And then she stared at his lips and droplets of tears flew from her eyes. 'I've been oblivious this entire time. But it really has been you that I love. I've been so stupid, I can't believe myself. You been right in front of me and I just ignored you. ...How could I? You've been in front of my eyes and been in love with me this entire time and looked what I did to you. I hurt you as much so. Would you forgive me?'

The tan skinned one begin to smile embracing her in a endearing hug. He kissed her ever so gently and a warm buzzing feeling sparked through both of their veins. 'Catherine, my dear I've been waiting for you to tell me this since we were twelve and now fourteen years later you finally realized it is me and I couldn't be even happier. My love, would you do the honors and unite your life with mine as then shall walk through the lane as we tie this knot fusing us together until death shall we part?'

Rain was pouring out from Catherine's eyes and she-

"It's been like ten minutes. What could be taking them that long? They are just drying off right and not taking a whole bath in there right?" I thought out loud.
I put a bookmark in the book The Tales of Catherine Velvetine de Amoris by Lottie Doux and closed the book. I started reading after Miracine all of the sudden ran to dry her brother off. It strike me as something odd, but I will ignore it for now.

"Eh, who knows." Ashton just shrugged, "Though this whole thing was a bit weird, abnormal if you ask me."

"Yeah and did you see that blue light that shined?" I stated. Now that I think about it there was a necklace or a pendant. I need to talk to Seivon. But first I have one more subject to study.
"He seems so mysterious. Too bad you don't know him Kaisa, if you did then maybe..." I looked at her grinning.
As much as I ship her with Ash, there was something juicy going on between them.

"We are not having this conversation." Kaisa told me flatly.

Malseania choose that excellent time to speak up, "Light? A blue light you say? I didn't see any." Malseania innocently put on a confused mask while sweetly twittering her fingers.
She had a petite figure with what seems to be an innocent and sweet girl who been through a lot, but now I don't know.

"It could have been just from the water." Kaisa told me, but it seems odd.

I stared at Kaisa and grinned. Subject change!
"Kaisa I believe that I was mistaken and he is not into you, but Miracine!"
Kaisa then widen her eyes and started laughing. I stood there with my arms crossed, "What do you not believe me?"

"No, it's just that most people he thinks of like a sister or brother," Kaisa told me and I could only think she was just saying that.
Hmmmmm.

"I think I'm going to go check on them!" I decided.

"Hey now, you don't know where she is right now and what if you find her and she is angry so she takes it out on you?" Kaisa asked a bit worried.

"Yeah," Malseania nodded her head, "That could be dangerous. I mean you can go if you want but..."

"I can handle anyone facing sadness!" Melody declared and started running off to find her.

Ashton sighed, "Come on, let's go then."

Malseania smiled, "Alright, I'm coming too!"

"But didn't you not like Miracine? Why would you care about her?" I turned to Seivon's girlfriend in question.
I do not trust Malseania at all. And I don't know what happened even if she was in some weird state where the water tried to strangle her till she drowned, I still can't help but believe she is blaming Miracine just because she doesn't like her.
Then she decided to get all of the water off her by getting it on Mira's brother which is totally uncool.

When Mira left, Mal apologized telling us how they reminded her of someone who used to be 'so endlessly terrible' to her and couldn't help but think it was them. But I wouldn't fall for that nonsense or lies.
I am so use to Seivon's crap now that comparing Malseania's reason to that is just rubbish. Seivon acted as if it was all fine after she apologized, but I guess being her boyfriend he is going to forgive her.

"What? You're mistaken Mel. I absolutely adore both of them..." Malseania trailed off saying how she likes them.
Am I the only one that can see her lies. I really want to help Miracine show her true self. If she is as terrible and has the power of threats as Mira says.

"Well anyway, I'll go see if Mira is fine." I need to find out more.

This will be weird.

"Miracine? Are you in here? It is me, Melody and everyone else.... You been in there for awhile." I tried to turn the handle, but it wouldn't budge. It is as if she isn't hiding anything at all...

"Oh!" I heard her voice through the door, "Yes I am here. It is just this stuff is so hard to get off. Why did Malseania even do that?" She shouted back at us.

