A: In the Indian Ocean. Off the coast of central East Africa. In Tanzania.

A: More of an ancient city. 

Q: Is Zanzibar different from The Mara?
A: Yes. The thrills of Zanzibar are synonymous to that of many luxurious Caribbean islands, and less like the wildlife safari that the Mara is. 

Q: What is Zanzibar famous for?
A: Exotic Beaches, spice plantations, home to endangered species and a rich history. 

Q: Is it hot in Zanzibar?
A: September is a wonderful month on the island. The seas are warm, the days are sunny but the breeze is cool.

Q: Is it safe in Zanzibar?
A: One of the safest tourist destinations in Africa. But vigilance should not be overlooked.

A: Park Hyatt Hotel, Shangani street, Stone Town, Zanzibar Island.

A: We visited a spice and fruit plantation.

A: Toured without a guide, got lost within the city and watched the sunset.

A: No.
