-2006-

     It was beautiful in Los Angeles, C.A. The sun was out and shining, the air was moving breezy, and the food vendors were all getting into position and making sure their stuff were good for their biggies customers to come out, those being kindergarten kids.  The bell rings and the roar of young, energetic, and finally 'free' kindergarten kids burst out of the front of the school and going to the food vendors that are standing there or going to their waiting mom or dad who came to pick them up. As the kids are coming out of school happily, there is one in particular who looks sad than the other kids.

A caucasian girl who looks around the age of 9, who has dark brown hair, and wearing what looks to be a school uniform...

... As the sad girl is making her way out of the school, she can't stop thinking about the incident that made her sad today.

*Early in the morning*

               Is early in the morning in a very expensive modern home...

... Inside the home, we have a very tight net and clean house...

... As we move out from the living room and stare, we see a very nice-looking kitchen...

... And in this kitchen, we see a woman in her late 30s cooking some eggs and some hashbrowns on the kitchen stove. As the woman cooks we see a girl who looks to be the girl from later in the day sitting on a high chill which is forcing right in of the wood counter, while eating what looks to be her breakfast which possibly woman cooked for the girl. As the girl is eating her breakfast, she doesn't notice a figure who is quietly sneaking behind her, before the girl can notice the figure, the figure wraps their arms around the girl and gives them a big kiss on the cheek.

The girl was spooked at first but then she realized  who's the figure who's giving her the kisses on the cheek was her father, who had just woken up from his sleep. The kisses from the father last for a couple of while before the girl has enough of it.

The girl: *muffle* "Dad stop!"

The muffle girl tells her dad to stop, but the response only she gets from him is the sound of kisses.

The girl: "Dad... stop... please" said the girl to her dad again.

Before the kisses can continue a female voice comes in to rescue the girl from her father.

"James, honey. Can't you let Lexus go before you kill her with all those kisses that you are giving her?"

James opens his eye which he had closed, and stares at his wife who has her back from him and is facing the stove.

Jame: "Okay honey"

James complies to hear his wife order but not before giving one last kiss to Lexus' cheek. This last kiss from James causes Lexus to start giggling her lungs out, James sees this and always finds it heartwarming that whenever he gives his daughter kisses on her cheeks, she may find it annoying but in actuality, she loves it when he does that. It makes her feel special in his eyes.

James: "So since I can't kiss my daughter. Then I'll kiss the second-best thing in my life"

James wife's: Ooh, who may that be~"

James: "You!"

James wife's: "Ahh!"

James' wife is supplied as her husband who turns her around, taking her focus away from the cooking and kissing her lip. As the two kiss the sound of moaning begins to echo through out the kitchen and the whole house by the husband and wife, which shows how passionate their love is.

Lexus: "Eww, gross"

Hearing the sound that Lexus made, James stopped kissing his wife and turned his head to look at his daughter, to tell her something about love.

James: "Hey. This going to be you when you have a boyfriend or husband in the future." said James to his daughter, as she still eating her breakfast.

Lexus: "Ha me. That is never going to happen in my life, ever" sarcastically replies Lexus with a sarcastic face as well

Hearing what his daughter just said, James starts to burst out laughing from the remark that his daughter just said. As James finish laughing his butt off, he can't stop thinking about what his daughter just said, James knows that his daughter is still young so she hasn't been kissed by a boy just yet; which is good for James because he's not ready to let his baby girl grow up just yet.

James' wife: "So, since you are done laughing from the remark that our daughter just said. Why don't you go and sit down next to Lexus on the high chair, as I get your breakfasts ready for the day. Okay"

James: "Ok"

James listened to what his wife just said and starts to walk around the kitchen counter and sits down next to her. As James sits down next to Lexus, James' wife turns around to focus on the stove which has her husband's breakfast. As she cooks her husband breakfast, she can't stop thinking about the bond that husband and daughter have together, it is just so cute and wishes that nothing bad happens

A few minutes pass and since then Lexus, James, and his wife are eating their breakfast on the kitchen counter. As all three are eating their breakfast, Lexus remembers something that she needs to remind her dad about before she is dropped off for school.

Lexus: "How Dad! I want to ask you, are you coming to my school today for 'What do your parents do?' "

As Lexus mansions that to her father the whole kitchen goes dead silent with both parents being quiet. Lexus doesn't know what she said wrong, so she looks at her dad to see him have an uh-oh face on him...

