A Sword changes everything

A/n: I got a question whenever I publish a chapter it gets a read automatically from me and I don't want it, I want to have zero reads when publishing it to know how many real reads are, is there a way to do that.

Irene Pov

Erza, Y/n and I were all seated at a big rectangular table with the king as he pulled out a map from an old wooden tube. "This is the place of the tomb that you have to go through in order to find it" He said as he pointed to it.

"We need as much information as possible if you want the request to be successful and finished early" Erza said with a stern voice.

"Yes the more information you can give us the better we can prepare and the sooner you will have that sword you seek in your hands" Y/n said and pointed to the map.

"This tomb what can you tell us about it" I asked in a friendlier way.

"This isn't exactly a tomb but an underground city build over 400 years ago" The king said making Erza and Y/n's jaws drop. I placed my hands underneath them and closed them. "Good how embarrassing"  I thought but smiled as I felt happy doing it.

"You might have to deal with unwanted guests the entrance isn't sealed or closed with magic so bandits could be a threat to you." The king said in thoughts. "Also it wouldn't surprise me if magic traps were placed around or inside the city" He added.

"I thought as much about that. A request never goes the easy way" Erza said and crossed her arms.

"You will need a few hours to arrive at the location maybe it's better if you set up a camp as well the underground city is big and it will take a few days or maybe a week to fully be explored." He exclaimed.

"One thing is still a little strange to us if you want us to do your request than we have to get compensation for it as your letter didn't specify any jewel as reward." Erza retorted.

"About that the reward is everything you find in the tomb of value if you don't find anything but only the sword then we will agree on the jewel with you on how difficult the request was" The king replied with a serious voice.

"Very well see this request as taken and completed. The next time that you will see us will probably with the sword" Erza said and grabbed the request.

"Be careful I don't want to see someone like you getting injured Ma'am" The king said smiling at me.

"We are professionals no need to worry but thank you anyway" Erza retorted as she bowed lightly.

We headed towards the area that the map showed the entrance of the underground city it was hidden in the mountains and hard to reach. We reached a dead end.

"What a dead end this isn't supposed to be a dead end" Erza said confused as she looked at a large stone that stopped our march.

"Because that isn't a dead end that's an entrance." I retorted and smiled at my daughters confused face.

I dispelled the enchantment and smiled a little "Such weak enchantments really are just a nuisance" I said and shook my head in annoyance.

We entered the door to the underground city and I could feel magic traps in the distance. "Erza let me go in front" Y/n said and headed next to Erza.

"Why? You know I'm the S class mage here. Are you saying I'm not strong enough to be the front" She said a little offended.

"It's not about that Erza but your eyes and ears aren't as sensitive like mine or Irene's so you aren't going to hear them if you are in front." Y/n said and put a hand on her shoulder.

Erza huffed a little but gave in. "I guess you are right. I have to thank Natsu for his hearing too since we made some requests were he got us out of an ambush before it happened." Erza retorted as she let him pass.

We walked our way forward as he suddenly stopped he turned around and Erza slammed  her face on his chest as she couldn't see as good as we do.

I looked at the scene in front with amusement. He had her in his arms as she looked into his ice blue eyes directly they sparkled in the darkness of the corridor like stars. "Hey why did you stop so suddenly" she said a little embarrassed. I could see her blushing face her cheeks were tinted  in a pinkish color.

"There is movement up ahead" He said in a low voice. "Get ready to fight, re-quip." He said and drew a sword from his re-quip space.

"Re-quip?" I heard Erza say a little surprised.

"Are you surprised that he can use a magic like that my dear daughter" I said a little amused.

"Well my magic is even rarer. Mine is called The Knight" She said and re-quiped a sword to fight.

"Lets see how many there are. I count six what about you Irene" Y/n said as he looked at the darkness of the cave.

"I count the same amount" I retorted as I could feel Erza move past me.

