So this is my first R27 fanfic, and first femtsuna also.  But I will eventually someday write a boyxboy R27, for those who like that one better.  So yeah.  I hope you enjoy this story ImmortalFriend27_72 .  So anyways, I feel bad that I just keep coming up with new ideas for new stories instead of updating my other work.  But I already have an idea for the other three works I have.  I'm sorry for any bad spelling and grammar.  That picture of Reborn I used, when I first saw it I thought, "You sexy beast" I don't even know how long I looked at the picture.

Once again as usual Tsuna is training under the ever so watchful eyes of Reborn who seemed more than happy to shoot her for no reason at all. It seemed like shooting at her made his day even better, and more eager to "train" her to be the best boss in history.

"Reborn....I've been running for over two hours. Can't I take a break now, I'm tired." Tsuna panted as she began to slow her pace. Even though she couldn't see Reborn she knew that Reborn was near by watching her. But she didn't need her eyes to know where he was, since she could somehow feel his presence very close to her, she knew which direction he's at, but just couldn't pin point where he was exactly.

"No. You're too slow, you need to raise your stamina more, and what better way than to run." Reborn said as he appeared in front of Tsuna causing her to stop.

She was beyond tired, earlier before starting to run, Reborn had actually been going over her assignments and of course "gently" correcting her mistakes. Later on Reborn began teaching her how to fight without her being in HDWM a full hour nonstop, and Reborn wasn't holding back at all when he aimed kicks and punches at her. And only a twenty minute break before starting her running, so hearing that she still needed to keep running after all that made her very upset. She wasn't as tired as she would have normally been a few months ago, but still she was tired.

Tsuna frowned, "But it's so late now, it's already starting to get dark!" She took in a deep breath while she placed her hands on her knees, 'And I'm tired, I'm so sore.' She thought as she lifted up her hand to wipe away some of the sweat that had formed on her forehead.

Reborn opened his mouth about to contradict her, but then stopped for a few seconds, "I'm hungry so we'll stop for today." He said as he turned away from her and began to walk back in the direction of the Sawada household.

Tsuna felt her mouth slightly hang open before closing it with a shake of her head and quickly followed after Reborn. As she walked behind him she couldn't help but notice how tall and wide his shoulders were. She had been so used to having to look down at Reborn or having to crouch down to be at eye level, or even have Reborn on her shoulder. But now she's the one who has to look up at him which hurts her neck, especially when he stands very close to her, which she doesn't mind much. She likes being near him, she feels safe....even though he shoots at her.

Tsuna honestly felt happy for Reborn and the rest of the Arcobaleno that the curse was finally gone and that they were finally able to grow back to their original size. But she didn't like it. She didn't like it at all, Reborn had begun to grow a week after the curse was lifted two months ago, and at a fast pace at that too. Too fast for her liking since it was catching a lot of peoples' attention especially other women. Right now he looked as young as a teenager, seventeen years old at best, though a very tall one. She had to admit that Reborn was handsome, and now she finally realized that Reborn wasn't exaggerating when he said that he was popular among the women. She really cared for Reborn, she's always cared for him, so it annoys her that many women gather around him like sharks during a feeding frenzy just because of his looks. She only wants the best for him, not those happy busty showing women. Though there are some women who just look at him, but don't try to get near him. But still she doesn't like other people looking at him like some sort of prize.

She really cares for him, so these moments where it was only him and her together made her happy even though it always ended up with her running for her life. Though at the moment it was silent, and they were walking at a slow pace so she wasn't straining herself to keep up with him....much.

Enjoying the comfortable silence between them Tsuna smiled softly as she walked faster to catch up to Reborn, 'If only this moment would last longer.' Tsuna thought as she discreetly looked up at Reborn while raising up her hand to cover her eyes from the sun. And the sight before her was breath taking. So breath taking that she forgot all about how sore, and tired she was. The remaining light of the sun was shining just at the right angle on Reborn and made him look more like some sort of heavenly being, rather than a sadist happy trigger hitman tutor.

At the sight before her Tsuna stopped walking and let her hand drop from covering her eyes left in some sort of shock just looking after Reborn who continued walking before turning back to look at her.

Reborn turned towards Tsuna to see what stopped her from walking only to find her looking at him. He didn't really care, though it sort of intrigued him....for a few seconds, "Dame-Tsunayume keep walking or I'll leave you behind." He said as he looked at her for a few more seconds before turning away.

Tsuna blinked a few times and slapped her cheeks, "I'm coming okay." She said as she ran up to him to walk besides him.

