Irina's POV

"Aiden! Aiden!" I call out. 

Looking around the yard, I only see a few people, but no Aiden. Turning around, I see a tall figure, and let out a small scream with a jump.

"Looking for me?" Adien asks with a smile.

"Don't do that! Geez! What's your problem? God I miss my taser."

"A taser?"

"It's a long story, but your brother destroyed it."

Adien laughs, making me look at him in a strange way. I never heard Aiden laugh out with such a joy. The wind blows and Aiden's laugh slows. He looks at me and raises and eyebrow. "What?"

"Never heard you laugh like that," I say shrugging my shoulders. "Did something good happen?"

"Something did. Someone just surprised me is all. Anyways, why did you call? Expecting baby names for the girl your carrying?"

Now I laugh. "No. I'm having a boy."

"A boy?"

"I can feel it. But, that's not what I wanted. I want you to train me. The right way. Vivian was right. I can't just allow people to protect me all the time. It's time I get trained, as a proper werewolf."

Aiden stops smiling and looks at me with a serious face. His face then softens, and he chuckles. "I guess two people have surprised me for the day. Who would've thought. Okay, I'll take you up on that. Why don't we get started."

Ezra's POV  

Looking out the window, I see Irina training with Aiden and frown. The fact that Aiden is back bothers me. He's never around without a reason. I just have to find out what that reason is, beat him to it, and then he'll leave.

Hearing a knock on my study door, I turn from the window and look to the door. "Come in." Turning back to the windown, I watch as Aiden blocks Irina's punch.

"Watching her from afar huh?" She says closing the door behind her.

"And what about you Vivian? Came back to mend my brother's broken heart?" Turning around, I meet her eyes, which are full of regret. "What is the real reason for you returning?"

Vivian walks to a chair across from me and plops down. "I heard some human was pregnant with your baby. Had to come see for myself. Finding out she's a werewolf is a bonus. You tried to keep it a secret, but a lot of people know, and they want that baby."

"Well they won't get it. And you can go back to the hole you crawled out of and let them know that," I growl.

Vivian smiles. "Always thinking I'm running with someone huh?"

"Shady vampires don't change."

"Well I did! That's why I came back," she says bolting out of her seat.

"I don't believe you, and I won't let you break his heart again."

"Ezra, you can't stop us from being together. I love him!"

"Love? What do you know of love after what you've done. Have you even told him yet?"

Vivian's face goes blank, as her skin tone turns white as if she's seen someone haunting her for years. Her face look as if she's recalling that night.

A smile comes across my lips. "Ahhh, so you haven't. Such a sneaky woman. Perhaps I should-."

"No!" She shouts stopping me from finishing my sentence. "You have no right to go there."

"I have just about ever right! You didn't see how he was after you left. You didnt hear him cry every day, see him draining the life out of people just to get his mind off of you, or watch him ready to end his life constantly! As a matter of fact, before you finish whatever business you have here, you're going to tell him, or I will make it my top priority to tell him about that night."

Vivian marches towards the door, tears rolling down her cheeks. My eyes blink twice, making sure these tears are real, because I've only known her to cry two times and no more.

Irina's POV

"I regret asking you to train me now," I say, laying out on the grass breathing heavily. Trying to roll over and get up, I feel all my energy leave and I lay back out on the grass. I turn my head to the short grass and watch as a ladybug flys down on the vibrant green grass.

"You actually did better than I thought you would," Aiden says.

"Yeah well, I'm not completely hopeless," I smile. The ladybug takes off, making me turn my attention to the sunny sky.

Slowly sitting up, I look at Aiden fondling with getting his shirt back  on and frown. "How is your relationship with Ezra? Are you two close?"

Aiden stops with his shirt, starts back, and says, "Not really."

I frown. "Why come and visit him then?"

"I came here for you, Irina," he says finally putting his shirt on. "I came here to make sure that baby doesn't come to any harm. Our family line ends with us. We cannot have children. Your child is our first new generation in hundreds of years. To see this is, basically a miracle."

"Wow. I didn't know it was that deep. But, what happened between the two of you? If you don't mind me asking."

"Ezra can sometimes be a monster. He does what he thinks is best for you, and doesn't ask what the person wants. But, he's also family. We never turn our back on family. No matter how much of a monster he can be."

Gaining a new form of respect for Aiden, I look back into the sky, thinking of the word "family".

