•Elsa's POV•

   "Did you hear what happened to Kate?"

  "I heard she said something to Prince Jack to make her get kicked out."

  "Yeah, she told me to watch what you say around him."

  "But she was the only one to have two dates with him."

  I frown, looking at my breakfast so no one would notice my facial expression. Why did Jack like her enough to give her two dates? Did he kiss her? I shake my head. Stop, Elsa. He has a right to do whatever he wants. You have nothing on him. You don't own him. He is not yours.

Not yet, anyway.

   She was? Apparently she didn't tell anyone about it. Besides her, I was the only one to see the Prince in private twice. Even if no one knew about the first. I wonder what she said.

     After lunch in the Women's Room, I head up to my room to get changed for the Report. We were all required to watch it, but we would actually be interviewed next week.

      As I head up to my room, I hear laughing in Kaya's room. She comes out...with Jack. She narrows her eyes at me and Jack widens his eyes in surprise. I curtsy.

   "Your Majesty," I say, and continue on my way.

    I can feel Jack's eyes on me as I head behind my door. I nearly scream as Hiccup kisses me. I quickly pull him off me.

"What are you doing?" I demand, my face turning red. He can't just do that. Someone could see us. It could get us both killed.

He shakes his head. "Just wanted to, I guess."

  "What about Leyna?!" He shrugs.

"I broke up with her the day you entered. I want you, and only you."

  My heart skips a beat. No! Elsa, no.

"You hurt me. I'm not forgiving you." 

  "You have to let it go at some point, El. It was a long time ago, and I know I did hurt you. But I'm trying to make it up to you. Can't you see that?"

I nod. "Yes, but-" His lips collide with mine and after a few seconds I give in, wrapping my arms around his.

   We shouldn't be doing this. We could both be killed for treason. If we got caught...the door opens and Hiccup leans me down to where it looks like I fell and he caught me. It's my maids.

  "Ladies, she was complaining about her head, then she fainted. Would you please go get her medicine?"

  Leah nods and quickly dashes away, while Hiccup, Maddox, and Leuh carry me to my bed.

"I'll let the prince know you won't be coming for dinner." Leuh says.

Maddox bows at Hiccup. "Thank you for helping her, officer. If you hadn't been here to have caught her, there's no telling what would have happened!"

"If there's anything else I can do, let me know. Be careful, Lady Elsa."

He bows and leaves. Jack comes awhile later to comfort me.

  "How are you?" I shake my head. "Hurts."

And it does. I've been so stressed over the kiss that it made my head spin. Jack kisses my cheek and says,"Night, snowflake."

   Jack kisses my cheek. "I'm sorry I did that. Do you need some more medication before you go to sleep?"

I shake my head. "I don't want you to go through any trouble for me."

"El, I would do anything for you. I'll go get you some meds."

He comes back awhile later with a pill and a glass of water. He puts the pill in my mouth for me. Ugh, don't look at me like that. He insisted. Well, maybe I implied it. Don't judge me!

  I sip the water as he watches me intently. I raise an eyebrow. "What?"

"You look different. A good different. You look...happy."

"I am happy. Happy this headache is finally starting to go away." He chuckles.

"Nothing else to be happy about?"

"Hm....the food is pretty great, too." I laugh. He frowns. Oh. I guess he wanted a different answer.

  Oh...can't he see that I'm happy because of him?

"Oh, Jack. I'm happy because of you. Just you letting me stay here makes me happy. You being here now makes me happy." He looks up, his cheeks flushing, his eyes shining with hope.

  "Really?"

  "Really."

   He leans in slowly. I stop him before he can press his lips to mine. "Wait."

  "What is it? Are you not ready? I can wait for you."

  "Oh, no. I'm ready. I want to know if you've been smooching with anyone else."

  He laughs. "Is that what you're worried about? I want you as my first kiss, no one else. I want you."

  I smile and this time I lean in. He notices and quickly closes the gap. He tastes of mints and pine. I can feel him smirk as the kiss deepens, and soon he breaks away.

    His chest is heaving, gasping for breath. He bites his lip. "God, was that your first kiss?"

  Oh, God. My breath. My kissing was so bad. "Yeah." I blush, looking down. I didn't want him to know that I had kissed a man, plenty, plenty times.

"Hey, that was great. You're a really good kisser." He leans in and whispers,"I can't wait to see how you are in the bed."

"Jack!" I smack his arm playfully as he laughs. He kisses me one last time. "Night, snowflake."