James: " Well. Lexus. About that, um... *sigh* I don't think that I will be able to go to your school event..."

Lexus: "Wait, what?!"

James: "I'm not going Lexus"

Lexus: "Why?!"

James: "Because... I told my friend that would help them with something important that I thought about working together "

When James mentions that, he looked at his daughter to see her hand pointing down, James knew that his daughter's reaction to his news was not well received. Before James or his wife can say anything to Lexus, she raises her right hand up in the air and brings it back with full focus on the wood kitchen counter, which makes a huge bag sound that causes the kitchen counter to shake a bit.

Lexus: *angly voice* "You promised me that you would go, and now you're saying you won't!?"

James can see that his daughter is not happy about this announcement. Before things can get any worse, James wants to explain himself to his daughter.

James: "I know that you may be mad at me about this out-of-nowhere announcement. But the thing that I am currently working on for my friend is very important to me, so I don't want-"

Before James can finish what he was trying to say to Lexus. A very angry Lexus stops him before he can do so.

Lexus: "Oh, so, you're saying that this thing that you are going to work on with your friend, who we barely know of, Is more important than your own daughter!"

James hearing what his daughter, realizes that the thing he said came off wrong and tries back-paddle it

James: "Lexus. That-That came off wrong. I... I didn't mean like that. I-"

Lexus: "Oh, so... now you're saying you really didn't mean  like that,"

Lexus said as her voice sounded like she was ready to cry into tears

James: *sad voice* "Lexus".

Lexus: "No Dad, stop! Just... *a single tear drops* just spend time with your friend and your toys. I feel like those are more important for you instead of your daughter"

Lexus pushes her high chair away from the kitchen counter to drop down as she leaves the kitchen with tears in her eyes.

James wife: "Lexus, baby!"

Seeing her daughter cry causes James' wife to chase Lexus and to comfort her. As she does that, James is all left alone in the kitchen as he contemplates the decision he made by choosing his friend over his very own daughter. James feels that his relationship with his daughter is forever fracture by this one decision he just made.

-End of flashback-

Lexus finishes having her our flashback about the incident that happened early in the day with her father. As Lexus finish snapping out of her flashback, she realize something. Lexus looks down at her pretty cool futuristic watch...

... This watch from Lexus was given to her by her father as a Christmas present, so that she can see what time is it, but also so that she doesn't get distracted by the school clock which she did before getting it. At first, Lexus didn't like the watch that her dad given her, but as time pass Lexus started to fall in love with it. And the best thing about having a futuristic watch is that she likes to show it off to the other kids and brag about it

Lexus: "Huh, that's weird?..."

Lexus notices that it is already 1:51, and school ended around 1:30

Lexus: "... Mom said that she would pick me up around 1:35, but it's already passed that time"

Lexus wonders why her mom could be running

Lexus: *Lexus thoughts* "Well then. Time to go with plan B, which is to go to my mom's favorite café place to wait for her there and meet her"

As Lexus is talking to herself, she looks to her left to see her backpack...

... Lexus grabs her backpack before hopping off the cement bench, and starting to her journey.

                        It has been a minutes or hours since Lexus left her school. Currently Lexus is walking on the sidewalk of Westwood, where the café is located. As Lexus walks by people who are going up and down the street and local businesses that surround the area, she still can't stop thinking about the incident that happened between her and her father, which makes Lexus space out. As Lexus is spaced out, she doesn't notice two people running towards way her, and who look to be on a hurry and not paying attention as well. Before Lexus or one of the people can notices each other so that she can move out of the way, it was too late as Lexus collides with one of the people who was in a hurry

Lexus: Ahh!

Lexus lets out a small yell as she hits the cement ground. The good thing about this fall is that Lexus doesn't hit the back of her head as her backpack absorbs the empath from the fall, but the fall only leaves Lexus with a bruise on her right elbow and some scratches

Lexus: *Groans* Uhhhh... Wh-what?"

As Lexus groans pain while wondering what just happened,  she suddenly hears a female voice who is asking if she is all alright

???: "Oh shot! Are you ok little girl?"

