Chapter 5: Love, Tears, and Regret
Julie stepped back in shock. Anna and Elsa looked at Julie with wide eyes.
"M-my sister?" she asked. "What do you mean you're my sister?"
Angelica took a deep breath. "I recognize you from the vision I brought you in a year ago. I thought I was dreaming when I saw you actually here, but I guess I wasn't."
Julie shook her head frantically. "I can't believe this! Prove it! Prove that you're my sister!"
Angelica looked at the others before looking back at Julie.
"I expected as such," she said as she reached into her pocket and grabbed a folded piece of paper. "Does this look familiar?"
Julie grabbed the paper and unfolded it. Once she read what's inside, her eyes widened.
The others gathered around Julie and read the paper as well.
"This...this is the note that was given to Father by Kai..." Anna said to Julie.
Elsa looked at Angelica. "How did you get this? And this doesn't prove anything."
Angelica pursed her lips.
She then cupped her hands and let out a swirl of light from her hands.
Julie looked at her hands and noticed that she had the same mark that Julie had.
She grabbed Angelica's hand that the mark was on.
Angelica winced. "Okay, to be fair, I didn't realize I could've started with that," she chuckled sheepishly.
Julie was silent until she turned over her own hand and matched the mark with hers.
She then looked at the group Angelica had and noticed the same mark that they had.
"The other Kingdom...they were you...the kingdom of shadows was the third kingdom that Father mentioned." Julie muttered. "That was my kingdom."
Angelica smiled. "Our kingdom."
Julie's mouth was agape for a moment until she smiled breathlessly.
Angelica sighed before closing her eyes.
"Shadow," she called, and then a moment later, Shadow appeared, startling the ones who didn't know him.
Once Shadow noticed Julie and Angelica, his eyes widened.
"Uh...I guess you started telling her the truth," he asked.
Angelica nodded, smiling.
"Wait!" Julie said. "Why-how did you call him? I thought i was the only-Shadow why didn't you-can someone please tell me the truth!"
"I am telling you the truth, Julie," Angelica said. "Father told Shadow to watch over us until we were brought together again, until our kingdom was whole again. That's why both of us can call him. And Shadow couldn't tell you anything because our mother made him promise not to until the truth was revealed, and we were reunited with them again."
Julie took a moment to process everything.
"Wait," Elsa stepped in. "You said that Shadow couldn't tell Julie anything until you were reunited with your parents again. So, your parents are alive?"
Angelica nodded. "They are. Alive and well."
Elsa and Anna looked at each other.
"But...but that means you stayed in our kingdom with our parents...you couldn't leave, but I had to. Why?" Julie asked.
"We didn't know how you made it to Arendelle unwatched and alone, but it's a good thing you did. Father wanted to get you and Mother safely to Arendelle together, but an accident happened, and Mother couldn't leave with you, so they just tried to hide you, until something happened and...yeah." Angelica explained.
"So how did you make it through the mist?" Julie asked.
Angelica smiled before holding up her hand. "Magic."
Julie pursed her lips.
She then looked at Elsa and Anna.
"So, your Mother," she said as she looked at Angelica. "And our Father, saved your Fathers life that day."
Angelica nodded, smiling brightly, and Julie gasped as she saw that bright lilac sparkle in her eyes.
"We're sisters..." she muttered.
Julie was silent for a moment before smiling.
"We're sisters!" Julie repeated, smiling.
Angelica chuckled at her.
Then Elsa walked up to the front and held Anna and Julie's hands while Julie took Angelica's.
Elsa looked at Angelica as she nodded.
"Our mothers were Northuldian," she announced.
Julie looked around to see a happy face coming from everyone.
Then Gale swirled around the sisters and made all of the trees around them light up a bright blue.

After a moment, the men start singing.
Na na na heyana
Hahiyaha naha
Elsa and Anna look at each other with wide smiles on their faces.
Naheya heya na yanuwa
Anahahe yunuwana
The woman voices started to join in to create a perfect melody of voices surrounding the forest.
Na na na heyana
Hahiyaha naha...
Yelena took Elsa and Julie's hands, smiling at the four sisters.
"We are the Northuldra," she proclaims. "We are people of the sun."
Angelica squeezed Julie's hand while smiling brightly.
Elsa then puts her hand on Julie's shoulder.
"We promise we will free this forest, and restore Arendelle," Elsa announced.
