Chapter 6

——
Guy POV
Two Weeks Later

"Dude can you stop."

"We're about to meet the White Queen. What do you mean stop." Markie says, getting even more excited.

Kit chuckles, shaking his head.
"I haven't seen you this excited about something in a while."

"The White Queen is the most powerful werewolf in state. Ranked Second after the Alpha King because he's well...King. However she is powerful."

"Why exactly can she do?" I ask and the idiot literally squeals.

"People say that every wolf in the pack is a white wolf. Their natural wolf abilities slightly heightened than that of a regular wolf." He explains.
"They're faster, stronger, their wolves are also a little bigger in size." I hum, taking in the information.

"The White Queen however is different. No one knows exactly what power she possesses but we do know that she is Queen for a reason. Her abilities are unmatched. That's why the Alpha King needed her as an ally and not an enemy." He says.

"We're here Alpha." Our driver says and we look ahead of us. We've been driving in forest for what felt like hours.

X'cya told us that once we get on the concrete road just keep driving straight. That felt like hours now, since we've been driving in an never ending road of just trees. Kit's father is keeping watch of the pack until we return, so we can all come on this little trip.

We look ahead of us, the trees on either side of us coming to an end as we approach what seemed to be the pack. A very huge pack by the way.

It's as if hearing our car, two large white wolves, walk out the tree lines. Coming to stand in the center of the road.

We stop the car and they walk on either side of us, sniffing the car.

"They're huge." Markie says watching them in awe.

They walk back to the front, letting out a loud howl. That seemed to shake the car.

Jh'maia POV

We're preparing the office for Guy, his Alpha and Gamma's arrival. X'cya has not been able to sit still since. She's nervous and it was getting on Mickiyah's nerves.

We hear Garve's howl, letting us know that they're here.

"Oh he's here!" She shouts running out the room.

"I think I'm gonna be sick." Mickiyah says, faking a barfing. I shake my head and we walk out after her.

Walking out the pack house, we watch as their car drove up the circular road. A few pack members stopping to watch.

Our pack had a total of one hundred and ninety nine people. That includes children. We're all looking forward for the baby that would be the first to officially make us two hundred.

The pack was a good size pack. After passing our guards at the front entrance you drive a little more down our hedged path before you can fully see the pack. The Pack house standing at the center of the community.

Our Academy on the left, with the athletic field we had built for them to it's right. The Academy was here already when I arrived. Told that it was built seeing as they were always on the run and couldn't settle long enough to have the kids admitted to a school. However since the alliance that I made with the Alpha King, it has finally given us hope.

Some are trained doctors, others lawyers and some teachers. Others have ventured out for the first time, and some have joined other packs because of their mates since the alliance. It didn't only revolutionize us, but it expanded our borders.

Now our school took part in events and competitions outside of the pack. Tournaments and so many other things.

On the right side of the pack house, we had the more of the personal housing, for those family's that didn't want to live in the pack house. Our small medical building not to far as well. We rarely ever used it for casualties, seeing as we healed a lot faster than the regular wolf; even then, we still had skilled doctors and nurses that graduated top of their ranks working there, and fulfilling their practices.

To the middle of the entire neighborhood was a big fountain, that we all agreed to have as a memorial for Queen Caroline, with simple marking of our former leaders names carved into it as well.

Guy jumps out the car and X'cya runs to him but freezes when we hear a strained howl. Mickiyah immediately takes off running, and we follow behind her. Coming to a pause a little way pass the tree line.

"What's going on Cedrick?"

"She keeps screaming her child's name. She said they went on a run together and now they can't find her." He reports. I watch as a man and woman held unto each other crying out for their daughter.

"Tell us carefully what happened." I say walking up to them.

"Hailey wanted to go for a run together, so we did." She cries.
"We were coming back when a fog suddenly appeared around us. We didn't know what was happening, but when we got back awareness she was gone."

"We thought to look for her ourselves, but we can't find her anywhere." He says, holding unto his frantic wife.

I look forward through the trees.

"Could he be here?"

"I wouldn't be surprised. He has been showing up a lot more recently."

"Jh'maia what do we do?" I raise my hand, quieting them. I take a step forward, sniffing the air.

I see something shift and I growl.
"Rollon, if you have the little girl give her back."

A low chuckle fills the air, before he walks out.
"I could never get anything past you, could I Jh'maia?"

"If you have the child, let her go. She is innocent."

"Well aren't you one to talk about innocence. Bring her here." He says and a boy walks out, holding the girl in his hands.

"Hailey!!" Her mother shouts, trying to go to her.

"Stay back." He says pulling her from the boy. He holds tightly unto her arm, causing her to whimper in pain.

"Please don't kill her. She's just a child." Her father begs.

"You don't want to do this Rollon." I tell him, but he only laughs.

"You know what I want? I want the chain." My face hardens and he smirks.

" And unless I get it, this precious girl will die because of it." He says pushing her back over to the boy.

I watch the boy carefully, sensing fear and anger from him.

"Why do you do this?" His face hardens, a look of pure hate overtaking it. He growls deeply, not answering my question. And it causes Rollon to laugh.

"I did not kill her Cane." His eyes widen in disbelief and his hold slackens on Hailey and she begins to run, but he catches himself, pulling her back to him.

Rollon looks irritated at his mistake, but remains calm.
"Don't try these mind games you play Jh'maia." I ignore Rollon, keeping my eyes on the boy. If I could just get him to see truth.

"Her name is Susie." His eyes fill with tears.
"He told you, I killed her. That he tried to save her from me." He looks to Rollon, who began to look nervous.

"Don't believe her boy. I was right there when she did it!"

"But you said when you got there she had already killed her." We all look to him.

"Why would I kill an innocent wolf Cane. She was weak and wounded badly when we found her near our border."

"Don't listen to her boy. Give me the girl."

"Please Cane." He looks to me, before glancing back at Rollon. He lets go of Hailey and she runs straight into her parents arms. When Rollon makes a move to get her, Cane grabs unto him, causing them both to fall.

"You fool!!" He pushes him off of him, before getting unto his feet. Taking out another one of the bombs he had, he throws it unto the ground and the entire air fills with the grey fog.

I watch as he runs off back into the woods. My men run over to Cane, holding him captive. Hailey now safely in the arms of her parents.

"Thank you Queen Jh'maia!" I smile to them. Giving Hailey's head a little rub.

"Why don't you three head to Dr. Jones and let him look over her." They nod standing to their feet, Marcus going with them.

"What should we do with him Queen Jh'maia?" I look to the boy, who held his head down.

"Take him to Ms. Fiona. Let her register him in the system." His head shoots up and he looks at me with tears in is eyes.

"Are you sure?" X'cya asks and I nod.

"I'm positive." They walk off with him, the sound of his soft cries heard as they passed.

"Ms. Fiona's adopted daughter's name is Susie." Mickiyah states and I smile at her.

I turn around, looking to Guy and his Alpha who stood behind us. His eyes, locking with mines. I feel a strong urge fill me and I push my hair behind ears feeling blushing.

"We couldn't all be mates with each other right?" Mickiyah says and I look to her, and then to a ecstatic red head hair man.

Hmm.
