After the "meeting", Mr. Burr dismissed us and i finally got to leave that hell hole. I got up, and that girl wearing the purple hoodie was already heading up the stairs toward the door. I tried jogging up to her, but she was already gone.

Damn she is a fast walker for a girl who is short. (Me)

I panted, and took out my phone and earbuds.

Time to drown out the world and replace it with music.

I open my music, and hit shuffle. I pop in my ear buds and start making my way (downtown-) to home.

Fine, were damaged.

Really damaged.

But that does not make us wise

Were not special, were not different. We don't chose who lives or dies.

I often like to sing along while i walk...

Lets be normal, see bad movies, sneak a beer and watch tv.

We'll bake brownies, or go bowling.

Don't you want a life with me?

Can't we be seventeen?

That's all i want to do...

Yeah, why can't they just be seventeen? Fuckin' JD is only in highschool and already killed off like 3 people...

The song continues on, and i sing along while walking.

Then i see a figure sitting along the sidewalk on the other side. I squint, and hesitantly walk over there. Sounds dumb doing that, but im bored and need some action in my life, so ima take the chance. (Every rebel teen ever-)  I get toward them, and they look familiar...

I silently take out mybear buds and turn off the music. They seem to be hunched over, and have their hands over their face.

"Are you ok?" I ask.

They snap their head up and i immediately recognize this person.

"Oh shit! Your that dude! Alexander right?"

"Um... Yeah." He wipes his eyes and a slight blush appears on his cheeks.

"Why are you here?" He asks me.

"I was just walking, and i saw you and got curious... So yeah." I shifted my foot around, and kicked a tiny pebble.

"Well thanks for caring a little i guess." He got up and brushed off his pants.

"Wanna walk with me? I need company..." He offerd.

"Sure." I shrugged and hopped onto the side walk joining him.

"Lez go."
