Happiness is found in some of the most unexpected places and ways.

Aurea Willingsworth is the average teen, yet with a large hole in her life that she has tried to fill, but has only left a larger gap in its place. Over the years, Aurea has been born and raised atheist, and has yet to know any different. Of course, there are the average nuisances that are trying to 'evangelize' Aurea at every corner, but she knows deep down inside it's not true.

When Mary Rose Miller, another one of those 'nuisances', manages to slip a flyer from a church camp and a note to meet up with her to discuss details, Aurea disregards the request. To her dismay, and through an intriguing series of events, Aurea winds up accidentally meeting up with Mary Rose and setting off an explosion that would lead to Aurea being dragged off to retreat with Mary Rose. While there, Aurea meets an interesting figure, by the name of Josiah Kent, that will show her the world of Christ that she has been missing her whole life.