"Mal," I turned to Malseania, "Mira wants to know why you threw that stuff on her and her brother. Apparently it is hard to get off."

"You know what else is hard-" Facepalm.

"Don't even finish that sentence. Boys...." I muttered mentally banging my head on wood. You know that scene from Rode to El Dorado where one of the main dudes were banging their head on wood. Yeah that is me.

"What?!" I heard Miracine exclaim, "No, you cannot play... No!... I don't care, you are not....." I heard a loud sigh, "Just because she is hot?..... That is ridiculous!....I ....no...Just focus on getting dry." I heard Miracine mutter inside the bathroom.
Was she with her brother?

All of the sudden the door opened and there stood Miracine with her brother. "Why didn't you go separately?"

Before they could answer my question a voice interrupted us."It was easier in one place, right?" Kaisa suddenly say.

"At-" Miracine nudged her brother. "If your here, than I might enroll at this place too!" Her brother gleamed looking at Kaisa.

"lad Pa-perfect....." As Kaisa groaned, her hand slapped her forehead.

"I know, I am quite perfect!" A grin made its way to his face beaming at her. We all looked at one another knowingly. Is Mira's brother flirting with Kaisa?
I always shipped her with Ashton, but this is just funny. She seems to hate him with passion, but you know what they say. Complete opposites attract.

"Woah-woah what's going on?!" Ashton looked liked he just witness someone die. Is he jealous? Ohmigowsh! I mentally scream. This is so exciting.
If he is jealous then he might make a move on her and then they will fall in love and get married....Well maybe not quite that far yet, but high school dating is the thing to start off with for them.

"But I say," Miracine's brother spoke again, "You must have been very worried for me if you gathered up your courage and came here.". Kaisa then made a face. Suddenly she swung her arm back and punched him.
"Arghh, are you serious Isa?!" The dark haired brother exclaimed, holding his side of the face where she punched. He sighed, "Fine Kaisa jeez. I was just messing with you. You seems so serious and numb all the time, I thought you could use it."

"Not from you," she glared at him flatly.

I was shocked, this is some tea. "Oh snap!" I commented. Miracine's brother then gave me a dirty look.

"I'm so glad I have some popcorn, Mels!" Ashton grinned next to me.
Every morning, every evening, and night I like in bed and think where does the popcorn come from? In my dreams, I wonder the same.

"Why are they fighting?!" Seivon whispered yelled at me who was just confused as a newborn chicken.

"No idea," I shrugged, "but it's built up tension that's for sure."

"Is it se-"
I stopped him before he could finish.

"Don't even go there." I stated with my arms crossed.

At that moment, Ashton spoke up, "Naw, I disagree," Ashton grinned, "They are just having a brother-sister fight since he thinks everyone is like a sibling to him just as Kaisa told us."

Miracine's brother widen his eyes, "What did you say?!" He gasped, clearly offended.

So I was right and Kaisa was making up crap. I then grinned, "Oh he was just saying how you think of everyone as your sibling," I nodded, "Kaisa told us earlier."

"Miracine?" Kaisa turned to her, "Why on earth was Mivozene here? I thought I made it clear the last time we talked." She sounded very annoyed.

"What are you referring to?" Miracine asked the girl cluelessly.

"Don't make me say it out loud, it's embarrassing enough as it is." Kaisa turned her head away.
Oooh now I want to know!

"What? The fact your bestfriend's brother flirts with you endlessly?" She said nothing for awhile. I was sipping that tea.

"What?" She gave Miracine a 'are you crazy' look. Kaisa sighed shaking her head. "It is because he doesn't go here and isn't suppose to be here."

"Oh I was looking for him all day because Mivozene told me he was going to show up and I knew at once he was going to cause trouble," Miracine state boredly as if it was obvious.

"Oh Mina you don't have to lie you know. You could have just said you had no idea why he was here," She spoke in a sweet voice.
But I was shocked, she didn't believe Mira. That was a first. I never seen this side of Kaisa before.
But Miracine was trying to get him to leave. "Unless you had an idea why but you didn't want to say. I mean that's okay. We're both good at that."

