Our heroes were now in walking on the trail when the saw the next town, Rishin Town

May then took a deep breath

May:(sigh) ahhh that smells great

Max: what smells great the air pollution, the garbage or the car exhaust

May:...

Jacob: well this just went south

Jaraja: agreed

May: Not that, Im talking about the wonderful scent of the big city

Jacob: I've seen bigger, though it has been awhile since the last time I went to a city, lets go check it out

Timeskip

The team was now in rishin town

Jacob: here we are guys, rishin town

May: like they say that You Can Take The Girl Out Of The City, But You Can't Take The City Out Of The Girl, now where should we start, hmm maybe a little window shopping fallow up with dinner at a nice restaurant and then let's see...

Jacob: well I wouldn't go that far may, but I guess we could use some supplies for our journey

Brock: alright let's check out the town map

May: I didn't know you had that, quick let's go

Max: you know I bet if we look really hard we could find some cool city type pokemon

Jacob: I'm down with that

Max: then I guess I'll go with you then

Jacob: fine by me

Sabrina: I'll come with you

Jacob: okay, well I guess we're go look for pokemon now, see ya

Jacob's group then left

Small timeskip

Jacob's group were now walking around looking for pokemon

Max: according to my research, city pokemon like to hide in alleyways so they won't be spotted

Jacob: interesting, you seem to know a lot about pokemon

Max: yeah, I spend a lot of time researching about them

Jacob: I see, well have you ever thought about catching one

Max: oh...I can't

Jacob: Why not?

Max: I don't really have any pokeballs and my parents think that I'm too young to have one

Jacob: what, that's ridiculous, your capable of having one

Max: I know, I tell people that, but they keep bringing up that fact that i'm too young

Jacob: ahh don't listen to those people max, they don't know any better

Max: I see, say how old were you when you got your first pokemon

Jacob: I was 5 millions years old

Max: 5 million! Wow you've been around for that long

Jacob: yep, and my first pokemon was bluey and he's been with be ever since

Max: I see, say jacob, do you really think you can help may with pokemon

Jacob: well I'll be honest with you max, It might be hard, but I'm still gonna do it,

Max: I see, say jacob, can you also help me catch pokemon

Jacob: sure max

Max: alright, thanks

Jacob: no problem

Just then jaraja came out

Jaraja: hey jacob, I've been hearing rumors about some haunted mansion in this town

Jacob: haunted mansion huh? It's probably just some ghost type playing tricks

Jaraja: maybe, whatever it is it caused a bunch of demolition workers to quit

Jacob: hmm interesting

Max: you think we should check it out

Jacob: maybe, we should probably wait for the others first and then we'll discuss it

Just then they heard something in an alleyway, they turned towards it as they saw a shroomish

Max: look it's a shroomish

Jacob: yeah, but what's it doing here, shroomishes aren't supposed to be in cities

Max: maybe this can be my first pokemon

Jacob: hold on there max, this shroomish doesn't look very happy

Max: oh yeah, maybe it's hungry

Jacob: it could be

Jacob then pulled out some berries and gave them to max

Jacob: here, try feeding it the berries

Max: okay

Max walked towards the shroomish and held the berries in front of it, the shroomish got suspicious as it let out a stun spore attack

Max: woah

Jacob pulled him back just in time

Jacob: you okay max

Max: yeah I'm fine

Jacob: hmm I think this shroomish is nervous, let me try

Jacob walked towards the shroomish

Jacob: hey little guy, don't worry we're not gonna hurt you, look this food is perfectly safe

Jacob then picked up one of the berries and ate it

Jacob: see, it's safe

The shroomish then slowly walked up and tried the berries, he then smiled as he ate them

Jacob: alright it worked, he was just nervous

Max: I see, but what's it doing here

Jacob: I don't know, but we probably shouldn't leave it here, we should probably hold on to it

Max: okay

Max then pulled out a handkerchief

Jacob: what are you doing with a handkerchief

Max: it's a present

Jacob: huh

Max then tied the handkerchief around shroomish

Max: there all done, you look great

Jacob: huh, not bad

Max: do you like it shroomish?

Shroomish jumped up and down in joy

Jacob: I guess he likes it

Max: yeah, and you and I are buddies right shroomish

Shroomish smiled as he nodded

Jacob: I guess he is, alright now, let's go find the others

Max then picked up shroomish as they began to look for the others

Timeskip

The group was walking around when they stumbled upon this abandoned mansion

The green lodge

Jacob; hey just this place out

Max: the garden is as big as a whole forest

Jaraja: I think this is the mansion people were talking about, I think they called it the green lodge

They then noticed that shroomish was staring intently at it.