"I wouldn't go further if I were you" Y/n said and grabbed Erza's shoulder.

"Why not" Erza retorted a little annoyed.

Y/n sighed and looked down. "Geez, Irene can you do something so that Erza can see in the dark she almost fell down the ledge" He said a little worried.

"Fine by me. Master enchant night vision" I chanted and Erza's body began to light up in a green light before going away.

"This place is huge" Erza said in amazement as she looked around "And you can see all this with your dragon slayer power" She asked in wonder.

"Our vision is even better than that, you have your normal vision just with night vison now but Y/n's and mine is so good we can register the  smallest movement from hundreds of meters  away." I said with a smirk.

"Then let's go down and look for our self what these bandits are doing here." Y/n said. Both Erza and I nod.

We headed down the long staircase as we reached the small camp. "Who goes there" a bandit said and prepared to fight.

"Relax Jorn they aren't headhunters or any guards" another bandit said with an annoyed tone.

"What do you three mages seek here. You aren't coming for us or else you would have attacked already." The person said.

"We are here for a request about an ancient sword that is supposed to be here" Y/n explained.

"You idiot what if they are here for the same reason" Erza shouted and hit him on the head.

"A sword? Trust me we looked up the entire cave and there is no exit just that entrance up there." He said and pointed to it. "We aren't searching for swords we are hiding from a dark guild." He added.

"That's enough" another bandit shouted and attacked Erza getting knocked down immediately.

The other four bandit mages all began to cast magic spells now. We prepared for the fight as well.

Y/n Pov

Great I thought that we could solve this with no fights but guess you never can have it your way. I looked at the enemy that held some sort of violet orb in his hand. He looked at the orb and smiled. "You will have trouble with two women that share the same blood." He said with a grin.

I raised an eyebrow and looked at Irene and Erza in the background that beat up the other four mages with just their hands. I sweat dropped thinking that he meant these two devils.

"I really hope that you mean someone else then them" I said and knocked him out.

I headed towards Irene and Erza. "So how are we going further" Erza asked a little confused as we looked at a smooth stone wall.

"This looks more than suspicious." Irene said and trailed the wall with her hand.

"Why" Erza and I said at the same time.

Irene pointed to the rest of the cave. "The rest of the cave is rather rough but the only place that is smooth is this small portion of the cave so what I believe is that they blocked the entrance off with a spell that forms solid rock" Irene explained as she punched the wall making it crack a little.

"Seems like we are on a good way" She chuckled. "Y/n will you do the honor of braking the wall" Irene said pointing to it.

"I'll do it" Erza said and punched the wall with a lot of force braking it. "It really is a hidden exit." Irene, Erza and I said at the same time with wide eyes.

"We should be careful from here on" Erza said thoughtful.

"I agree there could be traps of any sort that aren't influenced by magic so we can't sense them" Irene said as she stepped forward.

"Irene watch out" I yelled as I jumped forward towards her. I grabbed her to get her away from the trap. I looked back and were she stood was now a huge crater.

"Whoa that explosion would have knocked us out for sure" I said as I looked at the one meter deep crater.

"Y/n you can let go of me" Irene said with a stressed voice. I looked at Irene that was held bridal stile by me as I stood there unable to move as her soft piercing eyes were locked on me.

"Thanks for getting Irene out of the trap" I was startled by Erza that Looked at us with a normal face.

I let Irene down to her feet and looked at her as she turned her back towards me. "What the hell is wrong with me" I thought as I felt my heart race. This can't be ok at all.

We headed further into the tomb and stood at a stone door that had a riddle on it with an image. "Hmm a simple guard that holds its hand out for payment but what, coins?" Erza said as she looked at the riddle.

"There is something written over the image in an old language it's good that you have me with you as this was one of the formerly common languages 400 years ago and I can read it" Irene  said smiling with a smug grin on her.

"And what does it say" Erza asked a little impatient.