"And find the truth," Julie added as she looked at Angelica, squeezing her hand tightly.
"That's a pretty big promise, you two," Anna says as she turns to her sisters.
A boy beside Kristoff and Odonis chuckles happily.
"Free the forest? Wow!" he then notices the two men looking at him and he clears his throat. "Sorry! It's uh, some of us were born here, we've never even seen the clear sky!"
"Hey, I get it!" Kristoff says while holding out his hand for the boy to shake.
"The names' Rhyder," the boy says.
"Kristoff," he introduces.
"Odonis," he says.
.
.
.
"I heard the voice again," Elsa says to Yelena.
"Bruni says we have to go north," Julie adds.
Angelica does a quick double take and looks at her sister with confusion.
"Bruni? You named the fire spirit Bruni?" she asked.
Julie nods defensively.
"Hey, if Olaf can name the wind spirit Gale, then I can name the fire spirit Bruni, plus, I think he likes me!" she says.
Angelica chuckles. "Well, can't say I blame you, but unfortunately, you can't go north at this time."
"What do you mean?" Julie asked.
A young woman stepped in.
"The earth giants roam the north at night," she says.
Yelena smiles. "You can leave in the morning. In the meantime, you all can stay with us!"

Angelica put her hand in front of Julie, stopping her.
"Oh, we have so much catching up to do!" Angelica says to Julie, who smiles.
Angelica threw her magic up in the air and made them go into another dimension.
"Let's do this!"

.
.
There's something stirrin' up inside of me, I never felt before
Doesn't it hit you right?
Angelica pulled her sister into a dimension where they were tiny trolls.
It's like I've met another side of me, that I gotta explore
Come and see what you'll find
Then they were in a place where they were little ponies and they were running around chasing each other.
Now that you're with me, i can fin'ly see
Colors that were up in my mind, didn't know I was blind
Now they were flying in the sky using shooting stars.
Now that I'm with you, sparks are flyin' loose
Fireworks go off in my brain
They were now flying like blue birds in the sky.
And I'll never be the same
I didn't know until I found you, havin' the time of our lives
It takes two(it takes two)
Then they were riding on blue and purple staffs, one with a salamander, and the other one with a reindeer.
When I looked up, the stars were brighter
Now i know everythings better with you(everythings better with you)
They were now back in the forest. Julie and Angelica were beside the water trying to gather a few up. When Angelica tried, the water quickly dropped out of her hands as the water suddenly splashed on her, causing her to get drenched in water. Laughing, she absorbed the water off of her and dropped it back in the water. She looked at Julie as she got up and ran after her.
You got me feelin' right, feelin' right, feelin' like
Good vibes are at my door
Every day, every night
Ooh-ooh
(it takes two)
They were now flying over a clock tower with a couple of other children. Angelica waved to the boy up front as they flew away from them.
I didn't know until I found you
Havin' the time of our lives it takes two
Ooh-ooh-ooh
Angelica pulled Julie to a wishing well where both of them used their magic to create fireworks around them. They looked at each other before taking each other's hands and spinning each other around.
now(now)
Now that, now that we got it all together
Now we're together, we got it all
Olaf and Sven were on top of Notre-Dame Cathedral dancing with three gargoyles.
now(now)
Now that(now that)
Now that we got it all together
Now we're together, we got it all
Angelica and Julie caught up with Olaf and Sven on a branch on top of a large tree watching the stars.
You got me feelin' right, feelin' right, feelin' like
Good vibes are at my door
Every day, every night
Ooh-ooh
(it takes two ooh)
Julie and Angelica were now on a cliff overlooking the Dam(snack bar) in front of them.
I didn't know until I found you(till I found you)
Havin' the time of our lives it takes two
It takes me
And you

The group was invited to spend overnight in the Northuldrian village, and the children seemed to take a liking to the snowman.
"So tell me," Olaf said to the children. "How do you guys cope with the ever-increasing complexity that comes with maturity?"
Olaf looks to see a girl with a carrot stuck in her nose.
"Brilliant!" he says "it's so refreshing to talk to the youth of today. Our future's in bright hands!"
He then turns to a child who was about to put his foot in his mouth.
"Oh! No, no, don't chew that, you don't know what I stepped in."
.
.
.
Kristoff, Odonis, and Sven were walking with Rhyder talking about Anna.
