The packs had gathered. Tyler was explaining the rules of the challenge and how to won. First no weapons were allowed. Your individual strength was the only way that you were allowed to win. No transforming and no rule breaking or you would be disqualified.

"You must stay in you wolf form until the end of the challenge. The one pinned for more than ten seconds will lose. Winner will get the title of future Alpha." Tyler shouts loud and clear. Reality and Dean were on opposite sides of the grounds with a circle of viewers around them. Tyler in the middle explaining the rules. Ethan was on the sidelines watching with grief.

"Please," Ethan cried as he looked at Tyler with a plead in his eyes.

Tyler looks at him before looking away and shook his head no. Before saying "the battle will begin in 3!"

"You're so going down!" Reality says as she got ready

"2!"

"Reality I love you. But this isn't the right way to be alpha" he says as he got ready. He was already thinking of a plan

"1! Fight!" Tyler says before moving out of the wayEthan had to resist the erge to sprint and stop his children from fighting. His tear stained face was shining through.

Reality was fast to race towards Dean but Dean was faster. He waited as Reality charged at him before hoping over her sending her charging into the crowd. Dean turned quick to attack Reality and pin her hindquarters to the ground. Reality turn her head and snapped her jaws at Dean's face.Reality struggled under him as Tyler began to count.

Reality was finally able to kicks dean off after 8 seconds. Dean scurried backwards to create some distance. '8 seconds. I need to hold her back legs down so she she wouldn't be able to kick me off. ' Sean thought as he and reality circle each other. Reality snapped her jaws as a threat but Dean was terrified as he thought he would be. Dean shushed Reality gently as she snarled at him reared back her lips to expose her canines.

"Reality this isn't the way," Reality leaped as Dean was talking. He was ready before so he turned on his back and used his back legs to propel Reality away. She landed harshly on her side as she slid.Dean quickly rushed over and held her down "I'm sorry." He whispered he spread her back paws apart and held them down with his own back paw as his front held her down .

Tyler began to count and reality struggled and struggled trying get out from under him but couldn't.

"Ten! Dean won the match of being the future alpha of my pack!" Tyler announced.Others began to howl and cheer but Dean just backed away. He bowed his head respectfully as he puffed out his chest.

"You did well Reality," Dean complimented but Reality just snarled as she stalked away. Dean bowed his head in sadness but his sibling prance over, pride clear in their tone.

"Dean you were amazing," Jean stated as she licked his cheek.

"Good going little brother," Fanstasy chuckled as he gave him a nudge.

"Should we start calling you Alpha now," Clarity teased. Dean laughed before nudging his siblings aside.

"I want to check on Reality." Dean stated before nudging past his siblings to go find his sister.Dean quickly traced where Reality was. She was at the small pound the pups and kits found when they went to the river side with mark and jack.

Reality was crying in her human for upset. "Reality" dean says gently as he turns human and sat down next to her.Reality turned and snarled, her teeth bared. Dean stopped before pushing his ears back in surrender.

"I'm not here to mock you," Dean said quietly. Reality softened her gaze a bit before she turned her head.

"Go away," Reality growled."reality come on." Dean says softly "talk to me like you used to."

Reality was quiet for a moment before speaking, "I wanted to be alpha do bad. It's where you the all time power everyone else. You don't have to be pushed around all the times. You're in control. No one can go against you unless they have a death wish."Dean smiled a bit before he padded over and pulled his big sister in his arms and hugged her.

"Being Alpha is not being in charge. It's about leading your pack to keep them safe." Dean whispered as he hugged her close.
Reality lays in his arms listening.

"An alpha is like a leader. Being able to think of what you do and situation instead of acting with you feelings. Fighting isn't always the choice. And sometimes you have to fight cause everything else ran out of choices. " He explains as he held her close.

"Then how come dad had to fight?" She asked looking up at him.

"He had to fight cause when he tried to reason with the she wolf. She would try to and hurt mama or us. Along with others." He says as he frowns "she was power hungry. That what dad said."

Reality cried in his arms as he pulled her to her feet and lead her home. Ethan was the first to spot them, sprinting in their direction.

"Babies," Ethan practically leaped at them, licking at their hands and faces.

"Its okay mama, we're okay."
Ethan quickly turns human and picks them both up and held them close. "Now both will you behave?" He asked kissing their cheeks .

Dean nods as he hugged him. "Yes mama" reality says as she hugged him as well. "You better," Ethan warned as he kissed their cheeks. Dean pushed Reality playfully before pulling away from their mama.

"Daddy will have you head if you don't," Dean teased as he narrowed his eyes playfully. Reality stuck her tongue out her running toward their siblings with her head high once more."is daddy mad?" Dean asked Ethan.

Ethan sighs. "No. He's just disappointed with Reality. And reflecting on his choices he made. He thinks it's his fault that Reality is like that" Ethan explains setting him down

Dean nodded before giving his momma a but kiss on the cheek. He always was a big mamas boy.

"I live you mommy. Please let Daddy know that shes okay now." Dean kissed his cheek once more before running in the direction of Reality and the other. Ethan shook his head wonder how he was lucky enough to have such a great boy. Ethan bit his finger before running over to where he knew Tyler would be. He quickly ran and jumped on Tyler, wrapping his legs around his waist. He kissed him deeply, his heart thumping in his chest.

"Baby I want more," Ethan whined."more of what?" He asked confused as he held him in his lap looking into his eyes kissing his cheek."Puppies baby, puppies." Ethan kissed Tyler's lips lovingly before hugging him closer.

"Please," Ethan pleaded as he kissed Tyler's neck. Tyler growled before pulling Ethan away.

"Not now," Tyler insisted.

"but!" Ethan was about to protest.

"Ethan" Tyler says sternly. "Not. Now. I'm not saying we not ever going to have more pups but we are not having some now as there is a lot going on."

Ethan whined as he wrapped his legs tighter. His tears building up in his eyes.

"But you wanted them yesterday," Ethan whimpered. His eyes stinging at their wake. Jack was already expecting and Ethan suspected that he wanted that same feeling again. That feeling of puppies squirming inside him, or the feeling of carrying suck prizes.

"Tyler... I..."

"I know" Tyler says as he rested his forehead against his "I think about it. Alright?"

Ethan nodded before he tucked his head into the nape of Tyler's neck. His breathing was rough and patchy. The tears in his eyes not leaving as they hussled down his face.Tyler whimpers at him as he held him close and rubbed his head "please don't cry my dear"Ethan unwrapped his legs from Tyler's waist before hoping to the ground. He wiped at his eyes but the tears never stopped.

"I-It's fine," Ethan whimpered as he stalked toward the cabin. Tyler sighs as he rubbed his head "what to do." He says