Lexus: "Umm yeah, I'm ok.  I'm just a little bit bruised on my elbow and scratched up but that's all..." Answers Lexus to the female voice "...And also. Sorry for what happened, I was just spaced out, and I think I wasn't paying any attention to where I was going"

Lexus feels embarrassed about what just happened right now. The incident with her father is really taking a toll on her mental and emotional

???: "It's alright. Here, let me help you up"

The person reached their hand out to Lexus. Lexus sees the hand of the person before Lexus grabbed the random person hand, she tries to see the person who is reaching their hand out to help her, but Lexus can only see the person's silhouette. Lexus is hesitant at first but eventually she grabs the person's hand who pulls her up from the ground and up on her two-foot

Lexus: *cleaning off the dust* "Thanks for helping me"

???: "No problem kid"

As Lexus finishes dusting off the dust off her clothes, she lifts her head to look at the person. And when does, she is in shock at what she sees...

(So I'm going to use my "sister" as a face claim for this book. I hope that all of you horny dog out here are in your best behavior, especially WilsonsWits I'm keeping my eyes on him)

... Lexus has never seen a beautiful girl like her before, especially a Hispanic girl. As Lexus stares at the girl she notices that the girl looks to be around her teen, maybe in her 16, and she also looks to be around 5'1 in height. As Lexus is staring at the girl, she snaps out of her thoughts when whistles out her

The girl: *whistle* "Hey kid, are you good?"

Lexus: Umm, yeah I'm-I'm good. I just... I just thought that you looked beautiful"

The girl: *blushing with eyes closed* Aww thanks kid, that sweet of you to say"

Lexus gives the girl a smile feeling good about the complement that she gave to her. Before the two girls can continue to talk, they hear a small moan coming from the ground behind them. The Hispanic girl hears the moan so she looks to see where the sound is coming from before she turns around and realizings who it is

The girl: "Oh man, I forgot about you. Here, let me get you a hand"

The girl bends over to help the person who is also on the ground, and maybe, it's the person that collided with Lexus. Lexus tries to get a grips who the is person but she can't until the other person is on their two foot...

... Lexus sees that this person looks to be Hispanic, but this time it is a teen boy who looks to how the same age as the girl, but with slight. The boy looks to be a bit taller than the girl, maybe around 5'10, and he also looks to be slightly jacked by the bit of muscle that his arms are showing.

???: "Thanks"

The girl: No problem. Brother"

Lexus is surprised that the person she collided with was the Hispanic girl's brother. This causes Lexus to feel even more embarrassed about this in

The girl: Are you good?

???: Yeah, just a bit dust-up, that's all

As the two siblings talk, the boy notices Lexus behind his sister who is staring at them. As the boy notices Lexus staring, out of nowhere he starts to do the same and starts to stare at Lexus. Lexus notices the stare and is a bit freaked out by the stare but is also questioning on the boy is staring at her

Lexus thoughts: "Where is that kid staring at me?

Lexus looks behind her but sees nobody just people who are walking up and down the street that they are on, and surprisingly to Lexus, they seem to be ignoring them. Lexus turns her head back to still see the kid still staring at her. As the two are still staring once again Lexus wonders why is this boy staring, as she wondering Lexus starts to feel a weird feeling in her guts, which makes her theory that

Lexus thought: "Do-does kid know me?..." said Lexus as she squinted her eyes more "... But-but I don't think he knows me and I don't know him? An-and this my first time seeing so he shouldn't know me, does he?"

Before Lexus can think more about this theory, and before the two can continue their stare. The girl's brother snaps her fingers against her brother's face

The girl: *finger snap* Umm bro, are you ok?"

The boy snaps out of his thought and looks at his sister

The boy: "Um yeah, I'm good... I'm good"

The boy replies to his sister before he looked back at Lexus for a moment before turning back to his sister again

The girl: "Good to hear but we have to start going. Auntie wants us to get her those supplies that she asked from the supply store"

The boy: "Yeah, you're right. We should start going, we don't want her to keep Auntie waiting for us"

The two siblings finish their chat and begin to leave but not before the Hispanic girl walks over to Lexus, with her brother behind her

The girl: "Hey Kid. Me and my brother are in a bit of a hurry, so we have to go. But before we go, I just want to make sure again that you are okay?"

Lexus: "Um yeah, I'm okay..."