"I just can't seem to get her attention, or say the right things," Kristoff sighed.
Rhyder smiles. "Well, you're in luck! I know nothing about women, but we have the best ways of proposing!"
"Oh," Odonis said, smiling.
"And the best part, it involves a lot of Reindeer!!" Rhyder said, jumping excitedly.
.
.
.
Anna watched her boyfriend and brother leave before averting her eyes to Mattias with a cup in her hands.
"So, back at home, is Hamila still at Hudson's Hearth?" Mattias asked.
"She is," Anna said, drinking from her cup.
"Really?" he asked eagerly. "Is she married?"
Anna shook her head, causing Mattias to smile widely.
"Wow. why doesn't that make me feel better?" he asked himself.
"What else do you miss?" Anna asked.
Mattias thought for a moment.
"My father," he said. "He passed long before all this. He was a great man, built us a life in Arendelle, but he taught me to never take the good for granted. He'd say 'be prepared. Just when you think you've found your way, life will throw you onto a new path.'"
Mattias motioned to the fireplace where Elsa, Julie, Angelica, and Honeymaren were all sitting together talking to each other. Angelica was listening to Julie talk about her life in Arendelle and Angelica would listen while asking questions from time to time while Elsa and Honeymaren were talking to each other.
"And what do you do when it does?" Anna asked the Lieutenant.
"Don't give up. Take it one step at a time and..." Mattias trails off as he tries to think of the last thing.
"Just do the next right thing," Anna finished.
The two smile at each other while Mattias nudges Anna playfully.
"Yeah, you got it," he says as the two look over to the fireplace.
.
.
.
"So," Julie asked Angelica, motioning to a baby Reindeer. "Is the whole talking to animals thing a familial thing, or am I the only one who can do it?"
Angelica chuckled. "Yeah, it's a family thing, but I'm surprised that Bruni wanted to talk to you. When I first arrived here, Bruni was so distant towards me, and for the longest time, I've never known why!"
Julie chuckled quietly.
They were silent for a moment before Angelica gasped happily.
"Hey!" she said, gaining her sister's attention. "Did you know that our magic lets us change ourselves to fit in with the different elements?"
Julie's eyes widened. "Really?" she asked. Angelica nodded. "That is so cool! Have you tried it before?"
Angelica winced. "I have tried to see if I could do it with the water, but the water spirit never let me, he just kept trying to bite me!"
Julie laughed. "The spirits do not like you,"
Angelica scoffed. "Right! What did I do to them? I swear they hold the worst grudges over someone who just wanted to be nice to them!"
The two sisters laughed as they smiled at each other.
They both turned to Honeymaren and Elsa as Honeymaren started to talk.
"I have something to show you," she said to Elsa and Julie. "May I?"
Elsa nodded as Honeymaren gently grabbed the scarf.
"You know, air, fire, water, and earth, right?" she asked.
"Yes..."
"But look," she said as she pointed to the center where one more crystal rested. "There's said to be a fifth spirit that is said to be the bridge between us and the magic of nature."
"And you see that?" Angelica said, pointing at the wings outside of the five elements. "The wings were said to represent a powerful being, a witch that was said to be like some kind of peacekeeper alongside the elements."
"Some say," Honeymaren continues. "They heard both of them calling them the day the forest fell."
Julie looked at Elsa with wide eyes. "Father heard it!"
Elsa smiled. "You think that's who's calling us?" she asked Honeymaren.
Honeymaren smiles softly. "Maybe. But alas...only Ahtohallen knows."
Julie gasped softly. "Ahtohallen..."
Julie closed her eyes as she started to sing the lullaby Iduna sang to her.
Dive down deep into her sound...
But not too far or you'll be drowned.
The three other girls joined as they created a short harmony.
"Why do lullabies always have to have some terrible warning in them?" Honeymaren asked suddenly, causing the other girls to laugh.
"Right!" Angelica asked.
"I wonder that all the time," Elsa said, smiling.
The girls were in silence for a few seconds until they all felt the ground shake.
They all looked at each other cautiously.
"Earth giants," Honeymaren whispered.
"Hide!" Angelica whispered harshly.
Then without question, Angelica pulled Julie to a nearby hut where they hid while Elsa hid behind a nearby tree.
Everyone was scattering to get to safety away from the giants while trying to put everything out to make it dark enough for the giants not to see.
