The two mages have been brought to the magic councils investigation room chained to a seat with their shackles still on. The Magic rune knights were outside the room. Inside however were the two captains Lahar and Doranbalt.

"I told you already the truth I'm not lying." Y/n said for the tenth time.

"Why would I trust you? Tell me." Lahar said with a cold voice.

"I despise the Alvarez empire I want to serve a country that treats it's citizens with respect." Y/n said as he looked up to Lahar.

"When I was in Alvarez I served from when I was 12 in the Elite of the Spriggans being the number five at the time. But I never wanted to hurt any civilians that woman forced me to do that or else they would have suffered even more." Y/n said as he slouched down his head.

"Besides she's the reason I want revenge on all the Spriggans that still pledge alliance to Emperror Spriggan... You know why... because she used me and molested and raped me when I was 12!" Y/n shouted making Lahar slightly flinch in shock.

Doranbalt leaned on a wall listening to the conversation but he had seemingly heard enough. "He tells the truth Lahar. I can see it the grief, despair the sad past of him. Besides the magic lie detector never made a signal and our magic that detects lies didn't react either." Doranbalt exclaimed as he put a hand on Lahar's shoulder.

If you say it Doranbalt than I have to believe you." Lahar retorted as he stood straight up again.

Irene and Y/n were both exhausted from the constant interogation both sighed. "Finally, can we please go now?" Irene asked almost pleading.

Doranbalt leaned over the table with his hands on it as he sternly eyed the two Alvarez mages "I believe that you two wont cause destruction, however you will still be watched by us." Doranbalt exclaimed with a serious look.

Irene sighed but understood why they were so cautious. "We are considered enemies of your kingdom I can understand why you don't trust us." She exclaimed looking down with guilt.

"We trust you once we see you fight on our side against the Alvarez empire. Thanks to your information we can prepare a plan for the war." Lahar said but couldn't evade the small smile from getting such valuable information.

The two mages made their way out from the magic council building without shackles and free from any rune knights following them.

"I told them everything I know." Irene sighed as she rubbed her hand on the neck in exhaustion.

"I too but why are we still considered enemies?" Y/n asked seemingly confused.

"10 years ago Alvarez tried to attack Ishgal but failed that's why." Irene explained curtly.

"I'm feeling like an idiot after I told Erza that mushy thing it was embarrassing but I couldn't help it" Y/n said and chuckled.

"True that, I had to hold my laugh or else you would have gone red from it" Irene said as she playfully punched his shoulder.

Fairy Tail Guild

The members of the guild were all still shocked from yesterdays happening the lesser acquainted members weren't that hit by Irene's and Y/n disappearance but team Natsu seemed hit the hardest.

"That's just not fair! They haven't done anything and got arrested that's even more unfair than the time Erza was arrested." Natsu shouted as he slammed his fist on the table.

"We can't do anything flame brain." Gray scoffed.

"You want to fight nudist beach!" Natsu shouted towards Gray as both their heads collided.

"Why isn't Erza breaking their fight like she usually would?" Lucy asked as she looked between the two fighting mages and the armor cladded redhead.

"Maybe she is still shocked by them taking Irene and Y/n away." Happy replied as he chuckled suspiciously.

Erza was sitting in the corner of the guild on a chair at an empty table, she strangely had Rose on her lap, she held the Exceed tightly in her arm her eyes showed a certain sadness that no one could understand. Erza pat the Exceed's head a few times slowly.

"Yeah Happy, that would explain why she's so silent now. It must be hard to see two people you see as good friends being taken away right before your eyes. First Jellal and now Y/n and her mother Irene" Lucy said thoughtful looking at her guild mate.

Happy grinned strange at Lucy. "She liiikes him" He said as he chuckled into his paw.

"They understand each other quite well and he does have some impressive sword skills even Erza was a bit flustered when she saw him use it." Lucy said musing a little bit.