"To pay with the only thing a person always has with him even when he has nothing. An endless supply of it" Irene said and stepped back.

"You can't pay if you don't have anything with you so what does this riddle mean." Erza said and mused.

"I believe that it is referring to blood. Blood was the biggest payment that you could do in the ancient times as it was more worth then coin." Irene said as she grabbed a dagger.

Erza Pov

"I think as well" Y/n said and took Irene's dagger. I looked in shock at what Y/n did he cut his arm and pressed it against the wall giving the dagger back to Irene.

"Why did you do that" I said as I grabbed his shoulder turning him towards me.

"Don't worry Erza It will heal without leaving a scar this is my special magic ability" He said giving me a fond smile that made my heart skip a beat.

I looked at him with a smile on me. He cares more about the others then himself. The cut on his arm slowly vanished. The stone door suddenly began to crack and disappeared leaving an opening to walk through.

We entered a large room that was illuminated by fire. Golden objects chests and weapons were everywhere. My gaze trailed towards a sword stand that had the sword from the request giver on it a golden longsword with jewels on it. I grabbed it and tossed it towards Y/n that caught it with ease.

I stopped what I was doing as I found a sword that looked like an angels weapon it was gold plated and with white dragon scales on the scabbard. I grabbed it and pulled it out looking in awe at a beautifully crafted and forged blade, the blade itself looked like it had scales all over it from how it was forged.

"I never would have expected to find them here." Irene said in surprise as she took two swords from another sword stand. "These are my old weapons with what I used to kill dragons" She said with a smile on her.

Irene looked at me and her expression changed into pure shock. "Erza what happened to you" She said with worry as she ran towards me. I looked at her in confusion. I even had to look up to her.

My gaze trailed down to my body as she knelt down and laid her hands on my shoulders my chest was gone and my armor didn't fit me anymore. "I'm small." I said in shock as I looked at my hands where my gauntlets fell off.

"We will be going now, we have everything what we came for" Irene said and swung her staff the entire room was now empty the two swords were in Y/n's hands while he looked at me with an amused smile. I turned my gaze of him. "Why, why does it have to happen right in front of him." I thought as I placed my hand on my face.

I began to tear up and cry out of no reason. I had one hand on my face wiping the tears away. "I don't wanna be small" I whined.

Irene Pov

I grabbed Erza and we headed out of the underground city, we were now outside as we sat on a stone with Erza in the middle between me and Y/n.

"So what will we be doing with her now" I said and looked at my demoralized daughter.

"The only thing we can do is either wait or ask Makarov if he can solve this." Y/n said and mused.

"Well for the time until we are back at the guild we will have to deal with it." I said and looked with worry at Erza. She didn't seem to be older than five years right now.

"I'll enchant your armor so that it fits you" I said and enchanted her armor making her able to wear it.

"Thank you" She sulked. I grabbed my daughters hand and she was now in the middle of us. I gazed to Y/n that had a smile on him as he looked at Erza and me. "What" I asked a little confused.

"Oh nothing just that isn't this what you wished all those years to spend time with your daughter when she was still a child and not a grown woman." He said and smiled at me.

I sighed as I looked at Erza and back at him. "I guess you are right but it still doesn't feel complete." I said as I looked next to Erza.

"What do you mean by that" He asked raising an eyebrow.

"Well you know..." I got closer to Y/n to whisper it into his ear. "A father is missing" I said and he blushed in embarrassment. I too had a pink blush on my cheeks as I said it.

"So could you do that for me just this time please" I begged a little as I looked into his eyes.

I saw him debating if he should. "What about Erza why don't you ask her how she feels about that" He said rather heated and pointed to a clueless Erza.

I huffed. " You're right we should ask her too since she is the affected one." I said as I knelt down to look at her. "Erza we are in a bit of a complicated situation so I asked Y/n to play along only if you are ok with it. I know how much your pride as a mage is and if someone would see you like this then I'm sure that you wouldn't want to be around too long so I asked him if he played the role of your father just until we are back at Fairy Tail" I said as I placed a hand on her.