.
.
.
Olaf was hiding behind a rock when he spotted Bruni staring at him without a care in the world.
He chirps gently and Olaf tries to shush him before he bursts into flames. Olaf yelped as he tried to put it out but groaned as the flames only got bigger.
Olaf then grabbed Bruni in an attempt to put him out, only for him to panic as he's getting burned by Bruni's fire.
Bruni looks at him for a moment before hopping in his head and snuggling on top of him, finally putting out the fire.
Olaf sighs in relief. "This is why we don't play with fire!" he says angrily, but his expression changes when Bruni looks at him with soft eyes. "Oh, I can't stay mad at you, why are you so cute!"
.
.
.
Elsa peeks at the earth giant from behind the tree, but immediately goes back to hiding once it senses her.
It moves past the camp, but Elsa still stares at it from afar.
Elsa moves away from the tree, but not before hearing her name being called.
"Elsa!" someone whispered harshly. Elsa turned around to see Julie and Angelica staring at her.
"What are you doing?" Julie asked.
Elsa didn't answer her, instead she turned back and continued to walk towards the giants, but stopped when she felt her hand getting pulled.
She turned around to see Anna grabbing her hand.
"Elsa," Anna said harshly. "Please don't tell me you weren't about to follow them!"
Julie and Angelica walk towards the two sisters.
"Maybe I can settle them like I did the wind and fire," she tells the girls.
"Or you can get killed before you get the chance," Julie says.
"Julie's right," Angelica said. "Aside from the water spirit, the earth giants are the hardest to calm, trust me, I've tried. Trying to tame them is like a free ticket to murder valley!"
Julie hits her sister in the chest. "Okay, sis, you don't have to be that dramatic."
Angelica smiled.
"Remember," Anna says, getting all of the girls' attention. "The goal is to find the voices, find the truth, and get us home!"
Olaf then walks to the girls with Bruni in his hand.
"That was close." Olaf said.
"I know," Julie said as she held out her hand and Bruni did a happy belly flip on her palm.
"The Earth Giants sensed us," Angelica said to Elsa and Julie. "If we want to leave, we have to do it now to avoid risking anyone getting hurt."
Elsa nodded. "I agree," she said.
"Wait, we?" Julie asked her sister.
"This is a life-threatening mission," she said before taking Julie's hand in hers. "If you think I'm just going to let my sister go without me, you are severely mistaken."
Julie smiled at her before nodding.
Elsa then walked off with Angelica following behind.
Angelica turned back to see Julie and Anna looking at each other.
"You're coming?" she asked them.
Julie nodded before turning back to Anna.
"Where's Odonis, Kristoff, and Sven?" she asked.
"Oh, I think they left with that Rhyder guy and bunch of Reindeer." Olaf said.
"They left?" Anna asked as Olaf nodded. "Just...just left without saying anything?"
"Who knows the ways of men," Olaf said as he joined Elsa and Angelica.
Julie looked at Anna's worried face and put her hand on her shoulder.
"They'll be okay," Julie said reassuringly. "Kristoff knows his way around the woods."
Anna looked at her for a moment before looking over at Elsa, Angelica, and Olaf. Olaf was reaching for Elsa's hand and she took it while looking back at them.
Anna looks back at the village again before shaking her head and grabbing Julie's hand as they make their way to the others.
.
.
.
"Am I supposed to feel this ridiculous?" Kristoff asked as he stood on two rocks made to form a heart.
He was surrounded by a lot of Reindeer, most of them looking at him with wide eyes.
Odonis was looking at him, trying not to laugh.
"Oh, definitely," Rhyder answered. Odonis snickered at that response.
Kristoff nods before looking at the Reindeer. "Okay! Is everyone ready?"
Rhyder then went to a Reindeer and changed his voice to be deep and gruffy.
"Ready!"
"I could use a rehearsal!"
"I love love!"
Kristoff scoffed happily at him.
"You speak to them too?" he asked.
"I do!" Rhyder answered.
"It's like you can understand what they're saying!" Kristoff says.
"Yeah! A-and then you just say it!" Rhyder adds.
"And then you just say it," Kristoff repeats, smiling.
The trio then heard a rustling noise from afar and saw a silhouette of a woman walking towards them.
"Oh, here she comes!" Rhyder says as he and Odonis open two baskets full of butterflies.
