I felt the presence of August the wizard king come near. "August is here" I growled and clenched my fist. I knew how strong he was from my training back in Alvarez.

"Are you going to fight him?" Erza asked a little worried.

I gazed at her. "Irene is gonna face him she wants to beat him and show that she's the number one for you but I will lend her a hand." I said and looked towards Irene that headed to our direction swiftly.

"Y/n you felt his presence right" She asked and her eyes narrowed looking around.

"Of course how couldn't I" I replied with a low serious voice.

Erza smiled. "Mother do your best!" She said and ran of to another direction to fight.

I felt his magic slowly come near, footsteps were heard now as well as his staff clicking on the ground. I looked forward and he had his strongest form on him his body was completely red yellow lines were visible on his body. "August we don't have to do this, you know it just like Irene and me that this war is nothing but a useless spout. In the end Acnologia is coming here as well and whoever faces him is going to have the hardest battle of their life so please August let us fight together against him ans stop this useless bloodshed." I said and gritted my teeth.

"I have to turn down your offer sadly, because you now are the enemy of Alvarez as well as your mentor Irene" August said and swung his staff.

"I already knew that it would end like this. So Y/n do you want to make the Scarlets black star lighting shot." Irene asked with a grin.

"Of course" I replied. My magic power began to rise to it's maximum like Irene's. August wasn't waiting and attacked.

"Leaving yourself wide open isn't really the best choice you know" He mocked but Irene and I evaded his attack and kicked his back in perfect synch.

"Who said that we are wide open" Irene asked with a wrathful voice.

"In fact you just ran into our trap" I replied with a cold glare.

I flew at August and attacked him with my magic his copy magic is nothing for me. "You think that you can beat me by using my attacks how futile" I said and kicked him.

Irene got to her position while I distracted August so that she had a clear shot when the trap snapped. "God dragons piercing shot" I shouted and fired a bright flash of light towards him.

"I told you it wont work." He mocked. "Oh trust me I know your weakness holder type magic is your weakness" I said and re-quiped into an armor and a sword appeared in my hand. I slashed his chest making him flinch in pain.

"Tell me I know you both know what a parents love is why didn't his majesty love is child?" August asked.

"I know that you are the child of Emperor Spriggan August but you should know it as well as we do. He can't allow it to have any friendly thoughts towards us. He sees us as puppets so that we wont die due to his curse" I said and jumped away from his attack that almost crushed me.

"Tell me Irene if your child were to die right before your very eyes what exactly would you feel then." August asked as he looked at Irene directly.

"Is this a threat you know I'd do everything in order to protect her and I'd kill you without a second thought." Irene said rather calm before she snapped. "You bastard if you dare to hurt Erza in anyway then what I will do to you will be worse then death itself" Irene shouted in fury as she launched a dozen of her magic orbs at him.

I looked over at Erza that hid nearby looking at the fight. I attacked August now as well. We both got hits on him.

"Are children and parents supposed to love each other" August asked seemingly calm.

"Of course they are. I swore on my life that I'd protect her now as I finally got her back." Irene shouted. August hit Irene with his staff sending her flying. I looked over at Irene that held her belly she looked a little worried.

"In that case, why was his majesties child never loved" August asked again. I suddenly saw something silver swish by me several swords attacked him, he barely evaded them.

"Irene" Erza shouted a little shocked she landed with her heavens wheel armor next to me and glared at August.

"Stay away Erza this is our fight" Irene shouted worried for her.

"What do you take me for, I'm an adult and can take care of myself" Erza shouted towards her mother. "I wont just sit around and let you fight" She glared back at August.

"Let us beat him together mom. I wont leave you alone to fight him" Erza added and looked at both of us.

"Just let's go already" Erza said impatient.

Irene jumped forwards and looked at her daughter with a smile. "No I can't let go, you're my daughter. I love you" Irene said with a happy smile.

"Erza, Irene I wont allow anything to happen to you I'll protect both of you with my life" I said towards them.

"Why was his majesties child never loved." August said again.

"I already told you August why it is that way he can't show love or else you would die" I shouted towards him.

We attacked him again Irene shot her magic towards him and Erza as well he evaded both attacks. I appeared behind him and fired a golden ball of light at his back making him yell up.

"Your pathetic love ends here." August shouted and his staff flew towards Erza with great speed. Erza looked in shock at her mother that stood in front of her daughter pierced by the staff in her chest.

"Irene" We both shouted at the same time in shock. "Erza I will never allow anything to happen to you I love you and I am your mother. I have to protect my child." she said with a smile. suddenly the whole ground began to shake and Irene's body shone in a bright red light as she changed into a human dragon version. Augusts staff broke in little pieces. Her wings flapped and she flew upwards. 

August was distracted and then I saw black strings grab him from behind, the trap snapped. I jumped upwards next to Irene and prepared the magic attack together with her. My right and her left hand were close to each other and a golden ball with red light around it formed as the ground began to brake forming a crater. "Unison raid, Scarlets black star lighting shot!" We both chanted and a beam mixed with both our color made it's way down on August destroying him for good. Irene flew down turning back into her full human form and knelt down in exhaustion while she had her hand on the wound and fell to the side I caught her and she fell with her head on my lap.

I placed a hand on her chest and healed her wound immediately. I picked her up gently and stroked her hair going down to her cheek. "You are the strongest mage that I have seen." I said softly as Irene's chocolate colored eyes gazed at me. "I was worried for you Irene, why did you get yourself hit." I asked and she shrugged. I sat her up and she had her hand on her belly resting it there. Erza was still shocked, she walked to her mother and hugged her. Tears made their way down from her. 

"Thank you mom for protecting me" Erza said with a warm smile.