Erza let go of Rose as she made her way towards the bar were Mira was serving the drinks.

"Hey Rose why does someone like Y/n who's feared by the magic council have a female Exceed with a fur color like yours?" Lucy asked clearly surprised by it.

"That's because we met when he was still very young back in 784 he was just 12 and I was at his side already for quite some time six years to be exact. Making me accompany him for 13 years of his life already." Rose explained with a slight frown as she lost her bestfriend.

"You must share quite a deep bond with that young man then?" Carla exclaimed as she placed down the cup of tea.

"You can say that, we sometimes don't even have to talk to know what we think." Rose explained with a grin.

"You are his Bestfriend then?" Happy asked with a slight smile.

"You can say that's certain Happy." Rose retorted as she put her paw upwards.

Suddenly the whole guild went quiet and the air seems to cool down quite a bit, the ground starts to lightly shake as distant footsteps are heard a familiar magic comes closer making the whole guild look at the door in anticipation to who is coming through the doors.

"Y/n and Irene are back!" Lucy squealed in anticipation as she hopes it's them for Erza's sake.

The doors of the Guild open revealing a woman dressed in a skimpy witches attire and a mage that had only his armored pants and boots on.

On the counter Erza turned around her face was in shock her lips formed a smile.

Natsu launched towards them with his fist on fire. "Fight me Irene and Y/n." He yelled but he got kicked away by Erza that ran from the counter towards them.

Erza's eyes couldn't believe that Irene and Y/n were both here again. Her eyes glistered lightly, they sparkled with joy. She searched for words. "Y/n, Irene I'm glad that you are back." Erza said with a sigh of relieve as she grabbed Y/n's head slamming it against her unarmored chest as she took the armor off.

"I'm glad too to be back Erza, but could you please let go of me." Y/n said blushing from this soft sensation.

"I'm sorry." Erza gasped with a high voice her cheeks reddened from embarrassment.

"Hey Y/n what did they do to you two." Rose asked as she flew towards the open arms of her bestfriend.

He hugged his Exceed happily. "Hey Rose, they just wanted some questions." He said relieved and pat her head.

"The magic council interrogated us and we gave them all what they wanted." Irene explained with an exhausted sigh.

"So you are free now?" Natsu asked rubbing his cheek from Erza's kick.

"Not quite, they still view us as their enemy." Y/n said with a frown on his face.

"I don't care you are family to us." Makarov said as he took a swig from his beer.

"Come on we have to get back up the ranks. There might be a way for us to get to the first spot instantly." Romeo shouted so that everyone could hear it.

"We don't even know who's on first spot." Lucy said concerned.

"Saber Tooth." Romeo said and shrugged a little.

"Saber Tooth?" Natsu asked clearly confused.

"Like the saber-toothed tiger." Gray exclaimed thoughtful.

"They've surpassed Pegasus and Lamia to become the strongest wizard guild in Fiore." Rome said with a stern look.

"Never heard of'em." Gray shrugged as he said it.

"They didn't stand out so much seven years ago." Alzack said with a sad face.

"So they've really grown over the last seven years?" Gray asked.

"They changed guild masters, and suddenly five incredibly strong wizards joined. That's how they got so strong." Max explained with a serious look.

"Only five wizards? Just five can change things that much?" Lucy said ain shock.

"Oh, ho! They got guts!" Natsu exclaimed with a grin.

"Five? pfff that's just adorable. Irene and I will send you alone to the top of the board facing every guild alone." Y/n shouted with a serious grin on him.

"Are you that sure about your power?" Erza asked a little worried.

Y/n: Back in Alvarez the weakest of the Spriggans was still a challenge for God Serena the former number one of the wizard saints. Compared to the Spriggans the Wizard saints look like weaklings, compared to normal wizards they seem like a god.

"And how far up the ladder of the Spriggans are you?" Erza asked raising an eyebrow.