Sven then pushes a basket full of flowers into the air, making them gracefully fall to the ground around Kristoff.
"Princess Anna of Arendelle!" Kristoff said, putting his hands on his hips. "My feisty, fearless, ginger-sweet love! Will you marry me?"
Kristoff smiled widely, but his smile immediately dropped once he saw, not Anna, but the tribe leader Yelena.
Odonis and Rhyder were in silence for a moment until Odonis just burst out laughing. He was in his laughing state for a moment before Yelena started talking.
"Uh, no," Yelena said after she recovered from her shock state. "The Princess left with Julia, Angelica, and the Queen."
Odonis' previous smile dropped as he made his way beside Kristoff.
"Wait, what?" Kristoff said, exchanging looks with Odonis.
"They left?" Odonis asked.
Yelena nodded before turning around. "I wouldn't follow. They're long gone."
"Long gone?" Kristoff repeated breathlessly.
"So, yeah," she said before she turned around. "Um, we're heading to the lichen meadows, you can come with us if you want."
With that she leaves the three men alone to join the others.
Rhyder, cringing and uncomfortable, walks towards Odonis and Kristoff.
"I can't believe it..." Odonis muttered. "They just...left."
"Without saying anything to us about it," Kristoff agreed.
"Hey, umm, I'm really sorry about that," Rhyder says, but Kristoff reassures him.
"No, it's fine," he says.
"Y-yep," Rhyder says, slightly embarrassed. "I better go pack. You two coming with?"
Odonis and Kristoff looked at each other before Odonis nodded.
"I'll come with you," he said. "I need to clear my head from all this anyways."
Rhyder smiled, relieved.
"Great!" he says before looking at Kristoff. "You too?"
Kristoff pursed his lips as he refused to meet his friend's gaze.
"I'll just...yeah, I'll meet you two there," Kristoff said.
"Are you sure?" Odonis asked.
"Okay," Rhyder says. "Uh, you know where you're going right?"
"Yeah," Kristoff smiles. "I know the woods."
Rhyder looks at Odonis one last time before leaving, leaving the two men alone.
"Are you sure you okay, Kristoff? That looked pretty brutal." Odonis admits.
Kristoff sighed. "I'm fine, Odonis, really. I just need a little time to myself."
Odonis nods before turning around and walking towards Rhyder, finally leaving Kristoff alone.

He walks to a boulder and sits on it with a slump. Sven follows him and lies down in front of him.
Reindeers are better than people, Sven, why is love so hard?
Kristoff looks at his friend confused as he starts talking in front of him.
You feel what you feel, and that feeling is real
Come on Kristoff, let down your guard
Kristoff gets up and turns to his friend before walking away from him.
Again you're gone, off on a diff'rent path than mine
I'm left behind, wondering if I should follow
Kristoff walks past a line of reindeer, who cringe at him while some of them have wide eyes.
You had to go, and of course it's always fine
I pro'lly could catch with you tomorrow
He envisions an image of Anna. she was looking away while he was admiring everything about her. He was singing alone for a moment until Sven came to join him.
Is this what it feels like to be growing apart?
When did I become the one who's always chasin' your heart?
And I turn around and find I am lost in the woods
North is south, right is left
When you're gone
Anna and Kristoff walk in the woods together before she disappears.
And I'm the one who sees you home
But now I'm lost in the woods
And I don't know what path you are on
I'm lost in the woods
Kristoff was now in a creek, jumping from rock to rock until he got to the last one.
Until now
The next step was a question of how
I never thought it was a question of whether
He begins to remember his times with Anna. From when He, Julie, and Anna met at Oaken's trading post. To when he and Anna fell off of the cliff and when Anna grazed his head affectionately. Finally when Kristoff was running to get Anna to the castle.
Who am I, if I'm not your guy
Who am I, if we're not together
Forever
Now the Reindeer was singing with him as he was caught up in his emotions.
Now I know you're my true north
Cause I am lost in the woods
Up is down, day is night, when you're not there
Kristoff stops once he sees a figure of Anna in the distance, happily, he runs to Anna and tries to hug her, only for it to be three big rocks on top of each other.
Oh, you're my only landmark
But now I'm lost in the woods
Wondering if you still care
Kristoff doesn't stop, and once he sees another silhouette of Anna, he is more determined than ever.
But I'll wait...