"I told you I've always protected you from when you were in my womb to now." Irene said and laid a hand on Erza's cheek.

"I will now go towards Master Makarov to help him deal with the rest of the enemy." Irene said and turned around. She flew towards the battlefield leaving me and Erza alone.

I looked around and then saw... "Invel" I growled and turned towards him.

"I knew all along that you are a traitor to Alvarez and just played a role even Emperor Spriggan himself knew it, your heart was shifted and it's because that woman you have with you and it's going to be your fault that she will die. Ice Lock!" He said and moved his hand with a swift motion.

Erza's Pov

I felt a cold feeling around my neck and saw a chain connect me with Y/n. "What is this?" I said in shock.

"This is going to be the last thing you see you're going to die by your loved one isn't that romantic." The person who linked us said with a mock. He walked away leaving us and I looked at Y/n. "Erza" He said with a cold tone."Y/n" I replied equaly cold. He dashed at me with his fist up.

Y/n Pov

Invel linked me and Erza together and I can't get them off. I said her name and she said mine. I attacked her and she me. I tried my best to lower my energy as much as possible to not harm her. I felt my fist hit the side of her chest and hers hit mine I tried to think of any way that I could stop it I felt a tear go down. I don't want her to die but I have no choice I did the only thing that was possible for me to do right now. I equiped a sword since I can do that as well from learning it. I held the sword ready to strike. "I'm sorry Erza but I have no choice." I said as I gazed at her eyes, the eyes that I fell in love with.

Erza Pov

I'm trying my best to fight back this magic but I can't it's too strong I had one hand on my belly I tried to think a way to save me and my unborn baby and him. I saw Y/n equip a sword. "I'm sorry Erza but I have no choice" The sword headed towards me and I jumped at him with my sword to strike him down. I closed my eyes because I didn't want to see him being pierced by it. I felt something hit me and opened my eyes his sword was ... rammed in the ground next to me and mine was buried deep in his torso. "No I don't want this" I said and felt a tear drop. I felt the ground shake and then something hit my back I saw a blade go trough my right side of my chest I felt the pain spread through my entire body I shouted in agony. I felt tears dropped on me. Y/n was crying. "I'm not strong enough to brake this" He said and looked directly at me his ice blue eyes showed so many emotions. "Y/n everything will be fine trust me" I said in a weak voice I felt my body getting weaker by the second until everything went black.

Y/n Pov

I had no other choice than to attack Erza, if I would attack myself my magic would just heal me. I Pierced her with my sword she had hers buried in me. I could only cry. She's Pregnant with my child and I can't even destroy this damn spell to save her. The only thing I have in my mind is to kill her and she has the same thoughts. I held her in my arms as she fainted from the blood loss. Her sword was still in my chest as her grip on it faded her arm fell down. I held her unconscious body in my arms her life force was getting weaker.

I felt the shackle disappear. "Erza I'll heal you" I shouted and immediately healed her wound and held her close to me hugging her tightly and kissed her. I yelled her name a few times "Erza! please stay alive I can't think of even losing you for a second!" I shouted and clutched her tightly in my arms my tears flowed down on her cheeks. "Please Erza, you have to make it for our baby's sake." I whispered- 

I felt her hands move lightly and she hugged me back. "Y/n you were able to brake the spell" She asked as she gazed into my eyes her left hand laid on my cheek. I nod with tears in my eyes. 

"But I had to hurt you Erza in order to free us" I said with a shaky voice. 

She nod silently "I'm alive and that counts you saved my live and my unborn baby" She replied with a calm voice and a smile. I held her tightly in my arm. 

We rested there for few seconds before standing up. "I'm gonna kill that bastard now!" I said and looked towards the direction he left. She stood up and I saw Wendy and Carla head this way.

"I had a vision of Erza dying" Carla shouted as she looked at us.

"She's fine if you ask me Carla" Wendy said and eyed us with a happy smile. I nod and left Erza with Wendy and headed to Invel. 

I found him standing near the guild hall. "Invel you dared to make me hurt one I care about and now you will die!" I growled and my magic power spiked up. I didn't even let him talk. I attacked and his body was missing a piece of his chest and arm. "That's the part I had pierced her." I said as I held the chest piece in my hand and dropped it. I left him on the ground and went back to Erza. 

We walked to the battlefield and found her mother with bruises and injuries "The army has been defeated." She said a little exhausted. She fell on her knees and I ran to her healing her wounds she stood up and looked at Erza "Erza I'm sorry that I left you four months ago all alone." she said and looked down in shame. Erza went to her mother and I could see Irene thought that Erza is gonna beat her or something, Erza looked at her with anger. But she hugged her. "Don't ever do something like this again mom thank you for helping us." Erza said and laid her head on Irene's shoulder to feel her mothers warmth. Irene had tears in her eyes. 

"I'm doing it to protect you my dear daughter. I love you Erza." Irene said happily. She gladly returned the embrace and she stroked over her daughter hair and back.

I counted how many of the Spriggans were standing I said "Irene, Jacob and Larcade are still standing right?" Irene mused for a bit. 

"Yes I think they are but where are they?" Irene asked and looked up. Just as Irene said that I felt a weird feeling in my body and I fell on my knees. I felt my face heat up and Erza was laying next to me too. Irene was on her knees as well falling down. I looked towards Wendy and she was standing there just fine I smiled. "At least you are save Wendy" I said and smiled. 

"Yep that's Larcade's pleasure spell" Irene said in an annoyed tone.

"I hate that boner spell from him, do you know how many times it hit my solders and I had to look at them thinking my god why do I have to deal with Larcade." I replied making Irene chuckle. 

"I know he's annoying." She replied rolling her eyes. The pleasure spell wore of and we stood up.
