Skyfall

IAM union ambassador Jagger Tortorella, who specializes in Aerospace gets called into a meeting. Government agent Dante Orologio awaits by a window peering intently into the storm over Halo.

As Jagger enters the room, Dante remarks about how time seemingly stops when it pours over Corsica. Apparently that's what stopped the clock all those years ago, he finishes with.

"Why am I belong called into a meeting with an international government agent?"

"Mr. Tortorella trust me I'd rather be anywhere doing anything else than chasing a conspiracy theory that apparently won't die."

Dante questions why Jagger was part of this theoretical instruction class presented by Dr. Sylvancroft last Friday afternoon.  To which Jagger responds with his findings.

"Nearly 400 feet beneath the Mediterranean Sea off the coast of Corsica, I was able to map over 1,300 eerily symmetrical, shaped rings. They measure roughly 20 meters across and are formed by ancient and living coralline algae.
What seems to be a breeding ground for this unique Seagrass also appears to have harvested attention to the phantoms."

Dante lights a cigarette and takes a seat. "Is that all?"

Jagger states that it isn't, and bums a smoke off Dante before continuing with the knowledge of the Kyawthuite within the rings and the emissions from Jupiter but more specifically Europa.

"Why are you not on the expedition?"
Jagger responds with he doesn't want to be another Goonie exploring things that are simply not possible. Dante throws a set of boat keys on the table and says he needs his help with shutting this down.

The conspiracy of eighteen hundred and thirty three.

Some people within the coast of Corsica and Halo including certain researchers and UAP (Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena) witnesses, believe that aliens or advanced, non-human intelligences could reside in Earth's oceans. This theory stems from numerous reports of USOs (Unidentified Submerged Objects) entering and exiting water, as well as the fact that the vast majority of the ocean remains unexplored.
Stemming from the 1800's a meteor phenomenon occurred.

The most famous and transformative historical event involving "falling stars" was the Leonid meteor storm of November 12–13, 1833, which saw an estimated 100,000 to 150,000 meteors per hour light up the sky. It was so intense that it was perceived as the end of the world by many, leading to widespread panic and religious fervor.

Key Historical Witness Accounts
* "The Night the Stars Fell" was used to reset calendars in some Indigenous cultures. It stopped the Padua astronomical clock.

* Eyewitness Descriptions: People described the sky in "fiery commotion," with meteors appearing as thick as snowflakes, covering the entire continent. The Sea split and some believe the shower created circles within the Sea as they descended into it. Speculative conception * USO Reports: Reports suggest UFOs (or USOs) traveling in and out of the ocean, leading some to theorize that they have underwater bases. The symmetry of the rings, Sylvancroft discussed.
* The "Undiscovered" Argument Government agent Orologio : Because over 70% of the ocean is unmapped, some argue it is the perfect hiding spot for an advanced, hidden, or "ultraterrestrial" presence.
* Scientific Interest in Extreme Life: While scientists like Adam Horne, mainly study deep-sea hydrothermal vents to understand extreme lifeforms (like microbes) or to search for life on icy moons like Europa, these studies fuel speculation about unknown intelligent life in our own deep ocean. The basis of Stetson Lucia' research.
* Military Encounters: Reports of UAP activity over large bodies of water and suggestions from some investigators, like Jagger Tortorella , hint at a potential connection between UAP and the ocean.

* Religious Panic: Many individuals, including members of the Mormon community and other religious groups, interpreted the scene as the biblical "falling of stars" and a sign of the Second Coming.

* Famous Observers: Notable figures like King Numa Pompilius of Rome later recorded their memories of this awe-inspiring event. Though his accounts were suspect due to him believing in water nymphs.

* "Stars Fell on Lady Milton- though months apart May 11, 1833 the cause of storm preluded to the sinking of the ship. The first to fall from speculative Europa outcry.

Impact on Science and Culture
* Birth of Modern Meteor Astronomy: Prior to 1833, meteors were often thought to be atmospheric phenomena. Yale professor Denison Olmsted sent out a public appeal for eyewitness observations, leading to one of the first successful crowdsourced science projects.
* Discovery of Meteor Storms: The event was linked to the Comet Tempel-Tuttle, which has an orbital period of roughly 33 years, confirming that these showers follow predictable, periodic orbits. Some even believe according to Dr. Sylvancrofts theory that the Drake Equation by Dr.Frank Drake plays a part in the suspected two hundred year recycling of events. Hence, the discoveries on the remains of Graham Island- Star Jelly" Phenomenon: Some witnesses reported finding a gelatinous, trembling substance, sometimes called "star jelly," on the ground after the Leonid shower, which was believed to be related to the meteors themselves.