For a sign(for a sign)
That I'm your path
Cause you are mine(you are mine)
Until then
He then used the reindeer to help him get to her faster.
I'm lost in the woods
(lost in the woods, lost in the woods, lost in the woods)
I'm lost in the woods
(lost in the woods, lost I'm lost)
I'm lost in the woods

The group walked through an abandoned place where the sky was a dark gray and it didn't look like anything was growing there.
"Ah-ah ah-ah"
Elsa tried calling to the voice, trying to see if it'll answer to her, but it didn't.
"Ah-ah ah-ah," she called again.
Then, not even a second later, Olaf tried to do the same as Elsa, but his voice was off key and super loud.
Then Elsa called the voice again, and Olaf did the same.
Anna and Angelica winced as they were the ones right beside Olaf.
"Um, Olaf?" Anna said gently. "I think maybe one of you should do it."
Olaf nodded his head. "I agree, she's a little pitchy!"
Gale suddenly swept by Olaf, making him giggle cheerfully.
"Hey, Gale's back!" he said as Gale flew by Elsa and Julie.
Gale flew past Elsa's arm towards a torn up flag. Once Elsa, Anna, and Julie saw it, they gasped in horror.
They race to the edge to see a banged up ship that was barely hanging on.
"What is it?" Angelica asked.
"It's mother and Fathers ship..." Julie answered.
Olaf looked around confused.
"But, this isn't the southern sea," Olaf said.
"No..." Anna said breathlessly as Elsa and Julie ran down to the ship. "It isn't."
Anna, Angelica, and Olaf followed behind Elsa and Julie as they made it to the ship.
"Why is their ship here?" Julie asked as they looked at the broken ship in horror.
"How is it here?" Elsa added, tearfully.
"It must've been washed in from the Dark sea." Anna said.
"What in the world were they doing in the Dark Sea?" Julie asked, choking up.
"...I don't know." Anna admitted.
"How did the ship get through the mist?" Angelica asked.
"I don't know," Olaf admitted. "I thought nobody could but us, unless..."
Angelica looked at him. "Unless?"
"Unless nobody was on it," Olaf said, looking at Angelica, who took the information deeply to heart.
The girls look around for something...anything.
Anna turns to face the boards. "We have to keep looking around. Every Arendellian ship has a compartment, waterproof!"
"That's very clever," Olaf said. "Although it does make me wonder why they don't just make the whole ship waterproof."
Anna was feeling everything on the board until she came across a compartment with a scroll.
"Here!" She calls to the other girls and Olaf.
Anna opened the scroll and out came a rolled piece of paper with strange symbols on it.
"What language is this?" Julie asked, gently grabbing a corner of the paper.
"I don't know, but look, this is mother's handwriting." Anna showed it to the group.
Elsa grabbed the edge of the paper Julie had as Anna started to read it.
"The end of the Ice age, the river found but not lost. Magic source. Elsa's source." Anna said, looking at her sister during the last part.
Angelica looked to see something else written at the bottom.
"Hey, look, there's something else," she said as she looked at the writing.
"There's moments like this that I regret my choices made. Though this one was an exception. When Julie was 5, she had a terrible headache. At first I thought it was because she was sick, but when she got better quickly, I even saw that it was the cause of magic. I thought it was tied to Ahtohallen, since she could pronounce it correctly even at the age of 1. Just like Elsa, her magic came from something great, and I was determined to find that out no matter how long it takes." Angelica read.
"She's...she's talking about me..." Julie said.
The group was silent until Anna found something else.
"It's a map!" Anna said.
Elsa ran her fingers through the lines.
"They traveled north," she muttered. "Planned to cross the Dark Sea to..."
Julie gasped "Ahtohallan...it's real?"
"Octo-who-what?" Olaf asked.
"Ahtohallan," Angelica explained. "It's a magical river said to hold all the answers about the past."
"Reinforcing my 'water has memory' theory," Olaf said, shaking his head.
Elsa looked at her hands.
"Water has memory..." Elsa said before turning around to an open space and putting her hands on the floor.
"Elsa?" Julie said.
They watched as the water started to come out of the boards and into the space in front of them.
"I want to know what happened to them," Elsa said.
Ahtohallan has to be the source of their magic!
We keep going, for Elsa...and Julie.
Beside Julie and Angelica, another statue began to form, this time of their father.
