Saumya's POV

Finally, it has been so long. I stare at the uni for god knows how long and then finally I get out of the car to go inside.

Rudra (worried) - Will you be ok?

Me (smiling) - You have asked me this a hundred times... I will be fine Rudra...and so will this baby...

I head towards my class, while he heads towards his. Why do I feel that today won't be a good day? Suddenly, I feel 2 special people hugging me and the sense of fear that I was feeling, immediately fades away.

Me (smiling) - Gauri... Anika...

Gauri (teasing) - How was last night?

Me (smiling) - Nothing happened...

Anika (worried) - Are you okay, Saumya?

Me (worried) - Y...yes...

Did they find out about the morning incident? Oh, I hope not... they are scary when they become protective.

Anika (annoyed) - Don't lie... Someone tried to shoot you this morning...

Me (worried) - How did...

Before I could finish my question, Gauri starts to check me to make sure that there are no bruises on me.

Gauri (worried) - Are you ok? Is that baby ok? I swear, I will kill that Rudra when I see him... he promised me to take care of you but...

Me (teary-eyed) - You guys, care a lot for me...and I am fine... don't hurt Rudra... he also cares about me...

Gauri (worried) - Why are you crying?

Anika (smiling) - These are pregnancy hormones Gauri... she is starting to get her mood swings... and Saumya, Shivay messaged me about the morning incident...

I smile and wipe my tears. Oh my god, my stranger... I leave after wishing Anika and Gauri bye to go to that art room to send him a letter. I hope that they will read my letter.

Hey Mr Protein shake,

I love parathas... in fact, I can have a protein shake for breakfast, lunch & dinner. That's how much I love it. Anyway, I am so sorry for not replying to you for so long, I have had some family problems. Anyway, let's use the old method of writing letters as I don't want to use phones. As if I know you in real life then that will ruin the anonymousness. Anyway, I will write this much today. I want to tell you so much but that will take forever and I am sure you must be a busy person. I will wait for your reply.

I leave the note at the normal spot and I leave to go to my class. On my way, I see a tensed Bhavya, I rush up to her to help her.

Bhavya (tensed) - Saumya... actually, can you come with me to the old building of our school... actually, these guys keep on asking me to meet them alone there... they blackmailed me... and I don't want to go by myself... can you come with me? The police are on their way as well...they told me to keep them busy while they come...

I look at the tensed Bhavya, and I immediately decide to help her, despite my brain and my gut telling me not to.

Me (worried) - Fi...Fine, let's go...

I follow Bhavya down the lockers and towards one of the abandoned buildings that we are banned to go to. As soon as I arrive inside the building, the lights that were on suddenly get of. I hold onto Bhavya's hand feeling scared. I guess my baby doesn't like it either because I am on the verge of puking. I turn around to puke but all my puke falls on Rahul's face.

Rahul (disgusted) - You....

Me (annoyed) - So you were the one annoying my friend... listen Rahul stay away from her or...

Rahul (smirking and wiping his face) - Or what... Bhavya... didn't you tell her that you were on our side...

Bhavya lets go of my hand and hold on to Rahul while smirking. I should have known. Why am I such an idiot? This is why Anika & Gauri always told me to be careful before trusting people. I am such an idiot.

Me (angry) - You betrayed me... I should have known...

Bhavya (angry) - You know what Saumya, you are so innocent... I was the one that got you & Rudra drunk and I even recorded you both being in an inappropriate position... why do you think I did that? I hated you Saumya... from day one... you took away my best friends and then my love... ever since you entered the primary school... Anika became closer to you... even Gauri... they left me for you...I hated you from that point onwards... I pretended to be your friend... for god knows how long... and to be honest... I started forgiving you... but then you stole Rudra from me... HOW COULD YOU? You knew I liked him... then why the f*** did you steal him from me? I could have had him fall for me? Why did you betray me?

Me (upset) - I never knew you liked him that much Bhavya... I am really sorry ...

Bhavya (annoyed) - Just shut up (pulls my hair)... even if you did know... what could you have done? NOTHING! You are a cheater... And the worst friend any human being can have...

Sheetal (smirking) - So true Bhavya... can you slap her more me, please... I don't want to get my hands dirty (Bhavya slaps me hard)... this slap is because your bloody sister stole ASR from me... how can she?

Me (smirking despite blood coming out from my mouth) - because she can... my jiju doesn't deserve an idiot like you... neither Rudra nor my jiju is some toy that I and my sister stole from you...they are humans and they have every right to choose their life partner... you know what Sheetal... you don't even deserve anyone in your life... neither do you, Bhavya... both of you are so coward to hit a pregnant woman... when she is tied ... why don't you untie me and then I will show you who is more powerful...

Bhavya is about to slap me when a strong hand stops her and pushes her away.

Me (smiling) - I knew you will come...

Di (teary-eyed) - Are you okay?

Di starts to untie me and Sheetal is about to slap my di when my handsome jiju stops her and pushes her.

Jiju (worried) - Sorry Saumya, we are late... actually, we were calling the police...

As soon as I am untied by di, I kick Sheetal in a place which I won't mention as it would be inappropriate.

Rahul (angry) - ENOUGH!

Rahul comes out of the shadow and I get shocked to see Anjali di at gunpoint.

Rahul (angry) - If anyone moves then this 5 months pregnant Anjali will die...

Di (angry) - Have some shame... she is your wife and is pregnant with your child...

Rahul (smirking) - I don't care... I would rather have you as my wife ... then have her...

Jiju (angry) - Mind your tongue, Rahul...

As the argument is happening, I see Aman sneaking behind Rahul with a bat while Gauri & Anika are sneaking behind Sheetal & Bhavya who are smiling with nothing in their hands. Soon, the bat hits Rahul and he faints while Bhavya and Sheetal get punched by Gauri & Anika.

Anjali di (smiling and hugging Aman) - Aman...

Aman replicates the hug, I look around to see couples all around me. Where is my husband? I am feeling so lonely without him.

Rudra (shouting) - Here he is...
