Lets say that the Sins family and the Ro'maeve family haven't always been the best of friends. They always argue about the stupidest of things, constantly yelling and giving each other weird glares. But Karmin and Indi have always been really close. They met each other when they were young, to be exact Indi was 6 and Karmin was 3.  They have always kept their relationship. Yes... they do have arguments here and there but they manage to stay really close. 

Karmin's POV

I broke my bedroom window and made y way to Indi's house. I jumped down and felt my feet slam against the ground. One of my bones felt like it was going to snap but I kept cool and ignored it. 

"Indi's house isn't that far from here I'm sure no one will notice, no one is home anyway, Emma is drunk, Rain is at the library, Dad is in O'kaisis, Garte is to, Vylad is with his friends. and of course, Garroth is with Aphmau." I shoved my hands in the pockets of my black pants. 

Indi's POV

I sat on my purple couch waiting for the doorbell to ring. I looked at the clock on the wall. It was the only one making a sound. I finally was aware that time was so slow once you acknowledge it. Then I heard the doorbell ring. Right then and there, I knew it was Karmin. The door opened with a creak. As soon as I saw Karmin's face I said

"Geez, don't rush me." Karmin replied with an attitude. 

"Get in, quick!" She did as she was asked and walked in.

"Have a seat." I said pointing at the purple couch. Karmin did as she was asked once again. 

"How has Emma been?" I asked sitting down next to her. 

Karmin replied quickly and said "Drunk, like most of the time." 

"I see." I took a quick glance outside examining the area. "How is Rain?"

"Good, she's a bookworm, she's always reading." 

"Thought so," 

"Indi are you hiding something from me?" Karmin asked

"No! Of course not w-what makes you think that?" I stuttered.

Karmin glared at me, "Yep, you are hiding something from me," Karmin said as she got up from the couch. I got up from my seat as well and felt my body tighten up. 

"Karmin what are you talking about?!?! I swear I'm not hiding anything!" I yelled. I saw Karmin grit her teeth in response. She clenched her fists. 

"Indi I know you are hiding something, just tell me already!" Karmin looked away from me and I felt my heart drop. 

I could see steam coming out from her ears, her eyes twitching. Karmin's skin slowly turning red, a very dark red. I stood there in shock as her hair slowly started to burst into flames. Karmin's eyes shut tensely then suddenly opened. Her eyes were a bright red. I started back away and let Karmin have her space. Her flaming hair turned solid with a grunt. as I was backing away I tripped and fell on the floor. I looked up to see a monster. 

"Ah, it feels great to be back!" The thing said stretching, My chest tightened. "Now, what was that secret you wanted to tell me about?~" The creature walked up to my face smirking.