"LIAR?! What do you mean?" She jumped up, eyes wide, and everything. Miracine calm persona flipped 180 and she was totally distressed.

Her brother, who was still there, despite everything they said looked at Kaisa, "Are you patronizing her?" He genuinely looked a bit upset with Kaisa.

"See I told you she had so-" Malseania always jumps at any moment to make her look bad.

"You know what exactly I mean." Kaisa interrupted Malseania ignoring her in the process. "It is really a pity, I thought you would agreed to be careful and not get caught."

"I....I am sorry. I won't be be foolish person again." I didn't exactly understand. But it seemed they had something going on that they didn't want anyone else to know.
Does Mira know about Kaisa being not a human?

A large silence came between us. It made everything awkward and uneasy. Usually with several of our outgoing and easy to talk to personalities, we never feel as if there is a moment of silence, but this serious tension between several of our members makes it hard to form a conversation.
The original three of us are the only members without a problem.... Okay that is a lie. I kinda have a problem with Mal, but she doesn't know that.

Miracine smirked at the two before leaning up to her brother, whispering something in his ear. Then he finally left and Miracine looked as if a weight has been lifted off her.

"Are...." I begin but stopped. I need to talk to Seivon. "Sei....Can I talk to you about that project?" He looked confused. Don't tell me, he forgot...

"What project?" He says dully. Of course he forgot because Seivon is a really dumb boiled egg.
"Don't tell me, you need my help to study?!" He asked smugly.

"What, no!" I shook my head, "The personal one about several individuals and their whereabouts."

"Ohhh that one. Uhhh..." He looked at everyone who were fighting. "Yeah... sure." Yeah, that one. Seivon warily looks back in forth between Miracine and Kaisa.
Seivon widen his eyes, "Oh yeah! Okay let's go." He leaned over and kissed Malseania on the cheek before leaving.

"Ash," Melody pointed to him, "You're in charge, don't ruin this.". I really hope I don't regret saying that.

He put his hand in a military solute position, "Yessir!" Then he turned to us excitedly, "It's model time?"
Ashton exclaims over energetic. Why am I already regretting it? But if I made anyone else, it would be chaotic.

We walked a distance away going to a secluded, vacant classroom. Thankfully this particular room was a room that hasn't been used in a few years. It's an old classroom. And it makes sure the sound doesn't reach the outside.

"My-my if that wasn't awkward, I don't know what was." Seivon laughing showing his adorable smile as he scratched his head.

Melody, focus. He has a girlfriend remember?

And you currently trying to help your other friend to kinda win him over.

Well not really, but you get the jest. Wait, who is you? Who am I? 'I am the great powerful Mushu'

Sorry brain that I am talking to. Jeez I love quoting movies.

"Yeah, but I want to know what do you think about Miracine and her brother?" I state. There was something about them that was odd.

"Wait....you think they aren't human?" He blinks twice. He really doesn't suspect either of them of being strange yet?

"No....well... I'm not sure, but they were acting odd." I furrowed my eyebrows, " lus how do you explain what happened to Malseania? I don't think they had anything to do with what happened, but some unhuman stuff happened" I pressed his lips in a thin line.

"Like a deamon spirit?" A deamon what now?

"And that is...." I asked, drawing my voice out.

"Oh ummm..." He rubbed his neck awkwardly. "Just some type of thing that isn't human that are after mermaids or some item they have..."
He told me vaguely. It was like he was trying to make sure I didn't find certain things out.

"Did your mermaid fling tell you that?" I asked sweetly.

His eyes dropped down before he nodded. "She's not just a fling, she really is.....great." He sighed dreamily. I felt my heart crumble when said that. He got it bad.
And I got it worse. But I just need to find somebody, someone to help me get over him. My best friend.

"If she is important to you than why are you with Malseania? Have you been cheating on her with-"

"No!" He shook his head, but then his face fell sadly. "I haven't actually seen her since I met Malseania. She is not there anymore and I thought that Malseania is her, but now I'm not so sure."
It makes sense, after he met her she never saw her afterwords. But he isn't sure now, why?

"But you think what happened today was from those spirit things?" I asked just to make sure again.

"Absolutely." And do I believe him? Yes, yes I do.

