♕ Chapter 19

Rose opened her eyes just enough to see the sunlight filling her bedroom. She shrugged and  hugged 'someone' who she thought is a pillow tightly. But there's something weird about this pillow as it smelt perfectly nice and it was warm as she felt so comfortable hugging it.

She was curious as the pillow started to move. Rose opened her eyes and the identity of the pillow finally revealed. Her arms were all over his chest and her face was just inches from his neck. Her eyes widened as Seth opened his eyes, smiling. "Morning," he said playfully and winked.

Rose screamed. "Get away from me!" she exclaimed and pushed him away. For the second time, Seth fell off from the bed and his back hit the floor. Rose pulled the cover to her body and bit her lips worriedly. Did she slept on him the whole night?

"Do you always do that when you wake up in the morning? Pushing people until they fell off from the bed?" Seth asked sarcastically as he pushed himself up to his feet. Rose was blushing as she asked, "What happened yesterday?" she stuttered.

Seth crinkled his nose. "You slept on me. Isn't that obvious?" he asked, throwing his hands up in the air. If it wasn't because of Rose pushed him until he fell off from the bed, it would have been a perfect morning. He wished he woke up first before her.

"I didn't! I mean, how could I?" Rose asked worriedly and tried to remember what happened yesterday. Seth sat on the bed. "You should figure that out yourself," he smiled and stood up, heading for a bath. Suddenly, he turned himself facing her. "Maybe you were so attracted to me," he winked.

"Jerk! Why would I?!" Rose gushed and threw a pillow at him. The pillow hit his face and he laughed, shaking his head before walking into the bathroom. Rose sighed and lay back on the bed, thinking on what she just did. Is it true she slept on him last night? Why? This is so freaking embarassing. She shouldn't have done that! The only thing that Rose could do is covered her face using the pillow and mourned.

"Did you have a good sleep yesterday, Seth?" Tom asked him during breakfast. Rose choked as she remembered what happened this morning - the fact that she slept on him last night. Jace eyed her curiously as he sensed that Rose was hiding something.

"Very," Seth grinned and glanced at Rose, winking. Rose shut her eyes, her face blushed and she looked down, regretting everything. Tom nodded. "Good then. What are your plan today?" he asked and sipped his coffee. Rose shook her head. "I don't know yet, dad," she answered slowly and took a bite of her bread.

"Why don't you take him to our sub shop, Rose?" Jen suggested cheerfully. "You could teach him how to make sandwiches and everything!" Rose glimpsed at Seth. Would he want to dirty his precious hands to make sandwiches? She drawled, "I don't think Seth would want to, do you?" she looked at him.

Seth was silent for a second before he said, "Who said I don't want to?" he eyed Rose before turning his blue eyes to his parents-in-law. "I would love to go there," he said. Rose nudged his side and narrowed her eyes to him sharply. "What?" he asked, puzzled.

"Okay then. I'll close the shop just for you guys today," Mom winked. "So that Rose could show you our secret recipe!" she squealed at her. Rose faked a laugh and pretend that she was happy.

After they were done with their breakfast, Tom and Jen showed Seth their family album. He flicked the album pages and smiled everytime he looked on Rose's picture. She was really cute in her younger ages and cheerfull like always. At some point, he kinda wished that he had known her earlier - before all this marriage thing happened. Maybe Rose wouldn't hate him that much.

Seth stared out of the window when he heard a beautiful laugh. Rose was playing with the hose with Ethan in the garden. They were chasing around and somehow, the sunlight made her look even more beautiful as she laugh and smile. Seth beamed on them and enjoyed the sight of Rose's smile.

"I'll pick you up later! Have fun!" Tom said as he dropped off Seth and Rose at their sub shop. Rose waved at him and the car flew away from there. She turned herself facing her husband. "So, what are we going to do now?" she asked. Seth crinkled his nose. "It's your shop, why're you asking me?" he said, puzzled.

Rose sighed. "Fine, let's get in," she said and opened the shop door using her keys. She pushed her way in and Seth followed her from behind. He observed the shop and it's quite big. The wall is painted in grey and black, red tables and white chairs is arranged properly everywhere. The wall was decorated with some art paintings too - the shop is perfect.