She nod "Just until we are back at the guild" She said shyly.

I suddenly felt Erza hug me. "I don't wanna walk I'm tired" Erza whined as her small arms clung around me. My heart was aching as I saw Erza cry and hug me. I picked her up without thinking for even a second. I realized what I was doing but it felt so natural for me to hold her. Every time Erza cried my motherly instincts were going off like a siren to do everything for her.

Erza clung her arms around my neck her face was pressed on my shoulder. "Erza everything is gonna be alright." I said and tried to cheer her up.

I read countless parenting books while I was in Alvarez but non of them taught me how to deal with an adult daughter that was turned into a five year old. How would they know it.

I turned to Y/n and he looked at me. "Y/n grab her other hand, you said that you play the role as her father and you have to do it like you really are her father." I said and he looked at Erza before his gaze went back to me.

"Do I really have to." He replied and lightly frowned. I gave him a glare and he grabbed Erza's hand she was between us. "Now then remember you play her father that means you are also playing my husband in a way, so that will be your job as well." I said and smiled.

He looked at me confused. "What." He said a little dumbfounded. I smirked.

"It means this." I said as I lightly kissed his lips while he blushed, Erza was looking down the entire time not following our conversation.

We passed the Capitals gate and headed to the palace. "Look that family looks so happy with their child" I heard people say towards us.

"That girls idol is probably Erza Scarlet the Titania her armor looks so perfect" Another person said.

I looked down towards Erza that had a blushing face from being embarrassed like this. "I think I saw the Titania here in town this morning. I'm sure she would love having such an adorable fan." Another person said.

We arrived at the palace and immediately got send to the king. I placed the sword down in front on the table.

"So I hope that the request wasn't too difficult for you then" The king asked raising an eyebrow.

"It wasn't difficult but a spell or curse got on my daughter as she touched the sword." I said and the king looked at her.

"I see, I forgot to mention that the people that lived there had placed a magic spell on the sword whoever touched it will become like that" He said and pointed to Erza.

"Don't worry the spell will fade after a few hours or a day maximum" The king added making all three of us exhale in relieve.

"We found quite a bit off valuables in the room with lots of jewels so there is no need to give us more Jewel then we have now" I said and bowed.

"Very well then wizards of Fairy Tail. Thank you for your service, if I need help again I will think of your guild first. Now my precious family sword is back to it's place." He said as he grabbed it placing it on an altar.

We headed out of the palace. I noticed that Erza got hungry "Let's go and eat somewhere I'll pay." Y/n said pointing to a nice looking restaurant.

I giggled lightly. "Of course honey." I said and he looked a little shocked at me.

"You're taking this a little too literally." He muttered silently while I just smiled happily.

I chuckled. "As I said you have to do the part of my husband too." I replied and he rolled his eyes.

We went to it and sat down looking at the menu a young waitress walked to our table. "Hello I'll be your waitress for today, such an adorable young family" The waitress said smiling at us. I looked over at Y/n and Erza they were blushing in embarrassment while I just smiled.

"We'll take this three times" I said and closed the card.

"You lady surely have a handsome husband and your daughter is really cute" The waitress said as she walked away. I felt my heart slightly stop as I gazed at Y/n my cheeks flushed red.

"I wonder what the guild thinks if they see Erza like this" Y/n said and looked at Erza.

"The only ones that I don't want to make me see like this are Natsu and Gray" Erza said and pouted while she ate her Steak.

"Don't worry if these two dumb nuts are trying to attack you then I will deal with them" I said as I pat my daughters head.

We finished our dinner and paid, we had to catch the train that left in an hour. We were tired from today so we sat on a seat with Erza in the middle. She was the first to fall asleep on my lap and I was the last one. I laid my head on Y/n's shoulder drifting off to sleep.
