Khushi's POV

I rush into the office wearing a purple Indian traditional dress as the only cloth shop nearby was the Indian clothing store. 

The receptionist looks at me with a kind smile but doesn't recognise me. Obviously, she doesn't recognise me because she isn't the same receptionist that was rude to me.

Receptionist (smiling) - Hello, how may I help you?

Me (smiling) - I actually am here for my internship...

Receptionist (smiling) - Ms Khushi Gupta? (I nod)... great, boss is waiting for you in her cabin... so (comes closer and whispers in my ear)... be careful, she is in a bad mood... (goes far)... good luck...

No one's POV

Khushi with a little bit of confidence goes towards the office, and as soon as she knocks on the door, a cold voice asks her to come in.

Boss (smirking) - So you are ms Khushi Kumari Gupta?

Khushi (nervous) - Yes mam

Boss (smiling) - So you were the one that made my best friend get fired?...

Khushi (nervous) - No mam, I...

Boss (annoyed) - Did you or didn't you get angry at the receptionist?

Khushi (lowering her head) - Yes mam...

Boss (angry) - Well because of you, my best friend... got fired... what wrong did she do? All she did was tell you the truth ... but middle-class people like you don't know how to accept the truth... I am your boss from today on words and for this 6 months... I am going to make your life a real hell... I am going to torture you so much...you are going to regret coming here...

Khushi (teary-eyed) - No mam...

Boss (angry) - don't answer back to the boss, go to the basement... and if you don't know where it takes the stupid receptionist with you and get me some old files...

Khushi stands there with her head low, feeling depressed.

Boss (angry) - GO!

Khushi quickly runs towards the receptionist and everyone who heard the conversation felt sorry for her especially the receptionist as she came up to Khushi and gave her a hug.

Receptionist (wiping her tears) - It's fine Khushi, she is like that to most people...

Khushi (upset) - What did I do wrong? I never made the lady get fired...

Receptionist (upset) - Actually, I heard that our main boss he saw the incident and he hates when his staff disrespects his guest... so what he did is basically made her apologise to you and then fired her... Lavanya mam got to know about this and she started blaming you for the cause of the problem... but you aren't... that old stupid receptionist disrespected other staff before as well but none of them had the guts to tell our boss.... But thanks to you... she got a deserved punishment...

Khushi (upset) - What did I do?

Receptionist (smiling) - Well, first of all, you gave her a little bit of attitude which made her scream at you... if she didn't scream then our boss wouldn't have found out...

Khushi (upset) - But, it's because of your stupid boss that Lavanya boss hates me...

Receptionist (smiling) - Lavanya doesn't care that you fired her best friend... but she is upset as her boyfriend, who is our boss, stood up for you... let's go before that rakshas comes and eats us up.

She holds my hand and takes me downstairs where she is greeted by a dark alleyway. While holding the receptionist tightly, she goes inside to find the files that Lavanya wants.

Receptionist (feeling her being scared) - Don't worry Khushi, I will never leave you...

Khushi (smiling) - Thank you... now can you please tell me what files that the rakshas wanted?

The lady goes through some racks and picks up some books as if she knew that she had to do this while Khushi was holding the phone torch. After the work is done, the lady takes Khushi back upstairs and then gives her a smile.

Lady (smiling) - Learn to stand up... if you don't stand up then people will take advantage of you...

The lady then leaves Khushi in front of Lavanya's office and then goes back to her work. Khushi listening to the lady's advice knocks on the door with confidence.

Lavanya - Come in

Khushi goes towards Lavanya's cabin and puts down her stuff and as then looks at Lavanya for further instructions, but this time her face shows confidence instead of fear which makes Lavanya shocked.