"Wow, this is nice," Seth praised as he wandered around the shop. Rose put her hands on her waist. "You've never been in a sub shop before?" she asked curiously. Seth shook his head. "I've  never even eat any sub sandwich," he admitted.

"Seriously?" Rose startled as she was suprise that he never ate a sub sandwich before. It's very popular here in Andorra but he's the Crown Prince so it's not that weird if he never did eat any sub sandwich. He only eats fancy foods.  "Well, I'm going to make one for you!" she chirped and headed to the kitchen.

"Let's do it together," Seth suggested and followed her into the kitchen. Rose put on her apron and stared on him. "Do you really want to dirty your precious hand?" she asked playfully. Seth chuckled and took another apron. "Bring it on," he said and motioned towards her.

Rose started to teach Seth how to make a sub sandwich. First, she teached him how to cut the long french bread in the middle so they could stuff everything in. Rose was a pro and she only did it in a second while Seth destroyed the bread. "The bread is destroyed, Seth," she laughed as she stared on Seth who was struggling to cut it. "Just throw it away,"

"Shut up, I'm trying," Seth said and tried again but he realised that Rose was true. The bread is destroyed. Rose grinned. "Never mind. I'll cut one for you and then we could stuff everything in," she suggested and took the bread from his hand. She threw it away.

"What do you put in it?" Seth asked as he watched Rose cut another bread for him. "Anything you want. What do you like?" she asked and was done cutting the bread for him. Seth was silent, trying to think of something but he didn't know anything about sandwich. He started, "Hmm, well maybe..... Chicken?"

Rose nodded. "Okay then we'll put chicken, pepperoni, cheese and some tomatoes," she said and walked towards the fridge to get the ingredients. "You could put all that in one sandwich?" Seth asked curiously. Rose turned herself facing him. "Yes and that's why it's called sub sandwich instead of just sandwich," she answered.

Rose placed all the ingredients on the table and asked Seth to put anything he liked into his french bread. She put some chicken slices, tomatoes, pepperoni and mozarella cheese into her sandwich. Seth chose to put the chicken slices as he likes chicken, lettuce and Swiss cheese. "Okay now that we've done putting all the stuff, we have to put some sauce on it," Rose explained and handed Seth a bottle of mustard. "Pour it onto your sandwich," she said.

"How much?" Seth asked. Rose giggled. "As much as you wanted, Seth. You didn't have to ask me everything, just do as you like," Seth shrugged and squeezed the bottle but the mustard sprayed all over the desk and Rose's shirt as he squeezed it too hard.

"Seth!" Rose whined as she cleaned herself. Seth beamed on the dirty Rose and laughed. "You have mustard on your hair," he joked, intending to piss her. Rose frowned and seized the mustard bottle from him. "I'll get my revenge soon!" she said and squeezed the bottle, spraying the mustard to his shirt.

"Stop it!" Seth said as Rose was chasing him. He took a tomato sauce bottle and pointed it to her. "I've got tomatoes! Red is uglier than yellow," he said. Rose continued spraying the mustard on him. "No! Yellow is worser,"

Both of them played with the sauces and laughed. The kitchen was a mess and there's tomato sauce and mustard all over the place. Tom and Jen would kill her if they see this mess. "Okay stop. You win," Seth gave in as his sauce was finish.

Rose jumped. "Yay!" she chirped and motioned towards him. "But I'm not done yet," she said and sprayed the mustard for the last time - exactly on his face. "Done!" she said as Seth's face was covered with mustard.

"Thank you," Seth said demurely and wiped off the mustard from his face. Rose laughed and beamed on him. "You looked better in mustard, Seth. You should use it always," she joked and headed to the cabinet to take another bottle of mustard - this time, to use it for the sandwich and not for a war.

"And you looked better with tomatoes on you. Red is your colour," he prattled and took a piece of tissue to clean himself. "Whatever," Rose said and poured the mustard on their sandwich. "Now, I know you're a terrible cooker,"

"I'm a terrible sandwich maker, that's all but I can cook!"