"And then it suddenly stopped when Mira and her brother appeared. Or maybe it was Kaisa that stopped them since she disappeared as soon as it started. But she could've disappeared because of the water." I muttered in deep thought.
"But if it was Mira and her brother than they would have to be mermaids, I mean they seem close and that argument out there could be something along those lines, but then again it could just be something different." I sighed, I was confusing myself at this rate.
"And Kaisa seems to be close to the mermaids and you said the mermaid you know is close to Kaisa. She seems to like Malseania and get along with her better than any of us, well besides you of course. But that is because you and her are dating." I suddenly thought of something.
"Buttttt......... Miracine could also just know about Kaisa or accidentally found out. Or Mira could be a sea thingy spirit or whatever..." I blushed when I realized I was just ranting.

"Now that I think about it..... Malseania and Miracine look similar. There must be a reason." He turned towards me, "No, I think I know why if is probably because Miracine is really related to Malseania and they fight because they don't get along!" He exclaimed like he solved everything. That is a bit farfetched.
I know they aren't related.

"I don't know if they are," I state, "I remember telling Mira about her and she had no idea who Mal was. But if they are both related that makes them both mermaids along with Mira's brother."

"And they were both in the restroom for awhile." He notes.

"But they said it took forever to come off." I said, still unsure if that was the case or not.

"Have you ever heard of lying?" Seivon threw my arms up, "Malseania got it off easily. I feel so bad that I wasn't paying attention and that happened. I should've gotten her out of the way and let myself get into the leakage from the pipes."
That's right.

"But I have to admit seeing someone flirt with Kaisa was hilarious. She seemed to hate him ever so much." I grinned at Seivon.

"No one has ever done that to her. Well that because when your friends with both me and Ashton nobody messes with you."
He laughed, "Well that's mainly because Ashton gets jealous."

"Yeah..." I say quietly, "What if he likes her? Ohmigowsh! They would be so cute!" I exclaim jumping up and down.

"You do realize I am not a girl, right? And if Ashton actually does like her why would Kaisa like him when she is a mermaid?" She would care about that?
That might be a problem. She could literally sink the ship.

"You girls seem to care about those stuff, eh?" He smiled showing his adorable smile.

"I guess...but you and Ashton don't care at all." I shrugged, "Both of you are mainly players."

"Ughhh for the last time I am not! Those are just stupid rumors people lied about. Some people liked me and I didn't know. When I realized they did, I told them that I didn't want to be with them and they never hanged out with me again. And if I decided to try it out to see what happened, they would want to use me for fame because of my parents..."
He looked down sadly. Now I feel a bit bad. "But somebody stupid started all these annoying rumors."

"Wow...Really? Why didn't you say anything before?" He shrugged.

"It was no use and Melody. Did you forget that I have an actual girlfriend now and I am not going to cheat on her?" He sighed,
"Now that I think about it, you have never been one to like any guys. Ashton swears he think you are into girls, but I know the truth. Who is the guy you've been obsessed with all these years?" I was taken aback by his question.

"W-w-what?" I felt my heart beat twice as normal speed and my face heat up. "I don't know what you're talking about." I turned away.

"Hey maybe if you tell me I could help you as long as he isn't know for people hating on him." Seivon is always there for me even in a time like this?
Don't worry he is not, he isn't perfect. He can't handle sadness, but will always be there for you. He has flaws like a normal person, but for some reason I like him.

"We need to focus, so how do we find out if they are really mermaids?" I change the subject quickly as possible.

"Fine if you are uncomfortable with that subject, I won'y push it. As for finding out....we can go ask them." I stared at him blankly. I can just imagine it:

'Hey Mira and Mal, I just got a funny idea. Are you mermaids?'

"Seivon!" I exclaimed, "You can't just go up to someone and ask are you a mermaid!"

"But what if they are and they tell us." He reasons with me and I deadpan.

"But what if they aren't and we look stupid.". I exclaimed with my arms on the air.

"I never look stupid, besides you'll be the one asking them. Since you have been watching them and came up with this project, I say you should." I groaned.
Of course he'd ask me to.