Wandering around, I look at the full moon, and rub my stomach, thinking of names for the baby. The wind blows softly, blowing my hair in crazy directions. Smiling, at the thought of one of the names, I take a deep breath and sigh.

Hearing a bush rustle by me, I notice Ezra standing in sight. I place my hand on my chest. "Ezra, you scared me a little."

He appears in front of me with a small gift. "Something for you," he smiles.

I look at him with an eyebrow raised. His face is nicely shaved, and his white T-Shirt and blue jeans easily make him look more presentable. Taking the gift, I slowly unwrap it, and smile with what I see.

"Really now? I don't know what to say," I giggle. Lifting the taser out of the box, I laugh and sit the box down on the grass. "Finally feeling guilty about my first taser huh?"

"Well I heard you mention one so I brought myself to buy one for you. As long as you promise not to use it on me," he smiles.

"Maybe," I laugh. Putting it in my pocket, I rub my stomach a little.

Ezra's smile soon fades as he looks directly at my stomach. I notice his hand reach out, and then back in.

"Do you, want to touch my stomach?" I ask.

Ezra nods his head, reaches his arm out, and touches my stomach. The moment he does, I feel a kick. My eyes light up.

"Did you feel that? The baby kicked!"

"I did," he smiles. "Hello my little one." I smile at him as he rubs my stomach as this is the first time he ever did.

Watching his smile grow, I suddenly start to think about what's best for the baby. Getting ready to open my mouth, someone appears behind Ezra, snaps his neck, and allows his body to fall. Looking at the face behind him, I become mortified.

My eyes widen as I scream. "Noah, what the hell do you think you're doing?"

Going to attack him, he dodges my attack. "I'm doing this for your own good. Amelia, now!"

Amelia comes from my right, chanting something that sounds familiar. Amelia's facial expression is dry, as if she wasn't feeling anything.

"Amelia? You're in on this? You helped him kill Ezra?"

"He's not dead. He's a vampire and a werewolf. He'll only be out for about thirty minutes or so." Amelia snaps her fingers, and my world goes black.

Noah's POV

"Thank you," I tell Amelia, catching Irina's body once she passed out. Amelia looks at Irina's body and drops a tear. "Just make sure she stays safe. After she comes, the witches are done helping you any further with this."

Nodding my head, I carry Irina bridal style and carry her into the night.

"Don't worry, I got you."

Ezra's POV

Coming to, I growl loud enough to make my whole pack hear. "No! Irina!"

"Where is she brother?" Aiden says coming to my side as I stand.

"They took her! They took her!"

"You allowed them to take her? You, who destroys all? How!"

"They got the best of me okay! I, I felt the baby kick for the first time Aiden," I pause thinking of the moment. Anger consumes that moment of joy in a matter of seconds as I say, "And they took her!"

"Then we will find her, and we do, we will murder them all," Aiden says with anger coursing through every word.

Irina's POV

Stirring in my sleep, I start to recall the recent events. Remembering Ezra's neck being snapped, I bolt up. Feeling a matress under me, I leap out of the bed, running to what appears like an old metal gate, but I instantly feel a hold on me. Looking down, I see a metal chain. Pulling it, the chain doesn't budge. Yanking it continuously, I grow irritated and throw the chain down.Looking around, I notice I'm in what appears to be a cave.

"Noah! Got damn it Noah where are you!" I shout.

Noah appears before me, turning his head to the floor with his hands in his pants. Feeling anger consuming me, I rush to attack him, but the chain pulls my leg.

"Why are you doing this?"

"Irina, I tried to reason with you. I tried to help you. This is the only way I can do this. You're to dangerous."

"I'm a pregnant lady in a chain Noah! How dangerous can I be?"

"That thing in you has vampires all rattled up! My people think that I was starting to look bad as a leader. I will always protect the vampires."

"What about all of the things you ever said to me? Huh?" Waving my hands in the air, I started to feel the tears in my eyes.

"Why am I hear Noah?" I cry.

Noah becomes silent, hesitating on his words. "Why am I hear?" I shout.

"I'm flying someone here to kill your baby without harming you. Once she's finished, we'll let you go." Noah turns around walking away, and my eyes go wide as I register his words. My heart falls into my stomach with the feeling of a need to vomit on my tongue. My chest rises and falls hard, tears pouring out of my eyes.

"Noah! Noah you can't do this! Please! Please don't kill my baby! Noah! Noah!"