Reborn was more than content with the silence between them, no unnecessary questions, and complaining like there are most of the times after training. Having made sure that Tsuna wasn't looking at him, Reborn glanced down at Tsuna while pulling down the edge of his fedora to cover his eyes. She was smiling, faintly but still a smile none the less.

'A smile suits her best, better than when she's mad or sad.' Reborn thought as he looked back up to face the direction they were going with a flick to his fedora to place it back into place correctly.

By the time that they got home both of them could smell the delicious smell of Nana's cooking, which was a good thing since Tsuna was so hungry she would have probably eaten a rock or maybe anything that Reborn gave her....which she'd later on end up regretting since it might be some sort of Vongola prototype energy food.

"We're home"." Tsuna called out to her mom as she peeked her head into the kitchen followed by Reborn who just went in and sat on one of the chairs.

Nana turned away from the stove to look at her only daughter, "Welcome home Tsu-chan, Reborn-kun. Why don't you both go and wash your hands, dinner is almost done."

"Okay." Tsuna said as she walked away and headed off to wash her hands. Though had second thoughts as she looked down at her clothes and walked back to the kitchen, "Oka-san I think I'll take a bath first. Can you put away my share of food away so I can eat it later."

"Okay, take your time." Nana said as she smiled at her then glanced at the clock, "6:30 it's so late, I need to finish this up." Nana muttered to herself.

Tsuna then walked off towards her room to get a new set of clothes but not before hearing Reborn excuse himself to wash his hands like Nana had said. Reborn didn't take order from anybody, he only listens to the orders from the ninth, mama(Nana) and himself.

Tsuna sighed as she went up the stairs heading towards her room, 'Might as well just change into my pajamas now.' She thought.

After Reborn had washed his hands he came back into the kitchen to find Nana setting the table and of course his cup of espresso. Reborn didn't care what time it was, day or night, but there always had to be a cup of espresso when he wanted one. And it seemed like Nana had somehow began to notice when he wanted one.

Reborn sat at his seat and picked up his cup, "Thank you."

"How do you like your new room Reborn-kun?" Nana asked as she set the final plate of food on the table, and almost as if she had called out to everyone in the house telepathically, everyone came running into the kitchen and sitting themselves in their chairs.

Reborn glanced up at Nana before looking down at the remaining espresso in his cup, "It's perfect."

Nana smiled, "Is that so. I'm glad." Not long ago Iemitsu had decided to have more rooms added to the house since "their family" had gotten so big. And of course since Reborn had begun to grow at that time, and Iemitsu didn't want his little girl to be in the same room with Reborn. So Reborn had to get his own room. And of course being Vongola, and having many connections and resources, those extra rooms were all built in less than a week while the entire family had gone on a paid vacation courtesy of Iemitsu's boss. And of course Reborn and everyone in the household was included in that vacation. Though the one thing during the entire vacation that bothered Tsuna was that not once did Nana ever question or find it weird that Reborn had grown so quickly.

"Oh! I almost forgot to put some food aside for Tsu-chan." Nana said as she quickly went to put some food away for Tsuna.

Reborn set aside his now empty cup and began to eat his food, and as usual it was delicious. It wasn't like those fancy restaurants that seemed to work hard to make the food taste good, and have a good texture, this food wasn't like that.

This food might be simple in the eyes of others, but it was good and had something that most restaurants don't. The love of cooking. Whenever she cooked Nana always looks happy. And having to make extra food for people makes her even happier because she gets to cook, something that she loves. And she genuinely enjoys seeing her family smile while eating the food she made. There is no desire to be the best or gain any money out of her cooking, so maybe that's why her cooking taste better, and just feels like....home. Even the very atmosphere in the house was very inviting.

The first time that Reborn had come to the house he felt very out of place, he didn't want to show it, and of course being the best hitman in the world he was good at not showing his emotions or how he really felt. But being in that house was brining up old emotions that he had put away, since being a hitman letting emotions get involved in work would most likely end up with death or a serious injury, or get someone else hurt. So Reborn had learned to keep his emotions in check, and not to get too attached to people since people easily die especially when they're an acquaintance with the mafia.

As time had passed he began to let himself slightly relax in that house that would be his new home for a while. Reborn had actually began to like it there, though Tsuna and the other kids somehow managed to annoy him at times. But over time he came to like being near Tsuna. He was and is always with or near her, and maybe just a bit overprotective in his own way. No one unless it's someone that he approves of touches or gets near Tsuna at all.

After Tsuna had finished bathing it was already past 7:00 o'clock so she quickly went to her room to fully dry and brush her hair before heading down to eat. But before she could make it to the stairs she was stopped.

Just when she was about to take the first step up the stairs she was stopped by a voice sounded right behind her. And of course scaring her.

