Levi's POV

Why..?

I instantly recognized the (h/c) hair,as her eyes were shut,but having blood over them,as I gritted my teeth tighting the grip on the handles.

Was it because of what I told her last time,that she went on taking (Y/n)?!
So she can fucking mock me?!

I sliced her arm making my way to her face,as I stuck my two blades on her eyes,blinding her,as I ejected the blades.I backed away changing the blades,as I cutted her joints on her legs making her fall backwards,as she used her other arm to cover her nape.I sliced the muscles on her arm,as it went limp, while the other clutched on (Y/n).

The raven haired girl was going for the nape,as I tried to stop her,but she didn't listen,as the titan raised her arm holding (Y/n) towards her.I stopped the hand with my leg,as my ankle snapped making me wince,but I ignored it slicing the titans mouth.It opened,as Eren came out with saliva covering him,as I grabbed him with one arm and the raven haired saw (Y/n),as she grabbed her while we both went away.

"We're getting out of here!!",she followed me,with worry in her eyes,as she eyeded Eren,while carrying (Y/n), "He's okay!Alive,anyway...dirty though.Forget about her..we're leaving!Don't lose sight of our objective.Unless satisfying your own desires overrides that?We got your precious friend back, didn't we?",I ask,as she looks down, "I did it mostly for Jen..she loves Eren..",she says,sadly,as I eye the female titan getting wide eyeded when I saw tears streaming down her eyes,as we made our way back.

We arrived towards the formation,as Hanji runs towards,us looking at (Y/n) and Eren,"What happened?!",she shouted,as I placed Eren on the floor, "It was the female titan..",she nods, as she looks at (Y/n)'s bloody clothes, and brings her to a cart raising the hem of her shirt,"Levi..some of her ribs are broken..",Hanji says,looking at me sadly,as I grit my teeth,"This is the third time already..".I felt like breaking down there,but I denied it,as I sat on the cart placing (Y/n)'s head on my lap and Hanji started to wrap bandages by her ribs.

I looked to my side seeing the raven haired girl walk towards another cart, carrying Eren,with another cadet,as they lay him down while a mixed colored haired girl,that was sleeping, wakes up and see's Eren wide eyeded

I think she's Jen,the one (Y/n) was talking about..

"I saved him,with the Corporal, for you Jen..",the raven haired said, giving her a small smile,as Jen placed Eren on her lap,shedding tears,while stroking his hair,"T-Thank you, Mikasa..Thank you!!",she shouted, crying,as tears were falling down on Eren's face.

She wasn't lying after all..

Hanji finished bandagging (Y/n),as she got off the carrige and closed the end while we all started to head towards the wall.I looked at (Y/n) while she was breathing softly,as I moved strands of hair from her face.

How come she always get's hurt
Why can't I be the one getting hurt..?

I felt her shift,as her eyes slowly openned for me to meet dull (e/c) eyes, "L-Levi..?",she called for me,as I hummed in response.Her eyes then filled up with tears,as they fell from the corner of her eyes,"P-Petra she..s-she..",(Y/n) said,between hiccups,as I stroked her hair,"(Y/n),I know..","I-I'm sorry I couldn't save them..!", she half shouted,while putting her arm over her eyes to cover them,as then a two titans were comming towards us.

(Y/n) slowly sat up when she heard one shout saying that they should throw the deceased bodies away,so it would slow them down.They did as told,as me and (Y/n)'s eyes landed on a strawberry haired female body.(Y/n) tried to jump off the carrige,but I wrapped my arms around her holding her tight,as she struggled.

"NO!STOP!!PETRA DOESN'T DESERVES THIS!!DON'T TAKE HER AWAY!!LEVI,PLEASE LET ME GO!!LEVI!!!",(Y/n) kept crying, pleading to me to let her go,and prying on my sleeve,so I would let her go.I couldn't take the ache on my heart anymore,as I had to let the tears escape by seeing (Y/n) extend her arm trying to reach Petra.

"PETRA!!!!"

"I'm sorry,(Y/n).."

"DON'T LEAVE ME!!LEVI,LET ME GO TO HER!!"

"I'm sorry.."

3rd POV

It went on like that for a while,as (Y/n) finally calmed down her sobs into hiccups,while she had her face burried on Levi's shirt,soaked with her tears.Eren then woke up,next to their cart.He looked around for a moment, confused,as Jen was sleeping next to him,holding his hand,having dried tears stained on her face.

"Eren,you shouldn't get up yet.. you need to rest.",Mikasa says,as Eren looks at her,"What happened to the female titan?!","She got away.",Mikasa and Eren kept talking, as the Survey Corps finally reached the entrance of the wall,while they saw people eyeing them,making (Y/n) hide her face more on Levi's shirt.

"The Survey Corps is back!!"

"Aren't there a lot fewer than the ones that went out this morning?"

They kept on chattering negative things like always,as Eren got pissed while his view landed on two kids,making him wide eyeded and avoid their gaze and he layed back down on the carrige.

"Corporal Levi!Corporal (Y/n)!"

A man,shouted towards them,while making his way next to their cart holding a letter.

"Thank you both for taking good care of my daughter!I'm Petra's father!There's something I would like to discuss with you two.She send me a letter of how she wanted to be a bridesmaid in the future for a wedding I think it was?She didn't told me who's wedding was,but of course,as her father,she needs my permission. Could you tell me who's wedding is?"

He asked Levi and (Y/n),as she started to silently cry again on Levi's shirt.Levi just stared at the smiling father,not knowing what to say.

"COMMANDER ERWIN!!"

"ANSWER ME!!"

"DID YOU ACOMPLISH ANYTHING TO MAKE UP FOR ALL THE CASUALTIES THIS TIME?!"

"AREN'T YOU SORRY FOR GETTING ALL THOSE SOLDIERS KILLED?!"

People ranted,as Eren started to cry silently,but it woke Jen up as she got wide eyeded,hiding Eren's face by her neck,as she told him soothing words while stroking his hair and he started to sob in her neck,wrapping his arms around her.

The vast expenditures and lives in the expedition beyond the wall dealt a serious blow to the Survey Corps, erobing their Public and Political support.

Erwin and the other leaders were summoned to the Royal Capital.

They were ordered to turn Eren over to the Military Police.

This chapter was depressing as hell,my God
When I re-readed it,my heart ached when I read your break down on Petra