Lexus was surprised by how kind the girl was. Seeing the sister and brother duo made Lexus really want a sibling of her own

The girl: *small smile* "That's good to hear"

Lexus: "...But you guys can start going if you want to?"

The Girl: Are you sure? We-we can walk to your destination if you want to?"

Lexus: "No, it's alright, I don't want you and you're brother to be taken away from you guys important thing that you have to. Also, the place that I'm going to is a couple of blocks down so I don't feel like it's necessary"

The girl: "Oh ok. Well hope that you have a safe walk kid"

Lexus: "Thanks, you too"

The two sides say their goodbye before walking on their separate way. As Lexus is commencing her walk to the cafe place she turns head around to see the two siblings running in the opposite direction. As Lexus stare at the sibling, she sees the bother of the girl turning his head slightly to stare back at Lexus again, Lexus notices the stare and stares back at the kid again. The stare lasts for a few seconds before the boy turns his head back to focus on his run. While the boy turns his head back, Lexus is still staring back at the boy as he runs further, and further away from her site before disappearing altogether.

"Well... That was creeping"

Lexus turned her head back in front to force on her walk towards the cafe place while wanting to forget that weird interaction with the brother of the girl.

"Yes, almost there!..." said Lexus in a relieved voice as she saw the cafe shop just one block away from where she was "...Just need to cross this street to the next one, and then I make it to my destination," told Lexus as she crossed the street

As Lexus is making her way down the sidewalk while passing by people, she starts having a weird feeling, a feeling that someone is following her. Lexus stops her walk and stands still in the middle of the sidewalk as the people around walk past Lexus. Lexus looks around to see where the source of this feeling is coming from, but Lexus see nothing.

Lexus thoughts: "Huh? Where is this feeling coming from?"

Lexus tries to figure out where this feeling is coming from. Before Lexus can look around even more, she feels a chill running behind her back. As Lexus feels this sudden chill behind her back, she can also feel the weird feeling start to rise in energy, and at that point, it dawns on Lexus... that this feeling is coming behind her.

Lexus turns her head and body slowly to look behind, and as Leuxs does she can see a strange person staying a few feet away from her...

... Lexus can see that this mysterious person looks to be male in his 20s, around 6 feet tall, and maybe weighing around 168. Lexus also notices that the person looks to be wearing a hat on his head which is covered by the hood of the sweat jacket that the person is wearing.

Lexus stares at the man, while the man does the same an stares down at Lexus. The two froze as people after people walk past them not eyeing a bet on them as they mind their own business. Lexus and the person keep their eyes staring at each other as they wonder who will make their first move on each other. Lexus feels her heart beating fast, her anxiety kicking, and her sweat dripping down the side of her head.

While the two continue their staring, Lexus for a brief second turns her eyes back to look at the cafe place which is a few feet away from her. Finding this out, Lexus has an idea come rushing into her mind and wonders what she should do, ever wait for the guy to make his move on her, or run to the cafe place and ask for help. This sense of rush coursing in her body and the pending danger that is in front of her makes Lexus panic even more, and which also makes Lexus choose a decision that may have put her life in ever more in danger and that is to

RUN

Luxse bolts for it as she runs towards the cafe place while passing by other people. The man notices this and starts to give chase to Lexus, but not before pulling out what looks to be a walkie talking from its sweat jacket pocket and calling for help from the other side of it

"She's running! She running!" told the guy to the other side of the walkie talking as started to run

While that happening Lexus is still running as fast as she can while moving and pushing people who are in her way...

As Lexus is still running she turns her head back to see where the person at, and she can still person is getting very close to her. Seeing this, Lexus tries to run even more fast as she can.

"I'm... Almost... There" said Lexus out of breath but also relieved as she saw the cafe place in her sight. But sadly the happiness is short-lived when out of nowhere a white van appears in front of Lexus to stop her from crossing the sidewalk and reaching the cafe place. Lexus sees the van in front and stops to a screeching halt and wonders what is the van doing.

And as Lexus says her question is answered as the sliding door of the white van opens to reveal five men who all look to be wearing the same clothes but as the guy that's chasing Lexus, but there is one difference and that is their wearing black ski mask

"No!... No!... No!"