Angelica turned to the statue and gasped in horror at what she was looking at. Julie was confused until she saw it too.
Your majesty, the water is too deep! You'll drown!
That is none of my concern, get Agnarr and Iduna to safety! Now!
But what about you!
...
If someone gets this...my dearest daughters...
Julie and Angelica were on their knees, crying at what they saw.
And so were Elsa and Anna.
The waves are too high!
Iduna!!
Agnarr!!
...
I love you, my daughters...
Forevermore...
Your majesty!!
Agnarr and Iduna's statue showed them holding each other in their last moments as the waves engulfed them.
King Josephe's was of him clutching his chest while the water surrounded him.
Elsa stood up and looked over at Julie and Angelica. Angelica had her arms around Julie as she cried in her chest.
King Josephe was on the ship with Agnarr and Iduna, and he died with the same goal that they had, to find out the truth about his daughters' magic.
Angelica looked at Elsa. Elsa gasped as she saw that her eyes were red from crying. Julie looked at her too. She refused to meet her gaze.
Elsa just shook her head and just ran out of the ship.
"Elsa!" Anna and Julie yelled as they got up and followed Elsa outside, with Angelica following behind.
Elsa ran to a boulder and just slumped over it, crying.
Julie, Anna, and Angelica caught up to her.
"Hey, what are you doing?" Julie asked.
Elsa looked at them. "How are you not mad at me? I killed your father! They were looking for me, they were finding answers about me!"
"They were finding answers about all of us, Elsa," Julie said, motioning to her, Angelica, and Elsa. "you're not responsible for their faults."
Elsa sniffed. "No, just their deaths."
Anna walked to her sister and stopped her as she tried to walk away.
"Stop, no!" she said. "Yelena asked, why would the spirits reward Arendelle with a magical Queen?"
"Our mothers," she motioned to Angelica and Julie. "And their father saved our father! They saved their enemy! Their good deeds were rewarded with you..."
She looked at Angelica and Julie again. "With all of you! You three are gifts."
"For what?" Elsa asked.
"If anyone can resolve the past. If anyone can save Arendelle and free this forest, it's you three." Anna said.
Julie and Angelica walked to Elsa and Julie grabbed her hand, smiling.
"We believe in you, Elsa," Angelica said, earning the Queen's attention. "More than anyone or anything."
Elsa smiled at her, but her smile faded once she thought of something.
She let go of Julie's hand and walked away from them.
"Honeymaren said that there's a fifth spirit, a bridge between the magic of nature and us." she said.
"Another spirit?" Anna asked.
"And a witch," Angelica said. "The peacekeeper and harmonizer for all the spirits."
"What?" Anna muttered.
"That's who's been calling us from Ahtohallan! The answers about the past are all there!" Elsa said.
Anna and Angelica looked at each other with determined faces.
"Then we'll go to Ahtohallan," Anna said with a determined smile.
Elsa and Julie looked at each other before Julie walked to Elsa's side.
"Not we," Julie said. "Just Elsa and I."
Angelica and Anna's faces dropped as they looked at their respective sister.
"Wait what?" Anna said.
"You can't be serious," Angelica gasped.
"The Dark Sea is too dangerous for us all," Julie told them.
"No! No! We do this together!" Angelica shouted.
"Remember the song? 'Go too far and you'll be drowned'" Anna shouted. "Who'll stop the two of you from going too far?"
Julie huffed.
"You said you believed in us, then this is what we were born to do." Elsa said.
"And we don't want to stop you from that!" Angelica yelled. "We don't want to stop you from being whatever you need to be!"
"We just don't want you dying, trying to be everything for everyone else too!" Anna said.
Julie gasped quietly. She heard this talk before.
"Let us help you...please." Anna whispered.
Angelica sighed.
"Please, Julie," she said. "I just got you back. I don't want to lose you again."
Elsa and Julie looked at each other before hugging their sisters tightly.
"We don't want to lose you either," Elsa sighed.
Julie looked at Olaf and motioned for him to join in as well, and he happily obliged.
Anna and Angelica were comfortable in the hug for a moment until they felt something form under their feet.
"What the-"
The two and Olaf looked down to see Elsa making a boat, she pulled Julie back and stomped her foot so that the boat could go back and slide away from them.
"Elsa! Julie!"
Elsa and Julie looked at their sisters somberly as they slid away from view.