"I'm number three Irene is number two." Y/n said a little proud as he laughed like a madman.

Natsu looked at Happy with a serious look. "Y/n finally snapped huh he has the same crazieness as the rest of us now" Natsu exclaimed looking at the laughing Y/n.

"Yeah he's a full guild member now." Happy said with a grin.

"Now we just have to wait for Irene to snap" Natsu added with a smile.

"Actually the top three can't be classified we are unbeatable." Irene said with smirk on her lips.

"That means." Natsu asked a little confused.

"I alone could take over the entire land of Ishgal." Y/n said and scared the guild to the bones.

"If you are that powerful than how strong is the rest?" Lucy asked scared of his magic power that began to leak out.

"That depends on the magic you have, you could do well against one and lose against another it's like fire and water. Someone weaker could beat a stronger opponent if his magic element has an advantage." Irene exclaimed with a smile.

"That makes sense." Wendy said a little confused.

"It does, I can't work with Natsu alone, his fire weakens my ice." Gray said and glared at Natsu.

"By the way, what's our ranking as a guild these days?" Wendy asked curious.

"You really want to know?" Happy asked a little worried.

"Wendy, you didn't have to ask." Carla scolded the child.

Wendy let out a shocked shriek as she made a mistake.

"The worst." Romeo sighed.

"The lowest rank." Alzack explained.

"Fiore's No. 1 weakest guild." Bisca added

"Ahh!! I'm sorry I asked!" Wendy said loudly in shock.

"Kaaahha haha! That's great! Sounds like fun!" Natsu shouted.

"Huh?" Gray said a little shocked from Natsu's crazy laugh.

"Well, sure! You know? It means we get to enjoy moving up the ladder all over again! I'm all fired up!" Natsu said with fire in his eyes.

"Oh, geez!" Gray said rolling his eyes.

Lucy laughed at Natsu's funny behavior.

"Big bro can't be beat." Romeo shouted happily.

"That's true!! Sounds like fun!" Wendy said with a smile.

"We are going to help too in it right Y/n." Irene asked with a soft smile and her eyes glistered lightly.

"Of course I promised someone that I help the guild become what it was, remember." Y/n said and took a glance towards Erza giving her a smirk.

"We would compete even without you two but it will be a lot easier." Erza exclaimed and smirked back at him.

"No using our strongest mages would be cheating!" Natsu shouted angrily.

"As if you would care!" Gray scoffed.

"He's just afraid that he wouldn't be able to participate" Y/n said and chuckled.

"You want to fight flashing freak!?" Natsu shouted at Gray.

"Lets go at it Tabasco freak!" Gray shouted as both slammed their heads on each other.

Irene grabbed their necks and looked with a cold glare at them sending a shiver down their spine. "Stop fighting." she growled making them go pale.

"Aye ma'am!" Natsu said scared by her.

"Sorry ma'am." Gray said in shock.

"Say, have any of you guys seen Gildarts?" Cana asked curious.

"What? Are you lonely without your daddy?" Gray asked with a slight mock.

"Dumbass!!" Lucy scoffed and hit him lightly on the head.

"Oh!! Sorry!" Gray said and apologized.

"No, it's okay. Don't worry about it." Lucy retorted with a slight smile.

"Gray-sama is worried about her! feelings?!" Juvia said shocked as she cracked a pillar with her bare hands.

"If you want Gildarts, then ...talk to the Master... Um, I mean Makarov." Erza said and thought where he could be.

"Isn't it okay to call him Master?" Lucy asked a little confused.

"He went with Master to the old Fairy Tail building." Erza explained.

"Right!! Okay... I'll take off on a job while I have the chance!" Cana said and ran off with a beer barrel.

"It's incredible how close Gildarts always is to her!" Happy said with a smile.

In the distance Pantherlily stood looking at the exceeds "Just like you and Carla." He said with a smirk.

"That's one aspect where this guild is the strongest." Carla retorted with a smile.