Lexus repeatedly say no as she couldn't believe that there were more of them, and wondered why are they coming after her. Lexus starts to backpedal which doesn't go unnoticed

"Hey! She's getting away!"

Lexus turns around to start running again before she can, Lexus bumps into someone who stunned her for a bit. Lexus recovers and looks up at the person that she bumped into to reveal to be the person who was chasing her, and he looks to have a big smile on his face as he finally reaches Lexus

"Got you

Before Lexus can fully react or do anything else, she feels an arm wrap around her shoulder and pick her up off the ground

Lexus: "Ahhh!"

"Shh, keep your voice down little girl"

Lexus: "No!"

Lexus as she starts to kick and wiggle to break from the gimp of the masked man "Help! Someone help me!"

"Like I said again, keep your voices down or I will put a bull- Ah!"

Before the masked person can finish his sentence, he gets a nice super kick in his groin area which causes the masks person a lot of pain

*Groan sound* "Why you little brat"

The masked man is pissed and annoyed by Lexus still trying to break from his hold that he calls apod his other friends to help him restrain Lexus. His two friends come over and try to help but they can't because of Lexus's legs which are pushing them back.

Lexus: "Get back! Get back! Get... back"

Before Lexus can continue her assault she gets a white clog put on her face which knocks her out cold

"Their. Now she shouldn't be bothering us anymore"

"Now, what's next?"

"Now we put her in the van and put her some zip ties on her two hands and leg, and a bag on her head. And then afterward, we drive off"

"Ok. We will get on to that"

As the masked man said that, he and his fellow mask friends took Lexus to the van to do the other things that the other guy mentioned. The man who was following Lexus follows behind them as they get in the van with Lexus who is out cold. Before the man got in the van, he heard someone behind him wondering what was going on

"Hey! What-what are you guys doing to that little girl?"

The man turns around to a random man in his 50s behind

"It's none of your business sir. I recommend that you keep moving along before something bad happens to you"

" 'None of my business?'. Well, it is my business when I see a girl who looks to be out cold..."

While the man is talking. The man in the sweat-jack slowly put his left hand inside his pants pocket to pull something out

... "So. I'm going to ask again 'What are you guys doing to that- "

Bang!

Everything in the surrounding area goes silent. The people who were walking up and down all stood still, including the man who looked to have a shocked expression on his face, and there was a reason why. The man put his right hand on his stomach to feel something liquid and wear on his stomach. He pulls his hand from his stomach to see blood on his hand, the man is more shocked but fighting as well by the sight of the blood in his hand, but also the reality that he just got shot.

"You... shot man"

Those are the only words that the person can say before taking a few steps back and falling on the sidewalk

"Aaaaaahhhhhhhh!"

A woman screams as sees the man fall to the ground while the man bleeds out from his stomach. Everybody starts to run away from the area, while others just stand still wondering what's going on. As this chaos goes on, the person who shot the man puts his gun and gets in the van. When he gets in the van he sees Lexus on the floor of the van with her foot and hand tied up with zip ties and a bag over her head, and he also sees the rest of his fellow men sitting down on their respected sit waiting for the van to start moving.

"Let's get going, man. Before cops get here"

Told the person to the driver of the van who gave him a nod

"On it"

The driver puts the gear stick from neutral to drive before putting his foot on the gas petrol and beginning to drive away from the scene. As the van is moving the guy in the sweat-jack goes and sits down with the rest of his fellow mask friends as they relax before they reach their location. As the masked men relax Lexus is still out cold and doesn't realize what just happened to her.

The white van speeds down the street as it passes by other cars while sirens can be heard in the background. The men in the van felt great about themself as they completed their mission with a few bumps in the road but overall feeling successful in their mission which was to capture Lexus without any further incident.

The white van leaves the scene without leaving any identity of who men are, and leaving people wondering except... One. On top of one of the local business roofs, there is a strange figure who witnesses the whole thing...

... As the strange figure stares at the van which disappears off in the distance, the figure looks down towards the sidewalk to see the people surrounding the man who suffered the gunshot wound to the stomach, helping him with his gun short and waiting for the ambulance and cops to arrive. Sensing that it witnessed enough, the mysterious figure leaves the scene, but not before leaving one question

So, guys, there goes the first part of my first book. I know that there are some moments in this part 1# that are rough around the edges but I feel like that is expected from a first-time writer lol.
