Chapter III
Previously in "The Sword"
Sam had escaped from the clutches of the government agents and had to stowaway on the RMS Queen Mary only to be discovered by a couple who had recognized him from the ads. Sam once again had to flee for his life. He ran inland into England and arrived at a tavern. From there he started hearing about a legendary sword somewhere in the forest.

"Can you tell me more about this legend you speak of?" I asked, looking at the couple on the other end of the counter.
"You're an American, aren't you?" says the stout man with a wispy beard.
"Yes," I said plainly.
"Well, then before we talk to you about this legend allow us to introduce ourselves," says the man as he stands up with his wife and moves closer to me. "My name is Mark, and this is my wife, Amelia,"
"Nice to meet you, my name is Sam," I said as they held out their hands. I shook them; the couple had a strong British accent which is understandable considering they were natives here and the only time my country has heard of the King Arthur legend was through school and moves as well as TV shows.
"Well, since you are an American and you don't know much about King Arthur, allow us to explain," he said and launched into the legend.
"King Arthur or Arthur Pendragon was a legendary British king who back in the fifth century united the kingdoms of Avalon. He, along with his most famous and legendary sword Excalibur, fought for peace in the lands of Britain. He fought the Saxon's and made sure that whoever threatened his kingdom would suffer...."
"So, let me get this straight, Arthur Pendragon is well was a warrior back in the fifth century, and he fought with a sword called Excalibur? can you tell me about that?" I asked already interested in the story and legend.
"Well," continued the woman named Amelia, who had red hair, tan skin, and green eyes. "Legend states that before Arthur had died, he wedged his sword Excalibur in a rock. Once he died, it states that one day, the sword would reappear in a time when Arthur is once again needed to bring the world out of the darkness and into a new light of enlightenment."
"Has it reappeared?" I ask.
"It has truly reappeared. Hikers found it yesterday when they hiked through the forest. Many have tried to pull it out, but none have succeeded." answers Amelia.
"And the only person who can pull Excalibur from the rock is Arthur."
"Do you think you can take me to it?"
The couple looked at each other with consideration then looked right back at me then nodded their heads.
"We can most certainly bring you to it if you would follow us. We have a long trek through the forest."
I smiled at them, making sure I put my book bag on, I followed the couple out of the tavern, and we made our way toward the forest.
~No One's POV~
Government agents took Colby Brock and his friends, the only person who could stand between the government and the population was Sam. Colby's best friend, he had hoped that his friend had escaped and made it to England. As far as Colby knew, the government had been hunting for Sam all night, and they've almost captured him millions of times. But thankfully, Colby had heard that Sam escaped inland to England, which made him realize that Sam would somehow find a way to defeat the government.
Colby looked up and saw one of the agents who was wearing a professional suit and tie approach him — wondering what might happen and what these agents had planned for the YouTubers. They had arrived at a complex that looked like a hotel; the complex was big on the outside but small on the inside. Next to Colby on one side sat Devyn and Corey they were holding hands, Devyn seemed scared, and Corey just stared off into space maybe trying to think about what had happened. On the other side sat Jake and Aaron, they too were in shock.
"Now," says the agent whose name is unknown, she had blonde hair and scary orange eyes. Colby knew what the agents were going to do. They plan to use them to get to their fans because they knew that fans would do anything a YouTuber said. Colby, on the other hand, would not do anything that the agents told him to do. If anything, he would try to stall long enough for Sam to save them.
"What are you planning to do to us?" he asked. The blonde hair, orange-eyed woman, smirked and bent down to Colby's height.
"It's simple, we're going to control your minds, and when we do that, you will do whatever we ask you to do."
"Oh really?" says Colby glaring at the agent.
"Yes, but seeing as how your friend Sam escaped, we need to find out what he cares. We know he cares about you, but there might be someone else."
"How do you intend to find out?"
"Well, you can either tell us, or we can go through his YouTube channel and find what he cares about the most."
"Go to hell," says Colby. The woman turned to another agent standing next to her.
"Bring him into the room," she says. The other agent walked over and grabbed Colby by the arm, forcing him to stand up and bring him to a room which was so bright that it had blinded him. He had to wait for a while, hoping that his eyesight would adjust, in the middle of the room, there was nothing but a small table and a dentist chair. Worry flashed onto his face as he struggled to break free. The agent that had grabbed him forced him to sit down on the chair and strapped him down. As the orange-eyed lady got ready, another agent approached her and whispered in her ear. She was already in the room when she received news.
"Really?" says the woman intrigued as she turned toward Colby. "I will be right back."
Sam's POV
Mark, Amelia and I were walking through the streets of England around us people were doing their own thing, some opening shop others going to those stores to buy things. Only just a few minutes ago I had learned a lot more about King Arthur and the knights of the round table. After what seemed like an hour of walking, we arrived at the entrance to the forest where the supposed Excalibur lay somewhere deep in the woods.
"So, this is the entrance? How far it is the sword?" I ask, looking at the couple.
"It's in a clearing in the middle of the woods. You can't miss it," says Amelia.
"Then why are we waiting? How about we go in there and try to find it?" I say. I wasn't sure why, but I had this feeling that whatever is in the forest wants me to find it. Amelia and Mark nod their heads, and they started leading me deep in the woods.