"Wait..." I just realized, "Does that mean I'll have to follow them and wait until they go into the ocean to swim around?!"

"Or you can just like splash some water on them on an 'accident' and secretly follow them behind for five minutes." Seivon states, "If it is longer than five minutes they aren't mermaids."

"Wait but earlier today Malseania-"

"Yeah..." he trailed off, "I know and I don't know who she is, but she seems to be trying to make me think it was Violet. At first I was trying to tell myself that it was under five minutes, but now..." He sighed.
I guess that is what has been wrong. He isn't sure if it is her. I would feel sorry for her, but since she was rude to some of us I am not. Usually I'd hate if anyone uses people, but this is a different case.

There was a period of silence. "Ummm I guess we should go back."

"Yeah, let's go. And I'm glad we are doing this." As exited the building I suddenly thought of something.

"By the way, I think I will be able to figure out Miracine. Don't mention this to anyone- not even Malseania, but she is coming to my house and maybe I can find that out." I told Seivon.

We headed into the hallway, but they weren't there. We heard a distant yell coming from outside and went to see what was happening.
There was Ashton with Malseania, Kaisa, and Miracine. He and Malseania was trying to get them to wear clothes. I mean they already were wearing clothes, but both of them was trying to get them into different ones.

"Look I am not wearing that skimpy two piece kind of thing!" Miracine was furious. She glared at Malseania who just laughed dryly out loud.

"Why not? It will be something different. You both are always wearing the same things."

"We don't want to wear skimpy swim wear!" Kaisa crossed her arms, nose up in the air. Now they were agreeing, huh?

"Wait, what are you guys arguing about now?" Seivon announces our presence.

"You should both wear them." Ashton insists again.

"I knew I'd regret leaving you in charge...." I muttered, lowering my head.

"Don't tell me...." Ashton trailed off, "You're embarrassed and think you both have terrible bodies. But really you both probably have amazing bodies."
That sounds exactly like it came from a book. Has he been reading romance novels?!

"No it's just that we...." There was a moment of silence as we waited for Mira to continue.
"....have designs on our skin."

I heard Malseania in her red two piece suit and tan towel gasped loudly. "Your suicidal!?"

"What? That isn't the case," Kaisa stated firmly.

"Yes, you've been mistaken...." Miracine lowered her head shyly, "It is just kinda like a tattoo marking of my family symbol. Yo-Kaisa has one as with her family as well." Malseania always assuming the worse.

"Choose a color...Both of you." Ashton completely ignored their reason and asked them anyway.

"Violet." Miracine whispered.

"Icy blue." Kaisa also stated.

"Eh? Why those colors?" I looked at them still trying to figure things out.
I have a theory of things, but I am not ready to share it yet.

"Violet...like purple?" Seivon raised an eyebrow questioning her. Does that mean something to him?

"Violet like violet. It's my favorite." Miracine smiled sadly looking at him. My other theory is confirmed, but I still want to keep it to myself.
Ash, I really want to thank you for all of this.

"Those colors really speak to us." Kaisa whispered.
They ended up not wearing them, much to Ashton and Malseania's dismay.

It was the end of the day and I heard someone next to me make a sound. "Ermmmhn!" That person stretched. It was either Ashton or Miracine.
We three were walking together while Malseania and Seivon walked home together arm to arm and head to head. Kaisa didn't want to be a third wheel and left before any of us.

"Well, I'll be seeing you ladies until we meet again my beloved sweethearts of my angelic dreams from outer space and entire the universe, I shall always love you.......!" Ashton exclaimed dramatically.
Miracine gave him a look like he is crazy. She looked like she was about to murder someone with her eyes, but before she could say anything I stepped in.

"See you later Ashton, but I think you need to tell that to Kaisa." I smirked to him in which his face instantly heated up. Avoiding embarrassment, he quickly headed off.

"He is so weird. One minute I thought I understood him and then codfish! He does something bizarre." I laughed at how she was trying to analyze him.
One simply can't just analyze Ashton. He is a mixed of wacky and crazy things. I swear he hit his head and afterwords he became a nutbrain.

I stepped in front of a building, opened the door of my family home and tilted my head. "Welcome to my house, Mira."
