"Really, you didn't think to tell me you were a Vampire?" You shook your head, heading for the door. You weren't angry as such, just annoyed that Elijah hadn't told you. It was a pretty big thing to find out by yourself. From Damon Salvatore.
"I didn't want to enter you into a world as complicated as mine," Elijah sped in front of you, blocking the door handle.
"You decided to become friends with me." You rolled your eyes. "That means you entered me into your world, 'Lijah."
"Y/N please, I can not endanger you," Elijah sighed.
"And I can't be kept on the dark." You moved to walk past him.
"My siblings would kill you, my enemies torture you." Elijah took hold of your arm. "I would never want that for you, Y/N."
"Then what do you want?" You snapped. "Because if our friendship isn't going to work if you keep dodging what's really going on."
Elijah frowned. "What do you mean?"
"I mean, you're avoiding the real reason you don't want me around, it's something else I know it is." You opened the door. "Let me know when you want to tell me what it is."
"Don't leave, please." Elijah moved in front of you again.
You pushed your hair out of your face. "Give me one good reason why I should stay."
"Y/N I don't-"
"Then I don't need to stay," you whispered, pushing past him. "Goodbye Elijah."
"No." He grabbed your hand, twisting you around to face him. "You're not leaving me."
His lips met yours in a frantic movement. You stood dazzled before wrapping your arm around his neck, pulling him closer. Your tongues danced together before you pulled away. "That's still not a reason, 'Lijah."
"I love you, Y/N, that's why you can't leave."
"I suppose that's good enough," you laughed, pulling him in for another kiss.