"Hiee!" Tsuna screamed as she quickly turned towards the source of the voice. Reborn. Reborn was standing very close to her with his ever present smirk on his lips looking quite satisfied at what he had just done.

Tsuna closed her eyes as she sighed and placed her hand on her chest over her beating heart, "You scared me. What do you want Reborn?" She asked as she looked up at him.

"Nothing much." Reborn said as he crossed his arms across his chest, "You might want to eat your food now."

"I can't right now. I have to brush my hair."

"Well then you might as well start saying goodbye to that food. That stupid cow has been trying to reach it for a while now. You should be thankful your mother put some food away for you." Reborn said as he glanced down at Tsuna one last time before heading towards the stairs to his own room, but stopped as Tsuna ran off towards the kitchen.

At hearing that Lambo wanted to eat her food Tsuna forgot all about her hair and ran into the kitchen in hopes that Lambo hadn't gotten to it.

Entering the kitchen she saw Lambo pulling a chair across the floor towards the open fridge to climb it to get to the food. Tsuna quickly went and grabbed Lambo before he could do anything else and set him on the floor, "What are you doing Lambo?"

"Lambo-san isn't doing anything."

Tsuna placed a hand on her knees as she crouched down to face Lambo, "Is that so? Then what were you doing just now? You do know that that is my food. You already ate yours."

"But I'm hungry again! Give me your food Dame-Tsuna." Lambo said as he stretched out his hands towards Tsuna as if expecting her to just hand him her food.

Tsuna sighed and stood up, "Sorry to hear that your hungry, but I'm not giving you my food....but" Lambo began to tear up, "I can share some of it with you."

Immediately Lambo brightened up and smiled at her while nodding. Tsuna reached for her food in the refrigerator and of course since it was cold already she had to heat it up.

While waiting for the food to heat up Tsuna began to prepare herself something to drink. Even though it was only for herself, she wanted some tea, "Lambo do you want something to drink?" Tsuna asked.

"Grape juice!" Lambo exclaimed as he sat himself in one of the chairs at the table.

Tsuna served Lambo his juice and she served herself her tea, and just as both drinks were served her food was finally ready to eat. Pulling plates from the cabinet she put half of the food on her plate and half on Lambo's, and the both began to eat.

Reborn watched Tsuna and Lambo for a while. They were both talking and laughing, and with the occasional boasting from Lambo of how great he is that he was able to get a free serving of takoyaki today. Finding their talk normal and actually quite boring Reborn walked off heading towards his room.

~Time Skip (1 Hour Later)~

Slightly upset is probably an understatement. Tsuna was beginning to get annoyed with Lambo. Lambo didn't want to go to sleep at all he wanted to play, and since Tsuna was the only one up aside from him, she had to play with him. She was able to get him to help her clean up their dishes, she was able to get him to brush his teeth, but she can't get him to go to sleep.

"Like I said, it's time for you to go to sleep. I have to wake up early to go to school, and I haven't even gotten a chance to brush my hair." Tsuna said as she once again tried to tuck Lambo into his bed.

"No. I'm not tired, so you can't sleep either."

Tsuna sighed, "Lambo please...." but before she could finish she was cut off.

"It's so quiet, and I don't want to be alone." Lambo said as he sat on the bed, "I....I don't like the dark." Lambo said as lunged forward and hugged Tsuna tightly.

Knowing that no matter what she did Lambo wouldn't go to sleep, especially since I-pin had gone to get more training with her master, and Bianchi was out looking for new ingredients. Tsuna sighed and placed a hand on top of Lambo's head, "How about this, you can sleep in my room tonight."

Lambo stood up and began to jump on the bed excitedly, "Yes!"

Smiling Tsuna grabbed Lambo in midair and headed off towards the door, 'Hopefully he falls asleep soon so I can do what I need to.'

Just like she had hoped Lambo did indeed fall asleep. Once Tsuna had entered her room and set Lambo on her bed he quickly got under the covers and instantly fell asleep.

With a sigh Tsuna reached for her brush and sat on the edge of her bed, "I wonder if Reborn is asleep?" She thought as she brushed her hair, trying to get the knots that formed in her hair out.

"I'm not asleep dame-Tsuna."

Tsuna had almost screamed but remembered that Lambo was asleep so she had tried to hold her scream in, which she succeeded in doing, "Reborn what are you doing here?" Tsuna said as she looked at Reborn come through a door that she didn't even know existed. Looking through the "new" door on the wall next to her closet she could see Reborn's room.

