End
(A/N) Honestly, this is probably the last one.
Amelia and Eli came home just before Kat came back with Xiomara. Which was lucky, because they got to warn Eli there was going to be one more person for the foreseeable future. Not forever, probably, but for a while.
"Wait, so, how many siblings do I have now?" Eli asked, rubbing his head.
"Nine," Secilia replied. "Plus me and Danny, and Logan and Annmarie, and Elizabeth, there can be up to 14 teens living in the house at any given time. Others will come over for dinner or pop in for a snack, or lunch, and Avon isn't over much but is kinda technically your sibling, even if he's only Summaria and Nova's half brother, and you're the kid of Loraine, who came after their mom, so it's weird."
Eli looked confused. "I didn't understand a word of that."
"I'm not surprised," Annmarie said, not looking up from her book. "We rarely understand what Secilia's saying.
"You understand me more than that," Secilia complained. "I don't talk in that big of words."
"But you talk fast, and you follow a weird train of thought. Those two together make it difficult to understand you." Annmarie replied.
"You sound like you've rehearsed that," Secilia muttered, storming off.
"Ignore her, she'll be fine in a few hours," Amelia said, smiling at Eli.
"I need to get back to Slugterra," Eli said apologetically. "My team has been without me for too long."
Amelia nodded. "We'll get you back to your team. Remember, Emma can teleport, so you can be down in half a second. But you need to stay here for at least a little while, so no one gets too suspicious that we're sending you out on a mission already."
"The world knows of magic and aliens?"
Annmarie nodded. "Yeah, and they recognize that the world's best defenders are all clustered right here. And that Mr. Garrison is the adopted father of most of them."
All of a sudden, the door opened and a horse with horns, a scorpion tail, and feathered wings cantered in. A girl with wings and a scorpion tail slid off it's back, and the horse appeared to jump, a bright light obscuring their vision for a moment, and when it cleared, Kat was standing there.
"Hey guys, this is Mara," Kat said. Eli blinked at her owlishly, before looking around and realizing this was probably a regular occurrence, as Annmarie hadn't looked up from her book.
"Hey Kat. I would get up and give you a hug, but Clownfish Head is taking a nap on my lap again."
"Clownfish Head?" Eli asked, confused.
"Logan. He's from a clownfish family, so he's got white and orange hair. His little sister got all the black and orange genes."
"Like you have dark blue hair," Eli said.
Kat grinned. "He catches on fast. Mara, if you let your wings hang limp one more time, I'm literally tying them in place. Trust me, it's not comfortable."
Mara smiled slightly, adjusting her wings so they were folded more neatly against her back. "Sorry."
"Spread them out when you sit down," Annmarie advised. "That way, you don't bash your primaries against the floor."
"Mara, this is Annmarie. Logan-" She was interrupted by Logan's head popping up.
"Oh, hello new person," Logan said cheerfully, attempting to pat his messy hair down. It didn't work, so he left it alone. "I'm Logan. Or Clownfish Head. Either one works."
Mara tilted her head. "Clownfish Head?"
Annmarie put her book down, pointing to Logan's head. "I think it's pretty self-explanatory."
"Are you two a couple?"
Annmarie and Logan looked at each other, then at her, then burst out laughing.
Kat started giggling too. "Um, Mara, no, they aren't."
"Not at all," Logan gasped.
"Nope," Annmarie confirmed.
Emma teleported in. "Please tell me you're all laughing cause someone finally asked if Annmarie and Logan are a couple."
Amelia, who was simply grinning. "Yep, Mara asked."
Emma started cracking up. "HA! THAT'S AWESOME!"
"Who got my sister all riled up?" Colyn asked, coming into the room and adjusting his glasses.
Emma teleported to in front of him. "Mara asked Annmarie and Logan if they're a couple!"
Colyn barked a short laugh, patting his sister's shoulder. "That explains it. She's been waiting for ages for someone to ask that."
"Why?" Annmarie asked, amusement written all over her face.
"Cause she really wanted to see how'd you react. She's getting quite the kick out of this."
"I'm totally calling Kyra!" Emma said, heaving a breath and straightening up. "She'll get a kick out of it too. Now we just have to see if someone will ever ask Kiara and Sebastian."
Colyn shook his head. "You and your ships."
Emma shrugged. "Okay. Onyx done with dinner?"
Colyn inhaled deeply and nodded. "I can smell it, so food must be almost ready."
"What's for dinner?" Eli wondered.
"Ramen, I believe. You don't mind fish?"
Logan grinned. "We have fish a lot around here."
"Mostly when Annmarie and Logan are over. Or the Runaways. Or Tiberious." Emma agreed. "All of them mostly eat fish. Well, the Runaways have a girl who is a carnivore, and she eats the fish."
Mara looked mildly confused. "What does fish have to do with ramen?"
Eli smiled. He'd be going back to Slugterra, had a new family, even if his old one had died, and was content to know his aunt, uncle, and cousins would be avenged. He'd found his mom and a whole bunch of new siblings. He was happy and knew this would be an adventure.
(A/N) Yep, I'm happy with this ending. Eli will now be present whenever the Fantasyverse team is mentioned unless he's in Slugterra. Bye!
