudden sound. She could not find anything.
Experiencing a perpetual mental darkness can leave anyone feeling as though their mind is blank or obscured. The chaotic sounds served as her mental blindfold, creating a profound sense of confusion — It was akin to searching for a crucial piece of a puzzle within an entirely different game.
She almost got light headed just trying to figure out the source of the sound.
“Maybe I just need to clear my head and drink something”, Bailie Undertone thought to herself.
To alleviate a headache, it is often recommended to consume a beverage, and this approach is frequently effective. However, this does not apply to Bailie.
Once making her way down the dark stained wooden stairs towards her small kitchen, the sound grew slightly louder.
It wasn't something. It was someone.
This entire situation was pushing the young witch to the brink of insanity.
Bailie Undertone was aware of the stories that had been passed down from her mother and various others. But was this the beginning of something insane?
Would the heavenly journey ultimately prove to be worthwhile?
She was uncertain.
Young Bailie was nearly collapsing, trembling from the voices in her head. She needed to take a deep breath instead of nearly panicking.
She needs to compose herself before a serious incident occurs.
For example, young Bailie Undertone dying from either a heart or panic attack.
“Dear God please let this be over”, She leaned against the kitchen sink, hoping the headache and the voices would cease.
To achieve a clear mind for assessing the situation thoroughly.
Once again the voices grew, not louder but clearer. More easier to figure out if the voice was either male or female. Maybe she could have everything make sense.
“Come on Bailie”, she muttered to herself. “Get it together”.
A brief time elapsed before she could comprehend what the voice was conveying to her.
The male voice was calming the young witch as she listened to his words. Almost elevating her calmer mood in spirit.
“Do not be afraid”.
Bailie Undertone did not fear this male voice as one fears the dark. She felt more nervous and intrigued by this voice than by anything else.
She sought to identify the source of the voice to determine whether it was a friend or foe.
“Who are you”?
Suddenly, a radiant beam of light illuminated the room, gradually transforming into a human-like figure. The young witch could only perceive a human-like figure composed of pure light, akin to observing a shadow.
Gradually, the light diminished in intensity, unveiling Bailie Undertone’s guide.
Her mentor or teacher, guiding the young witch in discovering her powers.
Her guardian angel.
"Oh, darling, no need to quake in your boots, Bailie. I'm here to help unveil just what kind of holy witch you really are. Consider me your guide on this... delightful little journey."
She was astonished to see who was standing right in front of her. The entire situation felt like a dream.
“What’s your name”?
The angel gazed at the young witch with gentle eyes and offered a smile.
"I'm Michael, the Archangel. It's truly a pleasure to finally make your acquaintance".