Max: huh, what's the matter shroomish

Jacob: something tells me that it has something to do with this mansion

Suddenly shroomish jumped off of max and ran towards

Max: huh, where are you going shroomish

Jacob: let's follow it, maybe we find out why it's upset

Max: okay

The group began to follow it

Small Timeskip

The shroomish lead the group into a broken window which shroomish immediately went into the mansion

Jacob: he went into the mansion

May: hey guys

Jacob's group turned around and saw the others

Jacob: guys, what are you doing here, I thought you were out buying stuff?

May: we were but then we heard about this haunted mansion we decided to check it out

Brock: more like you wanted to check it out

???: hey you guys

The team turned and saw this guy

Alex

Alex: no one is supposed to be here, didn't you see the signs, they're cutting down all of the trees in this garden so it's much too dangerous for anyone to be here

Jacob: I see, sorry, we didn't mean to cause trouble

Max: it's just that a shroomish we found ran in here and we followed it

Alex: Did you say shroomish?

Jacob: Yeah, why?

Alex: sorry but that's impossible

Jacob: uhh no it's not it was a shroomish for sure

Max: we even fed its

Alex: but that makes no sense, there hasn't been a shroomish in this town in ages

May: well that's pretty weird

Jacob: agree

Brock: you mean there used to be shroomish here

Alex: yep, when I was a little kid, there were a lot of them around of town, I used to love shroomish, you see this mansion here belonged to my grandfather and when I was little, I used to come here often and play with the shroomish all day long, but as the town got bigger and bigger, the forest slowly disappeared, eventually my grandfather passed away and soon after that, all of the shroomish disappeared too, the town council decided that the mansion should be destroyed in order to make room for more buildings but once the demolition began, these strange incidents started to occur, I just came by today to check things out

Brock: that's quite a story

May: when you say strange things do you mean ghost, ghouls, scary footprints and things like that

Jacob: Why do you make it sound like it's a good thing?

Alex: well those are only rumors, anyway are boys sure that saw a shroomish going inside the mansion

Jacob: yep

Alex; well if that's the case then I'll just have to go inside and find out

Jacob: we'll go with you as well

Small timeskip

Our heroes and Alex were now inside the mansion

May: oh wow, this is so exciting

Jaraja:(sarcastically) oh yeah, being inside a haunted mansion that will soon be destroyed is just great

Max: hey shroomish, come out shroomish

Jacob: shroomish, where are you?

Alex: no sign of it in this part of the house, I guess we'll just have to look further inside

Jacob: huh

Jacob then noticed that brock as nervously shaking

Jacob: Brock, are you okay?

Brock:(scared) oh yeah, I'm just not a big fan of haunted mansion, or anything haunted at all

Jacob: calm down brock, they're just rumors, i'm sure it's nothing

Jacob then opened a door that lead to another room, they then saw shroomish shivering by an old fireplace

Jacob: there he is

Max: shroomish we found you

Alex: you were right, there is a shroomish

Jacob and max then noticed something about shroomish

Jacob: Hey, why is Shroomish shaking?

Max: what's wrong shroomish

Just then two more appeared

Jacob: what the...where did those two come from?

Max: you think there's more

Jacob: there might be

Brock: you know, shroomish are supposed to live in the forest right

Alex: yes but as more and more of the forest was cut down I guess they took refuge here

May: but now the mansion is gonna be torn down too, where will they go?

Jacob: I guess that's why their scared, they're about to lose their home

Alex then turned and saw and saw something

Alex: well look at that?

The team turned and saw a picture of Alex and his grandfather

Max: Hey is that you with your grandfather when you were little?

Alex: yes it is

Jacob: wow, it looks like you and shroomish had a close bond

Alex: indeed we did

Just then, they began to heard a bunch of footsteps

Jacob: uhh do you guess hear that

Suddenly they saw a massive herd of shroomishes coming towards them

Jacob: holy crap, that's a lot of shroomishes

The shroomishes began to launch a massive stun spore cloud

Jacob: it's stun spore, quick everyone out!

They all began to run out, as they were leaving, max and Alex tripped

Jacob: guys!

Jacob ran towards them

May: Jacob, what are you doing?

Jacob: don't worry about me, just go, I'll get the others

May listened as she ran outside and closed the door

Brock: May, where's Jacob, Max and alex?

