TW: SH and Self-Hatered

"First things first, why is Belos killing humans? I thought all he hated was witches." Amity asked. Luz felt her face heat up. "Because I am a human. He must be... I don't know, getting revenge." She tugged on her hair and hunched over on the couch. "Where is he now?" Luz sat up and grabbed her phone. She typed in a couple of words before scrolling down. The others watched as her eyebrows scrunched together.

"Last known whereabouts were in the park, a couple of miles away from here. He killed an animal, they say. A buck." Luz explained. "I can drive you guys there. It won't be long." She grabbed her keys and looked back. "You coming?" They all jumped to their feet and ran to the car. Luz stuck the keys into the keyhole and turned it, the car coming to life.

After about 3 minutes and Luz going a little bit over the speed limit, they finally got to Youngyouth Park. Luz parked in a parking space and took the keys. After everyone got out of the car, Luz locked it. Police spotted Luz and started to stop her. "Excuse me, you can't be here! This is a investigation!" Luz marched on before a officer grabbed her shoulder and shoved her to the ground. "You can be arrested for tresspassing." Luz scuffed as she sat up and brushed herself off. "Tresspassing. On a public park? Seriously?"

Willow set her hand on Luz's shoulder and gave her a look. 'Calm down.' It showed. Luz gritted her teeth and sighed. "Fine. I'm sorry officer." The officer didn't seem pleased, but calmed down enough. "Turn back. You can't be here." Luz licked her lips. 'What if I just throw my keys at the officer's eyes? Or try to grab a glyph? Wait, glyphs don't work here, right?'

Luz turned back and reached in her pocket. She still had some glyphs. "Belos is back, right? There should be some Titan Blood somewhere..?" She explained. "What will you do? We can't just bypass the officers without--" Luz cut Gus off. "Actually, we can." She took out an Invisibility Glyph. Her friends' faces light up. "We'll have to hurry, though."

She placed the glyph on her chest and took a deep breathe. She faded away. After a few seconds, she exhaled. "So there is Titan Blood here... Ok, I got my glyphs. Here. I don't know if you guys can." She handed them the glyphs. She grabbed a mask, homemade from old technology. It was like a robot face, her whole face would be covered with just a button. They all took a deep breath and began running into the 'private area'. After a bit, they hid behind a tree. 

The buck was mangled, only leaving parts of meat on the bones left by. A skull was missing. "It looks like Belos made another mask." Amity said.  Luz growled quietly. This was getting annoying. "Wait..." Luz suddenly said. "What about the portal? Should we check out there?" Hunter shook his head. "Belos wouldn't have been through the portal. I've already got guards around it. There would be no way Belos escaped there."

Luz bit her lip. She saw a tiny bit of green goop and she reached to grab it. It didn't react to her skin, just stayed there. She heard her girlfriend hiss at her, "Luz, what in the name of Titan are you doing?!" A light suddenly was shone into her eyes. She hissed quietly. "Put your hands up! Now!" Luz grabbed her mask and placed it against her face. "Shit!" They ran into the forest, quickly. As the others ran quickly, Luz looked back. The same officer who pushed her was coming after her. "Get back here!" Her foot snagged on the branch and she thrusted her hands on and rolled forward, leaving quite a few cuts, thrusting her legs down and continuing running. "Get to the tree! Climb up!" Hunter exclaimed.

Luz grabbed her Mist Glyph and slammed her hands against it, mist emitting from it. She grabbed the bark to the tree, seeing the others farther up than her. Splinters poked in her hands as she climbed. "Hey!" The officer came out of the smoke, coughing. "Sucker!" Luz laughed. "Luz!" Amity scolded. She didn't want her girlfriend to get into more trouble. "Sorry!" Luz finally got to a sturdy branch.

She sat down on it. The officer tried to climb the tree, and came down on his back. "I will get you kids!" The officer huffed and grabbed his walkie. "We have kids tresspassing, on the evidence site." Murmering was heard. "No, they didn't touch anything." More murmering. "They tresspassed... No, they didn't get through the tape... You suck at your job, man." Luz smiled and shook her head. The officer grabbed a small-looking gun. Luz's smiled faded. "Go, go, go! He's got a taser!" Luz jumped off without a thought, without her glyph to catch her from her fall. Her legs crumpled under her and she launched herself forward to keep running. The others came beside her.

The goop in her pocket was cold against her leg. She had to think, how were they going to get out of this? "Invisibility! Now!" She placed the glyph on her chest, stopping her breathing. "What?!" The officer growled. They ran into the parking lot, and quickly came out. There was only one officer, and he was lost in the forest. She couldn't have her plate written down. They drove to her house. Luz locked the house and sat on the couch. The others were catching their breath.

"What do we do now?" Gus asked. Luz took out the goop and put it in a bag. "Find out how to target Belos with this." Luz watched the goop move around the bag, looking for it's missing mentor.