"Liar," Rose said, disbelieving on his words. There's no way a Crown Prince knows how to cook. Seth looked at her. "Hey! I'm not joking. I was in the boy scout," he assured. Rose chuckled. "Did you boy scout thingy teach you how to cook?"

"Yeah," Seth said. "You'll be suprise on what I could do," he winked. Rose shook her head and served the sanwiches infront of him. "Try yours. I've put everything for you," she said. Seth lifted the big sandwich and took a bite as Rose waited patiently for his reaction. "So?" she asked on how the sandwich tasted.

"This is good!" Seth said with his mouth full. "I have no idea that sandwich could taste this delicious," he took another bite. Rose laughed as she watched he ate his sandwich eagerly.

"I want another one!" Seth squealed.

"Your turn," Tom handed the dice to Jace as it's his turn to play. The Humpreys and Seth were playing Snakes and Ladders while waiting for the limo to fetch Rose and Seth. Jace shook the dice in his hand before throwing it. "Three!" he shouted and moved his token. "Yes! Ladder! Goodbye guys!" he said happily as his token climbed the ladder.

"My turn," Rose took the dice. "Please make it four," Rose mumbled and shut her eyes. She needed four to get to the ladder and eventually win the game. She threw the dice and opened her eyes. "Haha two!" Jace and Ethan mocked her as she had to move her token down. "Goodbye, Rose," Jace said and moved the token for her.

Rose frowned and passed the dice to Seth. "Your turn," she said slowly as she knew she was going to loose. Seth took the dice and threw it. "Six," he said and moved his token - it climbed the ladder, leaving Rose behind. "Bye, Rose," he stucked out his tongue at her when his token passed her.

Rose slapped his back as she is annoyed. Seth took the dice and made another throw - four. He moved his token and was shock when his token landed on a snake. He had to get down back to the starting point. Rose laughed and squealed, "Yes! Wohoo!"

"Damn!" Seth cursed and moved his token back to the starting point. "Man, I hate this game!" he whined as Rose was laughing at him. Then, they heard a hon from outside the house - it must be their limo. Jen walked to the door and opened it. Mr Jameson was standing outside the door as he said, " Good night, Mrs Humprey. I've come to fetch Prince Seth and Princess Rose back to the castle,"

"Yes, come in, Mr Jameson," Jen opened the door a little wider to let him in. He bowed down to Seth and Rose. "Greetings, your Highness," he greeted them. Rose waved at him. "Hello, Mr Jameson. Seth's missed you last night," she joked and laughed. Seth nudged her side. "She's kidding," he cleared his throat.

Mr Jameson grinned. "The castle was quite without both of you," he said kindly. "Princess Meredith had been worriying about you, Prince Seth," . Seth grinned. "She shouldn't have to," he said and looked at Tom. "They've been taking care of me really well,"

Tom giggled and looked down shyly. "You're being to kind, Prince Seth," he said. Seth let out a laugh and shook his head. "No, really, you've been too nice. I had fun here," he admitted. It's a new experience for him and he had so much fun here especially with Rose - something that he wouldn't forget forever.

"It's time to go, Prince Seth, Princess Rose," Mr Jameson informed them. Rose looked down and was feeling sad as she had to leave her family again. Seth got up to his feet and motioned towards the exit door. "Thank you for everything," he said to them. Tom and Jen nodded and glanced at Rose who was about to cry.

"I'm going to miss you guys," she croaked and tried her best not to cry. Jen pulled her into her embrace. "Take care of yourself," she said, hugging her tightly. Rose nodded and let her go. She then hugged his father who was sobbing. "Eat well, sleep properly and don't forget to brush your teeth," he said to Rose.

Brush your teeth? Okay.

Rose nodded and then turned herself facing her brothers. "Take care of Mom and Dad," she said, reminding them. "No worries, Rose," Jace said, assuring her. Suddenly, Seth took her hand and tried to coax her. "Hey, it's not that we won't come back, Rose," he said, trying to make her feel better.

Rose nodded slowly and realised that he was right. "Bye, I love you," Rose drawled to her family and waved a goodbye - they waved back. Seth gave them a final smile before pulled her hand and headed towards the limo.