May: they're still inside, Jacob told me to go ahead

The team: WHAT!

Inside the mansion

The mansion was now filled with stun spore

Jacob: I gotta get rid of the stun spore, whirlwind

Jacob summoned his wings as he began to flap them which created a strong gust that got rid of the stun spore, he then saw max and alex laying on the ground paralyzed

Jacob: guys!

Jacob ran towards them as he began to cure them from the stun spore, once he cured them they slowly got back up

Jacob: Guys, are you okay?

Max: yeah, we're fine

Alex: Where are the others?

Jacob: they're outside, it's just the three of us inside here

Just then the shroomishes surrounded them

Jacob: nevermind

Alex: I can't believe how many shroomish are in here

Jacob and max then noticed that most of the shroomish were groaning as if they were in pain

Jacob: Wait a minute, uhh hello there fellow shroomish, are you guys okay?

Shroomish: no, we're not

Jacob: why

Shroomish: cause we're gonna lose our home

Jacob: I see, say do you guy remember him

Jacob pointed at alex

Shroomish: I remember him, we use to hang out with him and his grandfather '

Jacob: I see, alex, they remember you

Alex: They do?

Jacob: Yes, so why were you guys trying to attack us?

Shroomish: we thought you were those workers who are trying to destroy our home, we didn't know

Jacob: I see, but it looks like you got something else on your mind

Shroomish: I do, we all do, we missed him

Jacob: alex?

Shroomish: yeah, ever since his grandfather passed away he stopped visiting us, we stayed here and hope that he would returned and hang out with us like old times, once we heard about how they were gonna demolish this mansion, we did everything we can to prevent it from happening

Jacob: so you guys are the reason why workers have quit

Shroomish: yes, we never meant to harm anyone, we just didn't want to lose our home, we already thought we lost alex, if we lose this home then we'll have nothing, we just want to be with alex again

Jacob: I see

Max: what are they saying jacob

Jacob: they're saying that they miss you alex, they've been waiting here all this time in hope that you would return and that you would hang out with them again

Alex: I would like that too

Alex then walked up to the shroomish

Alex; I'm sorry that I stop visiting you guys, I thought that you left or something, if I knew that you were still here, I would have come back and stayed with you, I hope you guys can forgive me

The shroomish looked at each other and then smiled

Shroomish: we forgive you alex, as long as we can be together once again

Jacob: alex, they said that they forgive you

Alex: thank you guys, but unfortunately this mansion will still have to go, I know that you guys love this place, but it's too old and dangerous to live in

The shroomish then became said

Jacob: say, maybe you can build a home for them

Alex; what do you mean?

Jacob: Well this place was once a forest right?

Alex: yeah

Jacob: well maybe we can bring it back, we get rid of the mansion and then replant the entire area with trees so it will be like the forest they once had

The shroomish liked that idea

Shroomish: I like that idea

Shroomish 2: agree

Shroomish 3: I go with the forest as well

Jacob: they all seem to like it alex

Alex: You really think it will work?

Jacob: of course, these guys need a home and I can't sit around while these guys lose their only home, so what do you say

Alex: well, if the shroomish like the idea, then so do I

All of the shroomishes cheered

Shroomish: thank you

Timeskip

The boys and all of the shroomishes were outside of the mansion

Jacob: alright guys, time to build your new home, first we get rid of the old one, frenzy plant

The attack was able to destroy the entire mansion

Jacob: now we plant your new one, watch this

Jacob body began to glow light green as he placed his hands on the ground

Jacob: overgrowth!

Jacob then sent the energy to the ground as a bunch of trees began to come out of the ground, after a few minutes, the entire area became filled with trees

Jacob: there you go, welcome to your new home

All of the shroomish cheered

Alex: I don't believe it, thank you so much

Jacob: no problem pal

Just then, the shroomish that befriend max went up to him

Jacob: hey max, I think shroomish wants to join you

Max: really, you want to join me shroomish

Shroomish nodded

Max: well as much as I want you to, I don't have a pokeball to catch to with

Jacob: you do now

Max: huh?

Jacob pulled out a regular pokeball and handed it to max

Jacob: here you go max, enjoy your very first pokemon

Max: really! Thanks!

Max the threw the pokeball and successfully caught shroomish

Max: alright I caught my very first pokemon, thank you jacob

Jacob: no problem max, well we best be heading off now, nice seeing you alex

Alex: same here, thanks for helping me

Jacob and his team waved goodbye as the went off to continue their journey