Looking in the direction that she was looking at Reborn said, "I had this door installed. I can't exactly leave your side, so since I can't sleep in the same room as you, I might as well have an easy access to you if anything happens. And of course to wake you up." He looked back at her in her light blue pajamas. One of the things that he liked about her pajamas was that they covered enough, her pants reached just above her ankles, and her shirt's sleeve barely at her elbow. After all a young girl shouldn't go around showing too much skin.

Placing her brush down she sighed, "Well I'm glad to know that. So is there something that you need?"

"Nothing in particular. I see that you couldn't even get him to sleep in his own bed." Reborn said as he glanced at Lambo as he went and sat on Tsuna's chair.

For a second Tsuna thought that she had seen some sort of emotions fill his eyes, but it was gone too quickly to even be sure she had seen right, "Okay, I know I should have tried more in getting him to sleep in his own bed, but I just couldn't leave him alone." Tsuna quickly covered her mouth and looked over at Lambo to see if he was still asleep since she had spoken a little too loud. At seeing that he was still asleep she sighed, "Can we go talk somewhere else."

Reborn wanted to sigh but held it in, so lifting one hand he motioned for Tsuna to lead the way. Tsuna stood up and walked over towards her door, and opened it.

Once they were both out of the room and standing in the hallway Tsuna turned to speak to Reborn, but before she could ask anything Reborn began to speak.

"Is there something you want to ask me? Lately you've been rather distracted." Reborn said as he leaned against the wall and looked at Tsuna. Though with just a look it seemed as if Reborn already knew what she wanted to ask.

"M-me. I haven't been distracted at all. It's just all the stress from training and school, and...."Tsuna stopped her rambling as she took a deep breath, "....Actually I do have something to ask you...." Tsuna opened and closed her mouth repeatedly almost as if trying to figure out what exactly to say which annoyed Reborn.

"Just say it." He growled as he crossed his arms across his chest.

Tsuna jumped a bit and glanced up at him, then looked away. She was very glad that the only light in the house was the light coming from her room which was still open since it just made Reborn visible enough to know that he was there, "Since you're growing back to your original size....I....I ummmm....what I mean is will you and Bianchi...." Tsuna clenched her hands, "You know what never mind. I need a glass of water." And she stormed off leaving Reborn watching after her.

Reborn smirked as he watched the faint form of Tsuna run away. Knowing that she would most likely take a while in getting that glass of water so he decided to finally go to sleep.

"You still have a lot to learn dame-Tsuna. A boss shouldn't speak in that way." He said to himself.

(Reborn POV)

Seeing Tsuna all flustered was rather adorable. Adorable? I must be very tired if I'm thinking like that, 'She isn't even appealing, she still has a long ways to go if she wants to achieve that.' I thought as I walked into Tsuna's room and went through my new secret door. But not before looking at Lambo.

Just looking at that brat on her bed makes my blood boil.

(Normal POV)

Not that long ago he was the one who would sit on her bed or even lay on it while putting traps all around the bed, but now....now he can't. Frowning Reborn entered his room from the new door and closed that door.

Tsuna was embarrassed. She was scared, and most of all angry at herself. She was embarrassed since she had almost asked Reborn what she had wanted to ask him for a while now, "since you're growing back to your original size, are you and Bianchi going to stay together and get married....or are you done with that relationship and are you interested in anyone."

She was scared, because if she had managed to ask what she wanted, there was always the possibility that Reborn would have said that he would stay with Bianchi. And just thinking of that made her sad, thinking of Reborn with someone is something that she doesn't want to imagine, "But Bianchi and Reborn have been together for so long so I shouldn't care, right?" Tsuna muttered as she flicked on the lights in the kitchen, "I shouldn't care, but it hurts." Tsuna said as she felt her eyes begin to sting.

She was mad at herself for not having the courage to ask the question, and maybe in that way she could have gotten the chance to express these feelings or completely shut them away. She wanted answers, but she was too afraid to know.

These feelings that were burning her from the inside out, these feelings that she has now begun to realize were more than just feelings of friendship or family. Sure she was dense, but she wasn't stupid. She knew these feelings were special, special just for Reborn.

No matter how much these feelings burned she had made her decision, 'I won't say anything to him. To anyone. I mean they could change soon, so there's nothing to worry about.' She thought as she felt tears on her cheek, 'And besides he probably doesn't even like me. I'm nothing more than a student to him.'

With the back of her hand she wiped the tears away, and went to get a glass of water. She had just said she wanted water as an excuse to leave, but now that she thought about it she was quite thirsty. Once she had her cup of water she turned off the lights in the kitchen and headed back to her room with her glass of water. And thankfully she didn't see Reborn anywhere.