"This seems like a bad idea." Willow said. "What if Belos is looking for his goop." Luz gave her a look. "Goop this small? No. He wouldn't. All we have to do is find a mask that's a deer skull! Should be easy, right?" Willow shrugged. Gus stiffled a yawn. "I'm gonna go to bed. It's way too late to talk about this." Hunter and Amity nodded. "I'm going too."

Luz nodded. Amity placed a kiss on Luz's cheek before walking to the room, showing the others where to sleep. As all of them left, Luz was left with her thoughts. 'What if I did let Belos escape?' Her mind wondered. 'Well, I mean, you are pretty much useless.' Luz shook her head. 'Don't try to ignore me. We know. It's always your fault.' 'Belos is pretty much a god.' Luz shot. 'But you still didn't kill him. Even with your Titan powers when you "killed" him, you're still weak.'

Luz banged her head into the palms of her hands, a small bang as the table protested. She needed to release. She grabbed a knife, a little bit big for her hands, but it might work, and walked to the bathroom. She rolled her shirt up and began cutting her stomach. As the voices quieted down, she realised what she had just done. "Damnit..." She muttered. She grabbed bandages and wrapped around her.

After she was done, she cleaned the knife and placed it back into the cabnet. She came to Amity's and her room. She saw her sleeping girlfriend and placed a kiss on her forehead. She closed her eyes and her mind filled with dreams.

Luz opened her eyes. There was nothing but darkness. Luz felt her heart lurch. "Well, well, well." She turned and saw Hunter. "If it isn't for the traitor. Not only did you betray us once, but twice! You are useless!" Hunter's face shifted to Amity's. "I loved you and all you've done is ruin things!" Gus. "Now, the cops could be after us! It's your fault!" Willow. "You let Belos escape into the human realm. Many humans have died! The blood is on your hands, Luz Noceda."

"The blood is on your hands." Everyone repeated. Luz covered her ears, ignoring the tears flowing out of her eyes. Suddenly, everything went quiet. Luz opened her eyes and dropped her hands. She turned around, looking for anyone. Suddenly, Belos's face shot towards her.

Luz sat up abruptly, her breath caught in her throat, suffocating her.. Amity came right beside her. "Babe, breathe." Luz took a shaky deep breath and exhaled. Amity repeated with her, and Luz's nerves calmed. "There. Do you want to talk about it?" Luz shook her head. "That's ok." Amity rubbed Luz's back. Luz brushed her hand across her messy hair. "I need to figure out about Belos's goop. We all do."

Amity frowned slightly. Luz streached and felt pain in her lower body, reminding her of her self-harm, but also pain in her arms. "Ack. Sore." She partly lied as her girlfriends concerned glare burned through her. Amity walked into the bathroom. Luz walked downstairs and a knock on the door nearly made Luz jump out of her skin. She peered through the hole. 2 officers were standing there, waiting patiently. Luz felt the panic in her nerves again. She opened the door and rubbed her eyes. "Hello, officers. What brings you here?" She bit her toungue from spitting out some remark.

"Luz Noceda, we have reports of you in the investigation site last night at 0200 in the morning." One of the officers explained. One officer looked stern and has a glare that would shake anyone but Luz. He was about as tall as her. 'Jake Miller' the name on his chest read. The other one who just spoke looked kind. 'Manny Jason'. He didn't look like he would harm anyone, unless needed to.

"At 0200, I was asleep. My friends and I ran a movie marathon until about 1. We had no buisness with whatever investigation site you are talking about." Luz explained, the lie easily off her toungue. The stern officer stepped up to her. Luz stared him down, with a glare colder than his. She could see a bit of scared in his eyes. Good. "I am not lying. Now, good day officers. What a waste of time waking up at about 8 in the morning." She began to close the door, before Jake stopped it with his foot. 

"Not so fast, Luz." Her blood boiled. "We have the oppertunity to ask questions." Luz shook her head in disbelief. "This is unnecessary. We had a movie marathon. That's all. Why do you think I was at a investigation site?" The officer grit his teeth. "Listen, Noceda. We're gonna ask the questions here." Luz gripped the door, her knuckles white. "You look... stressed." Luz groaned. "Well of course! I have to get investigated for something I never did! What else?"

"Officers, Luz has nothing to do with the investigation." The officers looked at Amity, who had silently walked in. "We were at a movie marathon." Jake looked at Luz. "I will get some information out of you Noceda." He growled. "Try me." Jake's. foot was removed and Luz shut the door, locking it. She pinched the bridge of her nose.

"Great. Now the cops are on us." Amity sighed. "We need to figure out what to do." Luz looked at the goop. "Well, we find Belos." She grabbed her bat and her bag, full of glyphs. "And we take. Him. Down."
